In these last games, before starting the premier league, I could already see some things:

1 -Liverpool managed to beat City, both teams played with their best players and Liverpool did better, this shows that we have a lot of good chances to be champions this season

2 - Arsenal are proving to be a strong team in attack, that will be a big problem, I think they are at the level of being candidates to win the premier league

3 - Manchester United wasted good opportunities to change those forwards and hire better ones and as a consequence they will have great difficulties in staying in the first 4 places, because tottenham is much better than manchester united

Arsenal are genuinely looking like a title contender at the moment, their attack has got a spark again. I'm surprised to see Liverpool do so much better than Man City in the community shield as I expected a close match up but it wasn't the case. At the moment, indeed Spurs look better and have better squad depth as well but, we'll have to wait until the coming weekend to actually know how things are going with the squad. Ultimately, consistency wins you championships or get you into the Champions League spots.

Haaland should be given some time to adapt indeed. Actually he wasn't that bad in the Community Shield game. He was just unlucky especially about that absolute goal chance he found in the last moments. Every striker can experience this kind of moments so it isn't a problem at all for me. To tell the truth I don't expect him to have big difficulties in playing compatibly with Guardiola's system.

So yes, it can be said that the match has high tension which of course, new players will be able to see their readiness in the match and that is an achievement also for Nunez who quickly got his first title at his new club.

The community shield final was a thriller to watch both teams played well but Liverpool dominated in the game. The other time, Liverpool is much more balanced, the players have this chemistry amongst themselves already, great team work also because they made just a few additions to the squad. Though I expected Manchester City to do better than they did but I will give kudos to Liverpool they did a great job, good finishing for Nunez and great work from Salah, they deserved the win.

Yes, Liverpool really deserved the victory from the match. This is a sign that Liverpool coach is fully prepared to win next season title, because all their players that played the game really demonstrated well from first half to second half that was giving their fans more joy for the good performance. I think, Manchester city coach has a lot of work to do for Manchester city to maintain the first position in next season because what people experienced from the match that made Liverpool to defeated Manchester city showed that they need to prepare well against next season.

Tottenham I think will be the most surprisingly big team like Man City and Liverpool. It all depends on the consistency of the performance of each team. because some are playing well at the start of the season and they are messed up in the middle of the season.

Despite failing to score in official matches, Haaland didn't play badly.  He has tried to give his best for the club, but luck has not been on his side. Conceding three goals is additional work for Guardiola, he must close the gap to prevent opposing players from penetrating his defense.

Give him time. Missing a few opportunities in a first official match for a new club is not the end. Haaland is very strong and he will score goals again. He has an excellent career from Malmo, Salzburg to Dortmund and will continue it in Manchester City and Premier League.

Haaland did not have good connections with other players in Manchester City but time will help him to improve it. Manchester City has many smart midfielders and they can provide good key passes to Haaland. They just need more time to find each other and play better together.

It is so weird that the league is already starting this weekend. In the recent Charity shield game it was visible that the players aren't yet on the needed level - they will probably need a few weeks to get there.

It might be a good opportunity to look for some surprises in the early games - like West Ham against City for example.

The qualities of these two players will be compared to determine who is more prepared, better and productive. Haaland and Nunez are two different players but they start to be compared based on their goal productivity and good performances in their old team. They will not immediately be able to adapt to their new team and understand strategy perfectly and are able to score goals in every game. Haaland was just unlucky with his good chances, but Nunez was different in that he managed to capitalize on them.

If Haaland also managed to score from the rebound then Manchester City would also not be considered good because they lost to Liverpool. On the other hand, Manchester City is not the candidate who won the most titles, they only managed to win 6 titles starting in 1937, 1968, 1972, 2012, 2018 and 2019. It's just a matter of time Eric Haaland will prove his worth and justify his worthiness, we should not hastily rate him with the community shield match alone, once he gets adapted to the team and key into their style of play honestly he will score a lot of goals, Man City hasn't gotten a sharp striker like Kun Aguero since his departure and I am sure Eric Haaland will do better than Gabriel Jesus as a center forward, Nunez is another new Liverpool signing who is on spotlight after his huge sign-on fee, he scored a goal with an assist to his credit, however I don't think he is better than Mane with time we will rate him.

Since the line-up of the two teams was shown, I saw some differences in some Manchester City players who were not played from the start like Phil Foden, as well as Liverpool. It was Jurgen Kloop who didn't play Darwin Nunez, but Pep Guardiola started Erling Haaland from the start. Therefore, I predict Liverpool will win the Community Shield.

From the time the referee blew the whistle the match started until the first half ended, Klopp looked quite calm without the slightest hint of panic on his face.
Liverpool win over Manchester City was a deserved victory and not due to luck and for me, Pep Guardiola should be proud of his players who performed outstandingly during the match.
