I agree with you Griezmann will be better fit for la Liga or Seria A team. I dislike it when Manchester United approaches players that are not vital for the team. It appears that none of the managers that United is putting in have learned from successful leaders like pep and klopp. Take a look at City, Liverpool, and even Arsenal. They all signed the perfect players instead of the wrong ones, which is why they have been successful for the past few years. Sign players that are hungry and young rather than big-name players.

I don't know which striker is the right fit for Manchester United.  Anthony is performing very well in the wing position.  Maybe Kane or Son.  However, the probability of Tottenham selling these two players is very low.  Especially against their rivals Manchester United.  The search for a tough forward for Manchester United has begun, let's see if they can find a good player.  I'm sure they won't get Mbappe, but I can't think of a player of Mbappe quality either.

Adding a new striker to Manchester United squad in the January transfer window will be very advantageous for the team. Manchester United really needs this player if they want to compete for any trophy this season, let alone the Premier League title. Watching some man u games before  the World Cup, I learned that the team is getting better, especially their winger, who has been contributing greatly. I don't think Antoine Griezmann is the right choice for Manchester United now, considering that we often see him at Atletico Madrid, his performance is really not that good, I think Ten Hag's decision is more correct to bring in Cody Gakpo as a striker rather than Antoine Grizmann, Manchester United need players more a talented young man to build his name back from the downturn of several seasons.

I see Newcastle now like Manchester City before Haaland was there, all the players are the same and also there are no top players or core players, but they are able to play solidly and also go up and down evenly.
