Yes, comparing these two players cannot be done, and that applies not only to these two players, but to all players. But if you have to compare then I have to see the position of these two players swapped, I mean what can Erling Haaland do if he is at Liverpool in a downturn like this season, and also what Nunez can do if he is at Manchester City who is playing very solidly , now maybe I will be able to compare the two because they are in the same position, but that is impossible to do right?
But on the other hand, I can't deny that Nunez disappointed many people who had high expectations for him. I'm not going to try to blame him because maybe that happened because of Liverpool's inconsistent condition this season.
I believe that key player injuries and inadequate player acquisitions were the most influential factors contributing to Liverpool's inconsistency this season. As a result, The Reds dropped out of the top four in the standings and failed to qualify for the next season's Champions League. Injuries to key players disrupted the team's balance, and they lacked adequate replacements. In such circumstances, Liverpool attempted to bring in backup players like Arthur from Juventus. In my opinion, their main weaknesses this season were in the midfield and forward lines. The occurrence of simultaneous player injuries left the manager with limited options and challenges in player rotation. Perhaps this could be a valuable learning experience for Liverpool to rebuild their squad, and they must be truly astute in acquiring new players in the future. It would be futile to purchase expensive players who fail to provide significant contributions that justify their price.

I'm not sure Haaland will continue at Man City. he is a young player, with great achievements and performances. Of course, getting a lot of experience in some big teams is also good for Haaland. especially to try some leagues in Europe. Ronaldo and Messi, who were the best players of their time, also tried several clubs in their careers. Haaland still has a lot of potentials to break several records that have been made by other top world players. Haaland isn't going anywhere in the next few seasons so I think he will still be at Manchester City especially after he won the treble in his first season. Haaland is the striker that Pep Guardiola needs, but if in a few seasons there is something like a conflict between Haaland and other players or something like that then he might try to join a different team. Of course it is possible to see Haaland in another team in the next few seasons, but for now I'm sure he really feels that Manchester City is the best team for him. In my opinion, it is not the time to discuss the future of Haaland, who is just about to enter his second season in the Premier League, but something could happen in the coming seasons.

@shogun47 Gundugan is definitely a City legend and whatever he decides will be respected by the City fan’s and I’m sure that he’ll be welcome back if he decides to join them in any role. Furthermore I feel that he should join Barcelona and further cement his legacy as he’s an incredible player and then after a year or two he should join the Saudi league.
He has had an amazing career and was successful with all the clubs he played for, but his role in Machester City and also all the synergy with the players there, it was so amazing that I would have liked to see him play with all of them for one more year. Such a great midfield for Manchester City and he fit in perfectly. He deserved to play two more successful seasons with the Citizens and maybe even defend the treble. They can do it, but now without Gundogan. I doubt that Barcelona will win a lot in the next season. Good luck to Gundugan in his new club Barcelona he had a fulfilled career in Man City with 14 trophies to his credit five Premier League titles, one UCL trophy, two FA Cup trophies, four Carabao trophies and two Community Shields he had indeed serve the club very well Man City fans will surely miss their hardworking and efficient captain, I also like his idea of trying another challenge or adventure elsewhere after winning all the competitive trophies in his former club and fortunately he got a better offer from his new club where his wealth of experience will help the young players to become a better player. The more I think about it the more I agree with it because there is more to going to Barcelona than just playing soccer. He has a little child now and he has wife, what's better than living in sweet Barcelona with mediterranean weather and playing soccer for a great club while still earning a lot of money and trying something new that's interesting? I think these considerations also played a role and from that perspective he made the right decision.

You're right there, of course the $200M release clause for Haaland will be extra considered by any team that wants him. Haaland has a contract with Manchester City until June 30 2027, so if other teams want Haaland from Manchester City then of course they have to be prepared to dig deeper into their pockets. Real Madrid and several other teams reportedly wanted him, but when they found out about Haaland's original clause it was clear they would step down regularly. Right now I'm curious about how Haaland will form in his second season instead of contemplating a possible move in the uncertainties, but I believe Haaland still really wants to be with Pep Guardiola for the duration of his contract.

Haaland, is a player every team desirer in their team, and Manchester city will no release him with little cash, they more demand more for any team that want him.

I can't understand why Arsenal's plans have to be tripped up by other teams if Declan Rice later transfers to Manchester City. However, the competition for Declan Rice has only just begun and now it remains only for the player to decide which club to play for next season.
With Mudryk it was the fee being little over the top for Arsenal so they left the race for him. In Rice's race, the most crucial thing was Gundogan's decision to stay or leave and now that he is reported to be leaving, City is joining the race as *expected*. Rice is open to join any club so it is going to be bidding war between the clubs interested in him which are Arsenal and Man City as of now. But we all know how deep City's pockets are so if they are really after this player then Arsenal has lost the Rice race. Sometimes direct talks with coach of the interested teams can also sway things towards the club so both clubs might try to do that as well. For Arsenal I think they might leave the race if at any point they feel like the fee West Ham are asking is not actually going for. Indeed, the news of Gundogan's departure to Barcelona was so sudden that Manchester City began to take swift steps to make an offer to Declan Rice. But before Gundogan left, Manchester City had already gotten Kovacic, who was likely to become his replacement. But if you talk about Pep Guardiola's thoughts, of course he will do everything as long as the options are open and therefore it seems that Manchester City is finally following Arsenal's steps to be able to get Declan Rice. It's true that talks with the team's coach could be an added value and as far as I know Declan Rice is closer to Pep Guardiola. Well, it seems that this transfer is really tough for Arsenal and Mikel Arteta will once again have to let go of his previous catch if West Ham finally chooses Manchester city's offer. Man City have agreed to sign Kovacic recently and there are talks about signing Rice too. Personally, I'm not sure why they need Rice because of Pep anything can happen. If City really wants him, then they should buy him. From my understanding, they don't need Rice at the moment since they already have Rodri who is an excellent defensive midfielder. It doesn't make sense to spend on him big money just for a backup player. Though, Rice could be a good backup option in case both Rodri and Kovacic get injured. Regardless, playing for City is a dream for any player. The move by Pep to get Rice might be more technical than we can imagine. Arteta has made some interesting offer for the powerful player, although the club is yet to agree to any price, he is confident that his addition to the team will strengthen the attack as it was lack of scorers that made Pep's Man City grab the top spot and trophy. Any player would of course dream of playing for City, but how good are you to grab first team spot, from great players like Haaland, Grillish, De Bruyne, is perhaps unlikely for the whole season probably.

~snip~ However, Chelsea has talented players like Aubameyang, Pulisic, Sterling, and Fofana in attack. So if Chelsea's new coach Pochettino can't strengthen the bond between the players, this team will not be able to perform well in the next season. Pochettino will have to work hard to strengthen this squad.
Pocettino became a new hope. He is experienced in the EPL and is better than the previous two coaches, Potter and Lampard. What I think is that he will throw away a lot and bring in new players? Chelsea have the best players, they have had incredible transfers this season. Their problem is only with coaches who can't empower players well. In addition they will have a lot of players returning from mass loan.

Haaland has got a stable squad. And got an experienced coach. Every Manchester City player is very helpful. The bond between the players is very good. And so Haaland has no problem adapting to this team. He has been able to adapt easily to City's players and has consistently put in good performances. On the other hand, Liverpool's scenario is completely opposite. The performance of this team was very poor in the last season. And for a long time, they were not even in the top 10 of the points table. Nunez could not adapt to this group due to the unstable condition of the whole team. And so I won't blame Nunez for his poor performance this season.
Haaland is a young player who has very good talent and is easy to adapt to other players who have successfully performed well in the Premier League and Champions League. I think Manchester city is very lucky to be able to fight for the best players like Haaland and I have a prediction that after Haaland's success at Manchester city this will make Haaland more comfortable and always extend his contract with Manchester city. Haaland is a great player. His fitness is very good. Able to score a lot of goals. And he has found a squad that suits him. The bond between Manchester City players is very strong. And they are supporting Haaland to score a lot of goals. Haaland played 46 matches in the Champions League and Premier League last season and scored 48 goals. Haaland had a season to remember. And Haaland is expected to become more experienced next season. And at the same time become more irresistible. Haaland will probably stay with Manchester City for a long time.

When Manchester City enter the race for Declan Rice's signature, then perhaps Arsenal and any team previously interested in the player will lose out on the race. Manchester City showed great interest in Declan Rice after Ilkay Gundogan officially joined Barcelona, so it's only natural for Manchester City to approach the player to build their squad. Declan Rice might be proud that he has started to attract interest from the likes of Bayern Munich, Arsenal, Manchester United and Manchester City, but so far West Ham seem to have refused the offer Arsenal's bid for Declan Rice. The situation is very interesting, but it looks like Manchester City will be the front team to sign Declan Rice.

As a scorer, Haaland is head and shoulders above everyone else now plus City are dominating and Liverpool had a very bad season so I don't think it makes sense to compare them. If next season Liverpool is normal, then perhaps Nunez will even compete with Haaland for the top 1, because despite the fantastic start and many records, Haaland scored only 6 goals more than Kane, who plays for the miserable Tottenham.
Nunez was always playing in left wing now while haaland was fully focused as a central striker of club. Comparing how many goals are being made by both is actually a pointless comparison. I hope liverpool can come back stronger next season. It's so stupid if liverpool will have same start again as the previous season when the team was facing so many difficulties in winning the game. I just wanna see what's the outcome from mcallister. I remember the same hype when liverpool bought nunez and gakpo but these players were disappointing so many fans with their horrible performance last season. I think that klopp will not try to repeat the same mistake again. Klopp began to complain about the broken calendar due to the winter World Cup since the start of last season. It is clear that he saw the problems before they had any consequences. But next season will be normal so Klopp has every opportunity to return Liverpool to their original place and any excuses will no longer work. I don't know how successful next season will be for him as there are several factors for and against, so it remains to be seen. I think after the first 4-5 rounds everything will be clear.

Therefore, I am sure that Pochettino will have no difficulty uniting and/or building chemistry with the players. Because after all, next season Chelsea will only focus on competition in the Premiere League and of course, that will be the right factor and or moment for Pochettino to make Chelsea able to compete well in the top zone in the Premiere League standings.

Nunez may not even be remotely close to Haaland, but I agree that the team plays a big role in there. If Nunez played for City and Haaland played for Liverpool, I think we would see Haaland score less and Nunez score more. Would Haaland still score more than Nunez? Maybe, maybe not.
I think the teams involved does play a huge role here. Nunez is a very talented player as well and could very well be relied upon to score goals. Manchester City plays beautiful football as a team and does a pretty good job of getting the ball over to Haaland who then goes ahead to score goals. I agree with you that if the roles were reversed and Darwin Nunez was playing for Manchester City, we would see Nunez score more goals and Haaland score less. I think the entire team hugely contributed to a very successful first premier league season for Haaland.

Klopp and Pep Guardiola have different game philosophies that affect the way the team plays both as a team and individually. Haaland is a target man at Manchester City, while Nunez may not have that role. Darwin Núñez can play in two different positions and he can play not only as a center striker but also as a left winger. Nunez even has good statistics when playing on the wing, he has 5 goals and 2 assists in 10 appearances. But Nunez struggled to find many goals when he played as a center forward, his statistics were 4 goals and 1 assist in 19 matches.

With a squad like Manchester City, Nunez might have scored a lot of goals. Not to say that the Liverpool squad is weak. However, since Sadio Mane left the team, Liverpool's performance has completely collapsed. And their performance was very erratic. Because of this, the team has not consistently performed better than Nunez. However, in the last few games of the season, Liverpool played very well and their performance was stable. Therefore, it is expected that Liverpool's performance will not be irregular in the next season. At the same time, Nunez will be able to score a lot of goals if he gets enough support from his teammates.

A lot has indeed gone wrong since Mane's departure, but let's also not forget that Virgil van Dijk has left the best days behind him too. Since he recovered from his serious knee injury, he has never reached his old level again. He used to lead his defense perfectly, but now it's almost winning every game and it's all leaking like a basket in the back. Van Dijk is not someone you can just replace, but I think you're going to need more leadership at the back for Liverpool. Otherwise it could be another catastrophic season. If Klopp performs poorly again, it could be the end of the story for him. And was Arsenal's performance a fluke or were they just really good?

Anyway, Pochettino is a coach who has good experience because the most important thing is, Pochettino has good experience when coaching big teams with many star players in his squad.
Chelsea will recruit more fantastic players during the transfer window, and we should always be cognizant of the type of results and expectations that are expected for our favorite clubs. I'm optimistic for an excellent performance from the blues next season; I know they won't hold back, and they're recovering throughout this time. Mauricio Pochettino is one of the few good coaches available; Chelsea may be lucky to have him; he's a promising coach who will tighten up the loose places in the Chelsea football club. The Premier League is a competitive league featuring outstanding performances by elite clubs.

Nunez often seems to miss good opportunities when he has the ball, that's because his finishing is sometimes poor. Klopp has given him a break and trained harder, but Darwin Núñez hasn't changed much. I believe Darwin will be better in his second season at Liverpool and he shouldn't be a bad signing for Klopp. Darwin has quality, but maybe it's true that he should get more moral support from his team-mates.

I too think Liverpool performance has dwindled after the departure of Sadio Mane to Bayern Munich and they haven’t quite recovered fully enough from it although we can’t actually classify them as a weak team. I still believe Darwin Nunez still has a role to play at Liverpool and perhaps doesn’t get enough support from his teammates like you noted. With a squad like Manchester City, I believe Nunez would definitely have scored much more then he did. Nevertheless, the next season would probably be better for the lad and in general for the club if they could maintain some sort of consistency in their performances.

This season has not gone well for Dawin because indeed he even has problems in terms of finishing but indeed there are still some conditions that can be forced of course this season. He has to do his best next season because indeed this has to be an answer for him because if this continues then indeed he can be considered a purchase even if it's not too bad but still for a high price it's a failure. He really threatens a lot with the speed he has always shown this season, it's just that, as you said, for finishing he is really bad because he seems to be struggling, especially with his emotions that are still overflowing, he must be more able to control it at this time. Hopefully next season will go according to what Klopp and Liverpool expect especially they are unlikely to add players to the attack line in this transfer and focus more on the midfield.
