He's good but he's not done anything to justify that tag, but it's getting out of hand with these transfer fees when even average players are fetching silly money. I suppose it depends on their finances and who they've sold, but they surely can't afford both Grealish and Kane. Is the Grealish signing a done deal? If it is I'm betting they're regretting that now Messi is a free agent and City would have been on of the likely teams he was interested in.

English players have overvalued price on transfer market. I don't say Grealish is not a good player but the cost for him is high crazily and it is an overpaid transfer from Manchester City.

Messi is already a free player and Manchester City won't not pay transfer fee. The issue is salary for Messi and how to convince him to join Manchester City. Pep can be a plus point for them to convince Messi. Manchester City can help Messi to win at least one Champions League before he ends his career.

He's definitely good, and has manged to shine in a Aston Villa side which I would describe as overwhelmingly average, however they did over perform last season, which is probably because of the impact that Grealish had, but I don't think hes a huge improvement over Manchester City's existing players.

Grealish is good but the appearance of Jack can put other players in the squad of Manchester City in uncertain positions. De Bruyne has a solid position, Bernado Silva too. Grealish probably takes the position of Phil Foden. It wil be bad for Phil after the last good season.

If Manchester City get Kane or actually any prolific striker, we'll be one step closer to having a one team league, similar to that of the French league. I don't want that, and that's exactly the reason financial fair play was introduced, to prevent this from happening.

Kane is the most desired player of Manchester City now because they need him to replace Kun Aguero. Gabriel has never provided enough goals for the club. Sterling is not a striker and unbelievably misses great opportunities.

well its not only in EPL,  the overvalue trend has been there since the oil money involved in football,  nobody can deny this.

the trend getting crazy and crazier year after year, its start from cristiano transfer to madrid with 95m euro in 2009/2010 (not oil money though)

rodri, sterling & laporte 60m euro each

Well noticed, as Messi's transfer to any of these clubs would imply a slap in the direction of Fair Play's ethics. But that doesn't matter ... the main news is that Qatar has offered the Argentine a billion dollars. Just think about this figure ... 1 billion dollars over three years, I just don't have enough words. They paid 117 million according to transfermarkt, and if that is true I am pretty sure they could have gotten Kane for that money too right? Plus they still need a pure striker, Gabriel Jesus is a great player but he is an overall player and not a pure striker, he doesn't always look at scoring every time, he runs, he passes, he playmakes, and yes he does score as we all know. What City needed was a pure striker in front of him so that this would be a great deal for them.

In any case, I think it is still City and they are still one of the best teams in the league if not the best team as they were for the past few years. What I really want to know is, did they talked about Kane with Spurs? What was the price requested?

Everything is going to the fact that Messi will go to Paris Saint-Germain. Moreover, the player will get to the club for free and there is no need to pay anything to Barcelona and the whole question is only about the player's salary, which is also a positive side in the issue of compliance with financial fair play. And in this case, the Parisians will refuse to transfer Pogba from Manchester United. As far as I know Tottenham wanted way more than 117 million. I think the 117 million were even in EUR. Didn't Tottenham at one point ask for at least 160 million Pounds?

Guardiola once more confirmed in an interview that he is interested in Kane, but won't further discuss because he signed by another club. I guess they are working hard on making it happen and eventually probably will.

He will vie for a starting eleven with the likes of  Kevin de Bruyne, Raheem Sterling, Phil Foden, Riyad Mahrez and Bernardo Silva a big competition here those players are equally good players too however according to statistics Grealish was fouled 110 times than any other premier league players last season thus creating opportunities to win freekicks against opponents he is equally a good dribbler as well and can equally create goal scoring chances more options for Pep Guordiola to rotate the team or change tactics if the needs arises and another opportunity for Man City to give UCL another shot this season with the Calibre of the quality players in his team.

I don't think Romelu Lukaku is suited to playing in the PL but indeed, I also realize that Lukaku got his prime when he was on loan from Chelsea to Everton. But in my view his performance has declined even after being fully owned by Everton and then Manchester United as well, his performances are less than perfect as when he was on loan at Everton. There are so many players who have returned to their previous clubs and many of them have not been able to give their best, so I'm only worried for Chelsea if they manage to bring back Lukaku but it could be a mistake too.
