I don't think that big gap in points can reduce the interesting in the EPL competitions, maybe for the title but not for the match, I see City still showing a good game even though they have lead quite far in half this season.

The current gap is obvious an advantage for City, it is normal if they feel happy with it but the competition is not over yet. 10 points gap with 17-18 matches remaining is still not safe enough because City may get slipped in some matches. What is needed by Pep and his team is consistency till the end of the season, they should not really care about the 10 points and focus on their upcoming matches.
