Remove Manchester United from that list of clubs you listed to have the potential to win the premier league, because Manchester United have lost what it takes to come top of other clubs and if care is not taken Manchester United will fall into relegation next season, hope you know they're lost their last match.

I expect ten hag to be knocking at the door of Manchester United board and telling them that mctomminay and Fred are not good enough, that they are not the players to take his team to the next level, and one thing I also learnt last weekend is that Christian eriksen can do the job Manchester United wants from frenkie dejong, he showed that in the second half once he fall back deep, so United should focus more on attacking players to help score goals, because they really needs goals scorers in that team

People who are not Manchester United fans can see this, but I can't understand how Maguire is, he is definitely played in every manager period. For Harry Maguire, the era of irreparable mistakes may soon begin. I don't think Manchester United will show any more compensation.

Did the season not just start, why the quick assumptions and giving up on them even before the season gets off properly? The football season is to run from august to may next year (2023) from what I saw and I am still looking to see a team to support, I have not written off manchester united yet from my options, I will make a proper decision about the club to show support to in like two more weeks, after seeing some more games.

He was very bad at managing the team so far, why he still has that squad lineup, he is arrogant, and only thinks about the position. he had to fix that in the next match. but this is a pretty disappointing start for manchester united because statistically their players are more superior but this situation is not at all true on the field. And it's a pretty good start for Brigton at the start of this season because with an early match win it will be an encouragement for them for the games to come.
I think Erik will need a lot of time to reshuffle the Manchester United squad back to strength because he can't quickly conclude which players should be given a chance and which players should sit on the bench. maybe Eriksen and Maguire can be substitutes for the next match if we look at the performance of these two players in the early matches who were not able to make a big contribution against brighton.

Manchester United performances was  a surprise to me because in preseason matches they did very well , I was not expecting them to start the league so poorly.  Their performance during the preseason game convinced me that Manchester United will of the same level of city and Liverpool  but I was dissapointed.

in the MU team there seems to be a self-serving political game. maybe it can be seen in terms of television news appearances. a captain who looks less shrewd in playing this ball brings bad currents to the MU team. makes me ask why the transfer price is not in accordance with the physical stats, the skills that Maguire has are good but this is the opposite

I was specifically impressed with Erling Haaland. Scoring a brace in there first Premier league game was very much a delivery on expectation. I am sure most fans looked forward to having his name on the score shit and he started that with a penalty and then got an assist from Kevin De Bruyne which he very much scored too. The league and season is already looking promising for him and we would soon have a Premier league where teams would deploy some defenders to pin him down in a game.

Manchester United have not been  team I like from last season and I don't see them looking to improve. It's a pity for Ronaldo to have been left on the team but, Manchester United is surely going down.

I know its a bit early but there are no sign of improvements from man united to suggest otherwise i think this season will be far worse than the previous one they can't even manage to sign one good player and the fact that maguire is still the captain of man united poses a lot of questions about the manager, because maguire has been really bad recently.

It is true that the pre-season match is just a warm-up match and also to do some experiments. So playing well in pre-season games does not guarantee
to play well in the Premier League. What surprised me was not only that Man United were beaten by Brighton, but the strategy used by Ten Hag.
When facing Brighton not only kept Ronaldo and Varane on the bench, but having Eriksen make the center forward really surprised me, it seems
Erik ten Hag has underestimated Brighton too much. He thinks the Premier League and the Eredivisie are not that much different, even though
in the Premier League Ten Hag can't underestimate even a weak team, hopefully Erik ten Hag will be more serious when facing Brentford next week.

Or maybe he thinks he still has time and wants to experiment on his best possible line up? Any manager would probably put Ronaldo at the start of the game unless he's injured and Ten Hag probably realized that the striker is more important than what he thinks of him now.

Even though they have brought in Martinez who is a great defender but still their defense is still bad, Maguire is no longer worthy of trust in maintaining the manchester united defense because he often makes silly mistakes, but somehow manchester united still keeps the clown and even making him captain, as the most expensive defender Manchester United has ever bought, doesn't he have a not contribution according to the price?
I think if Ten Hag wants to really change and improve manchester this season then the first thing he must will do is get Maguire out of the main squad or even from old traford at the moment.

I really don't understand how Manchester United can still continue with Maguire in defense. We all saw in the previous season that he was terrible. Erik ten Hag is still insisting about using him in the starting eleven. They don't have problems on only defending too. Their attacking side wasn't impressive as well. They just wasted many opportunities and this can cost them too much if they maintain this.

losing to brighton at home is really ridiculous but I'm still optimistic about Man United's potential because the 22/23 season is still just starting

MU's next opponent is Brentford, we will see if Manchester United will lose again or not

Well let's see if he is truly unreal as a super machine goals , so far it's just extraordinary to see him scoring two goals in his premier league debut , i would love to see haaland dominating the whole thing and could really considered as the real tising star , not a flop.

Just leave him in Ligue 1 with his big salary because this will not create real competition and who can buy Mbappe now.
Now maybe the EPL focus will increase on Haaland and Nunez especially for the Top Scorers to add candidates after Son and Salah as focus last season.

Newcastle for sure could bring mbappe in! With its nearly infinity funds in the bank lol they are the only one who can offers a lot of money on the table. I would be willing to take a bet against you and I say that Manchester City is going to become the Premier League champion. I doubt that Liverpool will be able to compete on that level this year (just talking the PL). I expect Manchester City to be extremely dominant week after week and I can't really see how they are going to lose five games or so. I just don't think it is going to happen. You will then need another team that is able to score in the range of 90 points plus. Who is that going to be?

Manchester United, I would cancel them out IMMEDIATELY! No way they are going to be top two. I would go so far as to say that they are NOT going to be top three. Chelsea is stable over some periods of time and they have a strong defense and can often bring home a lead by one goal only. Liverpool needs to get into shape as quickly as possible. When City loses a game, it almost always is unluck. I don't think I have seen them playing a game where I said afterwards "wow City didn't have the slightest chance". City is just a stability monster with an insanely strong offensive game style.

Man utd team is struggling, and the whole team is and it's not just the fault of maguire, even the only goal they score was a player scoring against his own goal, and I don't think maguire have that big of an impact on their offensive line as well, Man utd did nothing in the transfer market to make their team better, and the results are showing already.

People are always blaming maguire once it was being played by 11 players. I do agree if maguire didn't give a lot of contribution to the team and his price was over priced but remember that if coach was also the one who has been choosing the starter line up at that match. I personally have no problem with it caused by it's still at the early season. Something can happen during whole of season. Always playing maguire in any match was a very bad decision.
Sometime this guy needs to be replace with a better defender.

but one more thing that needs to be considered by the ten hag is the back line. In the first goal by Birghton against MU, we even saw many mistakes made by MU defenders. maybe MU need strengthening also at the back.

Marcus Rashford had several opportunities to score in front of goal, but these opportunities could not be maximized by him plus Manchester United's back line that played inconsistently, many mistakes they made in the first match. Erik Tan Hag said that all the players have not been able to get out of the pressure, where they have not been very cohesive in the match, Cristian Ronaldo has only trained for 10 days, so he has not been able to play from the first half.

These results also cannot be used as a basic benchmark for Manchester United next season, although it is true that Manchester United are not bringing in more new players through the current transfer market. But I'm sure that Manchester United will make changes for the better before next season because Manchester United can take a reference in some of the games they have played at this point.
