I think the main reason for newcastle success is that they rely on all players and not some individuals, they might think that having an important player such as ronaldo would have a negative impact on the team performance, they currently are on the third position and they only lost one game against liverpool they can easily end up in a champions league spot.

I think it is because they already have enough strikers in the squad. Remember they have 3 strikers and bringing Ronaldo will make 4 strikers in the squad. Out of these strikers, 2 of them costed them a little over 100m Euros - Chris Wood (35m) and Alexander Isak (70m). Now Ronaldo is a free agent but unless they sell any of these players I don't think they will go after Ronaldo at all. Selling these strikers will be hard unless Newcastle are willing to take a loss. Chris Wood was nowhere around 35m when Newcastle bought him and it will be very hard to get any kind of interest from other clubs on him. For Isak and Wilson, I don't think Newcastle will be planning to sell them anytime soon. If they are to bring Ronaldo as 4th striker, then it will create a problem with proper game time for other strikers.

They're more focused on getting the deal with the Cameron Striker done.

Honestly I would like to see Arsenal making it to the championship because it has been almost 20 years since they did it the last. Arteta and his students all deserve the title this season as long as they keep up this ambitious performance in the rest of the season too. Manchester City are still a huge threat to them so they will need to deal with this big pressure as strong as possible.

My biggest hope for my favourite Arsenal is that none of our key players currently representing their country in the world cup will return with injuries because that will be a problem to us going forward to maintain our lead in the EPL. We do not have replacements as Manchester city does, so even if some of their players representing their respective countries are injured, it will not seriously affect their campaign, even their star striker Halaand is having enough time to rest, unlike Most of our attackers who are currently representing their countries and their National teams have even been tipped as teams that will go far, that means they will play a lot and may likely return Fatigued.

If two of these three players are injured, then I believe Arsenal's attack power will be completely different and weaker. It won't be a big deal.

Arsenal must maximize matches where opponents are weaker to gain maximum points. This is the best way to always be ahead of Manchester City and other competitors because Arsenal are still worried about loss points in big matches.

There is no point in blaming one of the parties in a polemic. Even if I have to blame I prefer to blame both. Cristiano Ronaldo decided to return to Manchester United too because of the many influential people to make the transfer, because at first he almost made a deal with his city rivals Manchester City. I will blame SIr Alex Ferguson for all his ordeal. He was already set to move to Manchester City with all arrangement ready before he got the call from Sir and had to respect it. The annoying part is Sir Alex was no where to be found when his hard times in United began uptil when his contract got terminated. I am glad he is happily playing in the WC and has recorded his 36th goal. I hope Napoli finalises their deal with him because he will be far better in the seria A

I personally think they will still be the same for now, especially with the advantages of their current players and good teamwork, this clearly makes them still very favored and I feel that even after the international break it will still be like that.

If you normally have a team that finished second, and add Ronaldo to that, someone who scored bunch of goals for you, that means you should be even better, and for some reason they got worse.

I feel like locker room could be that reason, everyone else played worse because they didn't play well with Ronaldo, that doesn't mean these players are bad, doesn't mean Ronaldo is bad neither, it just means Ronaldo didn't fit with the others.
