If you look at national competitions, the EPL is the most highly regarded competition in the world. They do have a much stronger competition than other European countries such as Germany, Spain and Italy. Teams can only participate in the absolute top of the countries. Curious how Arsenal will do at the start of the 2nd league half. It is inevitable that there will be a certain pressure at Arsenal. They will have played without pressure at the beginning of the season, but in the meantime they are really thinking about possible title chances. Manchester City has that pressure differently, because they know they have so much quality that the points will come naturally. At Arsenal it could just collapse in one fell swoop. Something I don't see happening at Manchester City.

The EPL has always been the most competitive and regarded league since I picked interest in football and began to follow every season of the English Premier league and this season I am very curious as to know how Arsenal will resume the seasons campaign after the break. Will they continue in shining and top class form, or will they break down and let Manchester City take the lead while they follow or go further down the pecking order?

There is no doubt that it is true that the Premier League is the most competitive league compared to the leagues in the world. The large number of big teams here makes the competition interesting, not even just the big teams, because even a team that is considered a dark horse can make a surprise by winning the Premier League like Crystal Palace did a few seasons ago. It's different from the Bundesliga and Ligue 1 where it can be said that only 1 team can dominate.

Besides that the match between Manchester City vs Liverpool always be interesting to watched this because their rivalry for race title on previous season and on other competitions Liverpool actually had good records from Manchester City but Carabao Cup is not too important for both of teams considering Manchester City and Liverpool has more focus for other competitions such as premier league or champion league

I don't think Manchester United will have any big problems in winning against Burnley,they may be leading the Championship but not a long ago they suffered a humiliating defeat from Sheffield United 5-2 and beside that they have been conceding goals in most of their games,this should make the job a lot easier for Manchester United who despite not being able to fight for the Premier League title is still there in the top places of the Premier League standings.

Manchester City vs Liverpool is going to be a good game for the EPL cup as a quarter final,the odds of City are very generous at near 2 and considering Liverpool bad form this is something we should take profit for.

The money power of the new owners has brought Newcastle into the list of elite clubs in the premier league. The big ambition of the club owner will provide new competition in fighting for the EPL trophy, the first year after being officially acquired by the new owner has led Newcastle to third place in the standings list.

Ideally Newcastle should set a target end of the season in order to convince a lot of top players to join them. Newcastle is very different compared to last season, they have been very consistent and have only lost 1 in 15 matches so far. Strong financials will support the quality of the team to be better, they might become the next Manchester City in the Premier League. Of course it takes time and sacrifice until they succeed in doing so.

Over the next transfer window, I hope Newcastle manage to get some new players in although so far they have brought in the likes of Matt Targett, Sven Botman, Nick Pope and Alexander Isak. Strength will increase when Newcastle is able to bring in some top players, regardless of whether it is a striker or midfielder.

Aston Villa is not a formidable opponent for Liverpool, but we also cannot underestimate it, 12th place with 18 points is not too far from Liverpool, which is in 6th place with 22 points, with only 4 points difference between Aston Villa and Liverpool. but before that we will see Liverpool against Manchester City in second place in the standings, I think Liverpool can keep up with the game that Manchester City brought, it was proven in the previous match that Liverpool was defeated by Mohamed Salah with 1-0 until the end of the game.

Eddie howe was seriously building newcastle into the next level team. Since newcastle acqured by arabian consortium and newcastle has been slowly evolving. I heard that newcastle is ready to buy so many players in january but eddie howe is only focusing to get the new players that worthy with the price tag. I meant he has a good aspect to determine which new player that will give a lot of contribution tot he newcastle. Eddie didn't wanna blindly spending huge amounts just to buy players that contribute nothing to the newcastle. I do like how he was taking such decision when buying the team by seeing whole of aspects.

I don't think Liverpool will have much of a chance against Manchester City. It will be a difficult game for Liverpool, while City will play at their old pace.
The FA Cup is important for both teams, I think they will both put in a lot of effort and we will watch a good match with lots of goals. If Liverpool manages to score a goal early in the game, this game can be a lot of fun

Newcastle United's Premier League performance has demonstrated everything; they are now third in the table, two points behind Manchester City, having lost only one match against Liverpool, drawing with Manchester City and Manchester United, and even defeating Chelsea, demonstrating that they are ready to challenge for the Top Four and Premier League title.

Arsenal have yet to play Newcastle and Manchester City, which I am sure are the two most important matches they should play before the Premier League table settles. If Newcastle and Manchester City win, we will know that Newcastle will also be a title contender this season.

When premier league matches resume on December 27th, with roughly 7 games to begin, entertainment days are finally back with matches of interest, Aston Villa is playing against Liverpool on December 27th, and I have a good feeling that Liverpool might win given Aston Villa 2.50 odd from the look of things. Aston Villa is a great team, but I don't think they have the balls to play Liverpool, so I guess I will give Liverpool a straight win or draw. the villa will not make it easy for Liverpool.

I personally feel for now that I want to be in the title race as it is still too much and I will be surprised in the rest of the games after the holidays if they can compete there because regardless of anything I think this season their target is to be in a very decent position at least in europa League but indeed now they are in good condition but are my expectations really too low with Newcastle's current condition or is it like I expect this will only wait for them until the end of the season whether they will remain consistent or will they have a little problem later.

Tottenham have been one of the very inconsistent teams recently. They were able to win only two of their last five games in the league. They lost the rest of the games against Newcastle, Liverpool and Manchester United. This is clearly a proof that they have had serious problems in big games. They don't have much problem against weaker teams. Conte's priority needs to be to increase the effectivity of their game against tough opponents from now on. Otherwise this would be a big hindrance for them to fight for the title.

They aren't as close as Arsenal - Manchester City duo to the title maybe but they don't have an impossible gap to close either. The current lineup is enough to be in the title competition for a long time as long as they improve their performance.
