If PSG are really interested in Osimhen, then surely they will make an offer that Napoli will most likely find difficult to refuse. But I don't believe Osimhen is worthy of replacing Mbappe if he decides to go elsewhere. After all, Napoli really want their best striker not to go anywhere because they still need him, but of course if a team offers him a value that is hard to refuse then maybe Napoli will let him go.

Napoli basically doesn't want to release important players to clubs that aren't promising, while PSG excludes them. If I'm not mistaken, there has been a statement from Napoli that only PSG can make a fantastic offer for an Osimhen. Given that Napoli believes PSG will treat Osimhen well, especially now that the possibility of them preparing an option to replace Mbappe makes the path easier if Osimhen is interested.

The main issue is not even if whether the both club has the funds or not, its actually the player choice in the next league he would want to play and I would like to think osimhen is actually eyeing premiere league football and would prefer a premiere league club than the French and both the Spanish team offer.

I hope Osimhen doesn’t go to Chelsea. They have spent a lot of money on really average players but Osimhen is the real deal imo. He’s the classic number 9, he’d really suit the Premier League. He’s got physicality, pace, a great shot. So yeah, I really hope Chelsea don’t manage to sign him.

I also agree that Osimhen is suitable for the Premier League, but as you might think, he is not suitable for Chelsea. I tend to hope he will become one of Liverpool's strikers rather than choosing to join Chelsea who want him. Osimhen is also good for Arsenal, but I don't think Arsenal will try to sign him with very high price.
Meanwhile I don't think Napoli really want to sell him to another team before they find a replacement striker who is as good or better than Osimhen. Napoli still hope that Osimhen can help them secure the title next season, but as long as the transfer market hasn't closed, there's always a possibility that something could happen with Osimhen.

If Osimhen is to play in the Premier League by the next season, he should join teams that have already qualified for the Champions League rather than joining teams like Chelsea or Liverpool that didn't qualify. 
The possibility of Osimhen joining the premier league this season will not be realistic because the top premier league clubs who qualify for the champions league do not intend to sign him. Perhaps he ought to think about joining PSG, where he might play as the number 9 player in place of Mbappe.

That is what he should do at first glance, but there is also some potential for him in joining clubs like Chelsea or Liverpool even when they didn't qualify for the Champions League. In that case I would prefer Liverpool over Chelsea I guess because having Jurgen Klopp as the coach can get him to the next level and Liverpool is setting their own goals high and that perfectly aligns with what Osimhen wants to achieve. He also has the advantage that he is still young. A season without playing Champions League doesn't hurt as much as if he was already close to the age of 30.

You are right. It would be better for Osimhen to choose Liverpool over Chelsea. Chelsea are now a team in complete disarray. Their performance in the last season was very poor. They can't even come in the top 10 of the points table. Mauricio Pochettino has just become the manager of Chelsea. There is no guarantee that he will be able to stabilize the party. And so Liverpool would be the better option for OSimhen. Having Osimhen will make Liverpool's attack stronger. At the same time, Osimhen can score a lot of goals if he is with the same experienced squad.

One more problem is that nobody knows whether Chelsea will make it into the Champions League qualifiers this year and in a worst case Osimhen could end up not playing any international tournaments whatsoever in Europe. I think this is an important aspect when a player decides to accepT A package from a club. Salary, the coach who is working there, Champions League or not, the quality of the team mates and many more, but Osimhen has now proven that he can be the best scorer in the Italian league and now choosing a club that does not play the Champions League would be unexpected.

Hopefully Pochettino can become a coach who can bring back trophies for Chelsea in the coming seasons. Basically I think he will need time to rebuild Chelsea with new players or the new squad they have fixed in this transfer window. Chelsea must get stronger next season with Pochettino and to be an attraction for top European players to join them.

This is everyone's hope, especially Chelsea itself. At least, Chelsea can adapt quickly to the new coach and the players, both new and old. So that at least they can improve their performance very well and become top clubs again in the EPL, and enter the UCL in the following season. Last season was a very bad season and this is really embarrassing for Chelsea. So they certainly have high hopes for Pochettino for that. And according to the tactics and type of training he has, the hope is that Pochettino is indeed the best for Chelsea at the moment.

Harry Kane has said he doesn't want to stay in Tottenham Hotspur this summer. I think he realize that age is no longer in his side about clocking 30 years with no trophy. His contract should official expire by next year but he wants to make a fast move either to Bayern or Manchester city. I Daniel Levy should allow him to go , he has given part of his youth playing days to Tottenham so going to a club where he can celebrate trophy with team mates is a good idea for him.

Can't imagine how it would be if Kane really left for Manchester City and partnered with Haaland, so I think it's clear that it will be a very good line of attack and always a serious threat to opposing teams. But regarding Tottenham's difficulty in letting go of Kane's departure, a case like this is like a coercion. I think such an attitude cannot be justified at all. So yes, Tottenham should be able to accept the decision that Kane wants to leave, because it will be useless if Tottenham continues to force Kane to play at Tottenham then it will have a negative impact on his performance.

Harry Kane deserve to leave for a top flight club and taste lifting some trophy before the end of his career. A player of his status deserve such. I remember also one player in Tottenham who only was winning young player award in EPL which is Garry Bale. It was until Bale took the very drastic step to join Real Madrid that he started winning trophy. Now if you search Google for trophies that Garry Bale can lay claims to, they are all there,

The young players in Manchester United played very well in the second half and had more press. Noam Emeran who came on to replace Amad Diallo on that wing that Anthony plays for Manchester United senior team, played his role very well, was able to score the first goal and create the assist for the second goal. With this player Anthony will need to sit up because that is another player that the Manchester United coach can use to replace him in games where he plays bad. Emeran is totally deserving of a first team spot, Kobbie Mainoo too.

A few attempts early in the first half especially by giving Sancho some freedom as a striker which he is rarely even given such an opportunity actually allowed them to play better in the second half.
Some of their young players were quite energised when given the chance to play in this match.
Looking at the statistics in this match is actually not too strange but indeed looking at the many players played in this match I think this is one way to see new seeds that can be taken for next season.

Agree. Chelsea isn't in their best form for a few season. They also just hire a new manager and some new players. They need time to adapt, they won't instantly to show their best. Moreover, Chelsea has some serious problem in their squad, many players can't play consistently. These are some big problems that are not easy to fix in the early of this season. So, it is unlikely for Pochettino to join the race for EPL title in the next title. Pochettino needs time to rebuild again Chelsea squad and players' mentality. If Pochettino can deal with all Chelsea problems, their realistic target should be the top 5 of EPL table, not being the champion.

We must realise that pre-season games are sometimes just a warm-up for some big clubs because there are other things to consider such as giving opportunities to some players who rarely get this time to take precedence over looking at the schemes.
This is one way for the coach to measure how ready the players are after a long holiday.
Don't take friendlies and pre-season tours too seriously because sometimes they can be tricky and an example might be Chelsea and Liverpool in the season that has ended this time.

You have to see the latest news where Manchester United have resigned in recruiting Harry Kane because Tottenham are not willing to let Harry Kane go to Manchester United. Harry kane is one of the top PL stickers, so Tottenham don't want to sell him to a Team from the same league. So far, Bayern Munich has failed in the second bid because the figure of 80 million has not been able to make Tottenham complacent with the offer. But bayern munich are an aggressive team in the transfer window, I don't think they will just give up on kane. It is likely that Bayern Munich will make a final bid at a higher price to convince Tottenham to agree to their offer.

Besides that, no other team is really serious about getting Harry Kane. So bayern munich is one of the teams that really wants to get Harry kane in this transfer window. So any action on Harry kane future will depend heavily on Tottenham decisions in this transfer window. If tottenham is able to turn down all the offers that come in, there is a good chance harry kane will stay and he will leave on a free transfer next season.

it's still too early to reach that conclusion, because pochentino is a good coach and could be putting together a good team capable of surprising, and looking at the premier league, analyzing the arsenal that is making good signings to avoid the mistakes of the past, looking for liverpool who made few signings, looking at manchester united who also didn't see a big change in attack, looking at last season's champion who also didn't make big changes, so i see chelsea having a chance if pochentino manages to put together a good cast, newcastle can also be an obstacle

With the right Manager Chelsea should be among the top four next season but I doubt they have the right manager.  They have a manager that will make them but I don't think he will make them into a team that will be in the top four,  not to talk of competing for the league. The season is going to be very competitive,  with Liverpool and Arsenal making big moves.  Tottenham also look like they know what they're doing then there's Newcastle,  while Manchester City will keep being Manchester City. 
Pochettino will try his best for Chelsea,  but u feel his vest would be a Europa League spot.

I think Tottenham will eventually sell him before the start of next season. They have been very active in bringing in players this early maybe in preparation of Kane's departure from the club. I think there will be another offer and negotiation between the two teams.

It very much depends on no. of clubs interested in Harry Kane. Right now Bayern are the only one that seems to be interested and they are still bidding way below how much Spurs value their star player. It's 100m Euro atleast for a player that scores and assists a lot so I would say even though it is bit high for some of the clubs, Kane is a really a great team player and world class striker so his price tag is justifiable.

from my point of view, pre-season matches are one of the indicators for the coach to see that the new players who have been brought in can adapt to the existing squad and blend their games with other players in pre-season matches. Even in pre-season matches, the coach will usually give playing minutes for second-tier players or for academy players to play in pre-season matches to measure the quality they have. It could even be the right moment for academy players to break into the main squad next season if they are able to perform well in pre-season matches.

On the other hand, we have seen Manchester United perform quite well when they beat Leeds United, where the final score was 2-0 for Manchester United's victory. What caught my attention was the Manchester United goalkeeper where Erik ten Hag is still testing his goalkeeper skills in this pre-season game.

You're correct. Last season, Manchester United had a great preseason, but at the beginning of the  Premier League, they flopped woefully for the next two games. Losing four goals both to Brentford and Brighton.
The use of yougins tradition has been going down for a long time, the young players did blend in well with the first team players. The coach will still have decisions to make concerning player's leaving.

They're not even ready for that, it'll take Chelsea couple of two years before they can successfully fight and compete for the the Premier League. It'll sure be a struggle for some players but with time they'll definitely adapt. I hope to see Pochetino successfully winning his first trophy as a manager for Chelsea.

This is a great analysis of Harry Kane style of play. Harry Kane is an elite center forward with an eye for excellent creative passes that can cut open any defense in world football; Harry Kane can also dictate flow of play in attack. Any team signing Harry Kane is getting a goal scorer, a creative player and an all round center forward. At 29; i still believe that 80M is cheap for Harry Kane haha.

Pre season matches are exactly like you noted. A warm up for clubs and also to test player capabilities and fitness. Big clubs could also use pre season games to field players who barely see some action during the season and new tactics could be formulated and developed at this stage.
Friendly games are a great way to test player fitness and readiness but I also think it shouldn’t be used to predict or determine whether a club would be successful during that season. One could play very well during the pre season games and end up playing poorly during the entire season.

Of course, it is very difficult for Chelsea to be able to compete for the EPL title this season. Moreover, Chelsea is making a lot of player changes by selling several core players and maybe this is one of the best choices for Chelsea at the moment with a new coach. because if you continue to force the ego of star players to get bigger and disturb the balance of the club and tend to fight Pochettino. I think Tood Boehly wants to erase fans' memories of Abramovich. So if later Chelsea won the title, you could say this was the Chelsea era of Tood Bolhy. We can see that the leadership styles of the two are very different.

I also agree with you about new players and many young players, of course, they are still fresh, and they can easily adapt and follow the manager's directions. There are two players being prioritized for certain areas. One of them is Onana and the other one is Hojlund. Onana deal is soon being completed though as they have been only trying to find a middle way about the transfer fee with Inter. They have been in need of a striker on one hand and they are likely to increase the number of attempts they make on Hojlund transfer.

Hojlund is a really young striker and maybe he might need quite much time to give the expected performance to the Red Devils. But they seem okay with this when we look at their interest in him.
