It's too early to start predicting whether they'll be better than last season with a performance from just one match but it's a good thing they've started with such impressive performance and if they continue with this form and maintaining their winning streak till middle of the competition then they'll have a boost and stand a good chance of challenging for the trophy.
 Last season was good and this season might be better for them because they've introduced new players into their team and the new signings are impressive so far especially Tonali that made the opener in the 6th minute of his debute, he's one player to watch out for in Newcastle this season  and I hope he maintain such form because it would really be needed when they face tougher teams like Man City, United, Arsenal etc

Consistency and aggression both bring Newcastle United at the top of the league table after first start of the new season with five goals from them is surely shocking news for the many because mostly peoples were feeling they will be not able to handle this all as they have done in last season things are completely different, but their performance is surely impressive, and we cane expect another good season for this club which is having high ambitions for the future now their second match is against the toughest team in league and defending champions Manchester City hopefully they will keep things on positive for this game as well after having the best start of this season.

For Liverpool vs Chelsea I will probably be on Liverpool's side.

This will be a tough match for both teams, and I think a draw is the most likely result.

I think that a draw between Liverpool vs Chelsea will not happen because in terms of players Liverpool has a significant advantage over Chelsea and what makes Chelsea a little behind in terms of players is because they loan too many young players they have.

It is true that after Kane left, Son is the player who most deserves to be captain on the field, continuing the steps left by Kane. And Son contribution at Tottenham has also been very large since he joined the club since the 2015/2016 season. for my prediction, it looks like Newcastle is still the same as last season, its just that in the early matches this season it looks impressive to improve its performance but it will make more sense as you say if we have to see first when Newcastle have to play against a team on par like Liverpool, Man United. if Newcastle can always beat this team it means that it is clear that Newcastle have had a very good improvement this season but if not it looks like it will be last season repeating itself.

All of the Newcastle transfers this season have adapted to the team. I saw this from the first game. They have built an incredible team and i believe that most of the matches they will play this season will be high scoring and highly entertaining. It is doubtful whether they will be champions at the end of the year but it is certain that they will play football worthy of the League. Almiron is an incredible player and has a great contribution to the offense whenever he hits the ball.

The fact that Newcastle has performed so well from the first game is due to the fact that they have built the midfield very well. They have one of the best midfield groups in the league. That match was an example of fun and much preparedness of one club against the other. I never knew it could be more than 2 goals to nothing judging by the start of a new season, Aston Villa should have started better than that, but with what they played, I see nothing serious in their feat, even a lesser club than Newcastle would also beat them easily. The perceived weakness of the club is why I will not be rushed to judge Newcastle now, I will reserve this until they've played weak, medium and strong clubs, and that will take more than a month. Besides, I'm surprised to have seen people voting who would win already, it might be too early for that.

It seems Arteta is not really lucky and even in the game against Nottingham Forest when they won the game, with a 1-2 result he lost his defender Jurrien Timber, who joined this team recently with a five years contract from Ajax while he was in the squad at the start of the game, still, we don't know when Jurrien Timber will be able to get back in shape and play for Arsenal.

Yes, yes this was an impressive performance and I think it was not easy to say which team will win this game since Aston Villa by their own terms had an amazing season as well, but because the teams didn't have many changes going on within their squads I didn't know what to think.

It was a home game for Newcastle and they have been strong at home, that is why I thought they have the edge in this game, but if it ended very close or even in a draw, I think that is what most expected. But winning this game with 5 goals and 13 shots on target while Aston Villa had 6 shots on target, that was a great performance.

It also gives Newcastle the confirmation that they are still on a good way to pursue their goals. I thought they would be signing more players to be honest because they have all this money available, but so far that was not the case. There are still a lot of players I don't really know.

There are no big star players in the Newcastle squad. There are also no players who are paid very high wages by the  newcastle management. Considering the squad, Newcastle team can be considered as a mediocre team. However  this team continues to surprise everyone with excellent performances from last season.

No one would have imagined that Newcastle would qualify for the champions league last season. They have done it. The coach should be commended for it. but I thought since the team managed to qualify for the champions league, now maybe  they will add star players to the squad to add more  strength to their strength. But Eddie Howe didn't do that. Even so, the team surprised everyone in the first match with a great victory of 5-1 goals. I feel this team will become as strong as manchester city in the premier league in the next few years.

So, it is just about 30 minutes into the game and Manchester city is already leading with 1 goal, thats a very impressive start, I was just going through Google to try to find out more about the current ongoing game, and I saw in the win probability index that Manchester city have a whopping 86 percent chance of winning while burnley has just 4 percent chance, and chance of a draw is 11 percent, really interesting though.

Looking forward to join Manchester city to celebrate their first match and first win in the season Premier league.

I knew from the start that Manchester city were going to win this game,and for those people that followed my prediction for this first week of opening,I am quite sure that they will definitely win it because all the games I gave are 75 percent sure.Manchester city are the first teams to win in this opening week and they will actually be topping the table.Tomorrow I will be looking to watch their arc rival Arsenal to see how they will defeat Northingham city,and with how many goals because Arsenal will be looking forward to closing in the gaps in terms of goal difference with Mancity,and how many goals they score in their first game will really determine their chances if City are on thesame points with them.Overall,I am also looking forward to having a fun filled weekend as I watch my favourite team Arsenal win their game tomorrow with about 4:0 in favour of the gunners.

Arsenal Is my team too, I believe you can already confirm this in the op, and above all, I always wish that my team win every of their matches as when it comes to sports, nothing makes me happier and proud than this...
And by the above, I am also looking forward to watching Arsenal beat Northingham city tomorrow, but not to the tone of 4:0, that score is just pure exaggeration, Northingham city is not as weak as Burnley remember?, so If I am to be fair with the scoreline, I did predict that Arsenal will beat Northingham city by 2 or 3 goals to 1.

I prediction for the outcome of Nottingham verses Arsenal match that was played yesterday was right after all, somehow, I knew that there was no way Nottingham forest was not going to score, but then, I also knew that Arsenal will win, and I predicted that Arsenal will win by 2 or 3 goals to 1 goal by Nottingham forest, and eventually, Arsenal scored 2 goals and Nottingham scored 1 goal, very happy for the outcome of this match, for my favorite team did not only win the match, but I also won by bet, i am really impressed with the way Arsenal played yesterday, do I hope they put in more effort though.

Two matches to be played today, but the one i am particularly interested in is Chelsea verses Liverpool, will be very interesting to see if Chelsea is finally back on their feet or they are still like they were in the last 2022/2023 premier league season.
