Chelsea problem is in 2 phases.

1. The players are not good enough and the squad is not good enough.
2. The coach is not getting the best performance out of the players

The coach needs to find a tactics that bring out the best in the players; the coach needs to ensure that only players that deserves line up gets called up. The coach needs to drop preferential treatment and use only the best of the best.

Until this happens; results won't come for coach Pochetino or chelsea

I'd say;

• Mauricio Pochetino is not the right coach for Chelsea. I Believe Chelsea have a good and great squad, bit he is not the man for these players. A Coach like De Zebri Roberto the Italian would make the best out of these lads. Mauricio Pochetino is not a top notch manager and he's another failed manager Chelsea be testing following ( Frank Lampard, Graham Potter and now him to win what? ) Laughable.

Chelsea as a club lacks that patience to give another manager after the disappointing results from Graham Potter. Mauricio Pochetino should buckle up!!!

I don't think if you are right about Pochetino in Chelsea because I think Pochetino tried to do his best for this team but they failed and Pochetino is not guilty of it. Also, they sold many expensive players and Pochetino helped Chelsea to completely rebuild the team for a better result in this season.

I think proposition 1 is correct. Chelsea don't have a good squad. They spent millions of dollars on transfers but they don't have Haaland or Bellingham. Also before Pochettino, Lampard, Potter, Tuchel, Conte and Sarri were in charge of this team but they didn't get good results either. I think they are getting bad results because the squad is not good. If we talk based on this squad and evaluate the situation, the coaches should be secondary.

I think any football fan would want that, it can be compared to Leicester's fairytale in the 15-16 season, it was phenomenal. Aston Vila went out of the league that season finishing in last place by the way. If they pull off a miracle like that I'll be delighted for them.

I think the Leicester City fairytale was more intense than if Aston Villa were to win the Premier League title, wasn't it? It is so lang ago that I don't exactly know anymore, but whatever happens, winning the Premier League title against Manchester City, Liverpool, Arsenal and some others would be a dream come true for them.

Yes, yes I agree here. Talking about difficulty isn't really that easy as I am sure it was difficult as well back at the time when Leicester City won the title. But it is true in so far as Arsenal came 2nd in that season with 71 points and Leicester finished it with 81 points. I think you could put these two seasons, the one when Leicester won, and this one in so far into perspective as I doubt that this season's 2nd position will finish with 71 points. It is probably going to be more towards 80 points and in general there are more teams fiercely involved in the fight for the Premier League title. Nevertheless, Leicester City took it down back then because they never fell when everybody was hoping and waiting for them to fall. They kept going against all expectations.

I don't understand why Pochettino can't find a solution. If you can't beat Wolverhampton, which team will you beat? I expected them to lose against Liverpool at Anfield but they still got one point at least. I think this will be a more comfortable one for Arsenal to win.

West Ham newly beat Manchester United though but there is a big difference between Arsenal and the Red Devils these days. Arsenal would probably show the difference clearly in this game.    In the same way I expect Liverpool to beat Burnley as well.

This same Wolverampton won against Pep Guardiola and his almighty Manchester City, shared points with Aston Villa and Newcastle who was in a good position to win the game that day. So, Wolverampton is not one easy club to beat at home. I think they also won against Tottenham Hotspur.

Not just Mudryk and Nkuku. Cole Palmer and the defenders alongside the goalkeeper who did a good job back their to help the blues this afternoon. Madueke also when introduced did a good attacking job today. Raheem sterling should have scored that goal to put them ahead but he failed since he's a selfish prick.

Signing the wrong players is one of the first mistakes Ten Hag made this season, and some of his players are on injury, which is really affecting them. I just hope Ten Hag will be able to make corrections in the next transfer window. Manchester United is just getting worse, their fans are already losing confidence in them. If a club is performing poorly, then the first person to blame is the coach, before any other player will be blamed. Currently, ten Hag is being blamed for the current Manchester United poor performance because he keeps on using the wrong players and making the wrong substitutions in most of his matches. Manchester United fans are pushing for ten hag sack. If Manchester United keeps on performing poorly, I won't be surprised if ten hag is sacked before the end of the season.

They will actually be doing something memorable but the miraculous title win was that of Leicester city because of the odd given to them, they struggle to survive the season before that winning season and so everyone doubted their ambition. As for Aston Villa since last season they have shown that character to challenge those big clubs and that could be seen as then went on to qualify for European competitions last season at expense of Tottenham and Chelsea. Unai Emery will be the most joyous person if it goes like that because it will be like stealing the title from the hands of its former employees Arsenal.

I don’t buy the idea that coaches to bear the brunt, yes coaches set out tactical plans but are the coaches also responsible for the clear chances that his players miss? If you say Manchester United should sack the coach and then bring another new one I would say it is a wrong decision this time around. This bunch of players have long been in the club and have been coached with different top managers and yet they couldn’t deliver, funny part most of these coaches are doing well in their new adventures which shows they weren’t the problem at Manchester United.

What I think Manchester United need is squad overhaul: send out old players and bring in new players that suit the coach pattern after this if he doesn’t delivers you can go ahead and sack him

Yes, one more match before closing the end of the year and I think Arsenal will use this match as the best gift to end 2023. Arsenal will face West Ham which means this match will be full of fierce competition between the two teams. West Ham is not a weak team, they were able to beat Manchester United with a score of 2-0 and also beat Arsenal in the league cup with a score of 3-1. But in this meeting Arsenal will play at home which means it will be difficult for West Ham to repeat what they did in the league cup.

In the Premier League Arsenal have been so consistent and also in the previous match they have shown their best strength when facing Liverpool. So in the match against West Ham, if Arsenal want to maintain their ranking as leaders of the standings, they have to win this match. I think Arteta can give a beautiful closing gift to the fans by giving them a win in their last match of the year.

I'm not going to proclaim Arsenal as league champions just yet, despite their one-point shared with Liverpool in their last match. Liverpool is also in a better position to win the league, and with how these two teams are currently performing and playing, we will see a very tight and fierce race between the two of them. Arsenal's next game against West Ham will be crucial because West Ham is not a team that can be underestimated, but I am still confident that Arsenal will win. Similarly, I believe Liverpool will easily defeat Burnley.

Having wasted many good opportunities, Chelsea suffered a bitter 1-2 defeat to Wolves on Christmas Day. Chelsea created many opportunities against Wolves, but their ability to utilize them could have been better. Raheem Sterling missed an unbelievable opportunity in the 32nd minute. Chelsea's bright spot came in injury time when Sterling crossed from the right side for Nkunku to cut in and head the ball at an angle beyond the reach of Jose Sa. Nkunku is a quality player. He can score goals and create assists. I was very pleased with what he could do, although I was disappointed not to win the match.
The 1-2 loss meant Chelsea could not improve to 10th place and was even equaled by Wolves themselves by 22 points. Chelsea's busy schedule is probably the reason for their lack of performance. Pochettino and his team will prepare to return to Stamford Bridge to face Crystal Palace.

Three points went to Wolverhampton. They managed to intimidate the Chelsea defense with their attacks, and they got good results, one of the goals came from a corner kick. They score good goals from set pieces. In one position, Chelsea won the ball by getting in between the goalkeeper's pass, but wasted the position by selfishly trying to shoot while two of their friends were free. Chelsea has become a very ordinary team now, it's still Chelsea as if Tuchel hasn't forgotten my return. It's a big blow for the Blues to get up and improve their fortunes this season, if I'm not mistaken, R James has been sidelined twice this season due to injury. An endless misery befalling Pochettino squad, the latest defeat to Wolves adds to the complexity of the situation they are experiencing. As one of the players and also the team captain, James absence means a big problem that Pochettino must find a solution for.

Injury problems have been one of the factors in Chelsea decline this season, many players have been in the treatment room one after another. I feel this Poch’s Chelsea is facing so may difficulties especially upfront and to crown it all the injury problem.  Now let’s check the players ratings, you see that yes they give their all but when they get in to score a goal they seem pretty weak and fragile up front; this is one major challenge, Pochettino needs to take care of it very fast else this Chelsea will just be a shadow of last season and that’s one thing the fans will kick against especially with the large amount spent in the transfer window, and I'm pretty sure they'll still spend alot more.

Yeah, they will still spend a lot more because Pochettino is already beginning to make plans for the kind of players he wants to see in the Chelsea squad by the January transfer window. His target players are defensive players and strikers. But If Gallagher would agree to go to Tottenham by January, you know that there will be inclusion of midfield players in the January transfer window.
As it is very is, Chelsea, hasn't learned each other performance skills and position of how each player plays. That's why you find them winning and losing some matches. This shouldn't be the way they will make it to the top of the premier table this season if really they want to achieve that.

It's absolutely insane how much money Chelsea have spent in the past couple of years just to be in the middle of the pack or the bottom half of the table. Chelsea currently standing in 10th place, while they have spent close to a billion euros in the past 2 seasons and still can't even come close to challenging European competition ambition. Chelsea have 19 losses in 2023, making them the joint-most Premier League losses in a calendar year, 2023.

Like I've said before  in the the beginning of the season,  Arsenal are I think are gonna be a stronger contender for the English Premier League title this seasthan they were last season they've been very consistent with their results and performances in the league and if they can maintain their current  performance,  winning the English Premier League I think  is a dream that's achievable for the North London club.
For them to be able to play a scored draw against a big club like Liverpool at Anfield yesterday  tells how determined they are to finish the season better than they managed last season.

They play against  Ham in their next league  game of the season and I expect them to pick all three points from that match and probably remain at the top of the league till the end of the current season. Arsenal might not have the strongest squad in the league in terms of quality of players but they surely  have enough quality of players that can help win the English Premier League title

Chelsea got players who look like they have a very bright future. I think the biggest problem is that Chelsea do not have senior players. There is no guidance for the young lads who just came into the club. The senior players teach young lads the culture of the club. Chelsea needs players with experience to lead the young lads. Chelsea may not finished above 8th position this season.

They got players with bright future and we all know that, what surprises us is the fact that all these good players are under performing and currently sits at no.10, they can do more but it seems with time they are getting worse and worse and we are not certain where the problem lies, is it safe to say the coach is the problem or the players.

When all these issues started they had experienced players in their midst so we should put the blame on the new kids who just arrived at the club few months back. Chelsea is going through a change of phase just like Arsenal did and obviously it will take time to recover but when they do they will be unstoppable, these kids have prospects and I believe in them.

I'm not too sure if the problem is the wrong line up because previously Chelsea had used the same line up and won the match in a row if we see from week to week Chelsea's main problem is a weak defense they are too easy to concede, besides that the Chelsea striker does not show a stable graphics sometimes scoring then in the next match not this situation continues from week to week. Chelsea need changes in the defense area then improvement in the attack area and Chelsea must do it as soon as possible unless Chelsea do not target any position this season they can wait until next season. It's just that we don't know whether Pochettino is still trusted to handle Chelsea next season or he is still given another opportunity.

Since the last 2 seasons Chelsea have spent $1 billion to bring in players while the income from releasing players is $300 million I doubt Chelsea will not prepare any more budget for the transfer window next season unless Chelsea release more players first then spend it back. One thing we understand that spending a lot of money is not a guarantee for success.

In as much as Chelsea lost in today's game we shouldn't be too surprised with their poor performance, it was meant to be. I enjoyed the way both teams played and for a very long while we saw Chelsea's best player giving the Blues a goal, talking about Nkunku. He started from the bench but that's not the case, he did very well. A player who's coming from injury came in and got a goal is something we should applaud the winger for.
I believe we haven't seen much of him (Nkunku) in the EPL but for the fans I'd say they shouldn't be too excited about his return yet, he needs to be given like 4-5 games before they start saying their best players has arrived depending on how good he performs on the pitch, I feel the man Nkunku can elevate the team to a greater hight before the end of the season but let's just watch and see how Pochettino will make use of him.
