@ Siameze: the situation is slowly improving. Reputation is everything. Within two or three years, the Guild will be a trusted institution of the crypto world, know for its bench depth of talent and its honesty.
@ paper wallets/security: wow! Ian and I are learning by the minute: redundancy, acid-proof paper ('Linux USB distro'?). And thanks to Siameze, who is going to teach me Keybase.
Mark (IndiaMikeZulu), Australia
Good to see you back IMZ, hope you and our UNO mascot are doing well. I think I posted a brief mention about a linux USB distro on the guild. I may make a separate thread with instructions if I garner enough interest. FallingKnife was interested in compiling for Ubuntu, and since it is a bit more user-friendly than my distro I will probably go with that.

@MMpool
Thought I'd try increasing the Antminer S5 count again, using this configuration: stratum+tcp://mmpool.org:3333 <pool user ID> d=512
Just one was running fine, so added a second. Rejects increased some over a half hour period. Added a third and within ten minutes the A/R ratio on the new arrival was 1.8 which is very poor (at about 30min it was 1.4). Can anything be done to fix this?
PS. Am now dropping back to just two S5 again, restarted both at the same time. After ~15 minutes their respective A/R ratios are 11.1 and 1.8, I obviously have to drop back to one S5 again.
PPS. I've noticed the rejects don't show up singly, but in bursts. Looks like a timing problem to me.
PPPS. Thought I'd list the A/R ratios for the six Antminer S3: 519, 535, 586, 626, 421, 266 (am rebooting this last one)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Been over an hour now since returning the second two S5 to Eligius. Vari-diff has set 512 for both and their A/R ratios are: 551 and 1389 -- it's not a miner hardware problem.

Thank you. But can we assume that I reloaded the qt meaning, downloaded the latest version (not the beta) and that I deleted all appdata except for the wallet and downloaded the current blockchain... and double confirmed the correct address on 3 computers. Bittrex confirms TX. Quite simply, it's either Bittrex or the blockchain. Hey dev or someone... Thanks a million mmpool - compiled without issue & running now. Will report back with an update after running it for a few hours. Thanks also to PatMan for the suggestion.

Then I am afraid you need to supply a little more information. Perhaps you could tell us if you are using Windows or Linux? You said you downloaded the "latest" version, is it the release posted on the website? The blockchain certainly isn't the issue, so unless the addresses in the block explorer aren't yours then perhaps it was sent to the wrong address from Bittrex?

Yes it does, still not in my wallet.
Did you use the --reindex flag when you first started your wallet with the new blockchain?

I downloaded two (remember 3 pcs), one from website, one from ANN link. Did not copy blockchain between PCs and recovered from backup the wallet.dat on one. I don't fully understand the blockchain report since it shows two addresses but assume one is for miner reward since it's much less.

Therein lies your problem. The 9.5.0 version is no longer working, you must use the new version on the official website.

Off the top of my head, either db corruption or memory allocation issue. I will research this more IMZ.

Therein lies your problem. The 9.5.0 version is no longer working, you must use the new version on the official website. If this is the case then why isn't everybody having problems and not to mention a major backwords compatibility issue? Why isn't there a widespread (especially on the 1st page saying upgrade now!). Did someone send out an email to EVERYONE saying go here and download something that works now or else you lose your money? Yes I went to the website and downloaded the Windows and it only worked on 64bit, specifically said not for 32bit. Did I miss something? Missing something means I should not have to scour the forums to make my wallet work. Sorry I'm getting a little testy. Point is... if above is the case then this is a coin not ready for prime time consumption. Nobody should have to upgrade their wallet to have access to their coins. The point of a coin is that it works without research. I've calmed down now and will go to a computer with 64bit and download the "beta" wallet.

I'm going to put on my conspiracy theory hat and wonder if the weird delay in the updated wallets has anything to do with Blockstream's now-overdue* federated sidechains which is supposed to be implemented in UNO. Doesn't make much sense to me that MM has been planned for block 600K for weeks, yet no wallets were prepared; waiting for Blockstream might make sense. *here's why I say overdue: https://youtu.be/jE_elgnIw3M?t=1h29m59s

I'm now going to make a point that should be sent across all altcoin forums and never seen before!!!... Just like all major software developers in the real world, if a mandatory upgrade is necessary, it should be the responsibility of and enforced at the client level (the wallet). "Update now or lose your money". The end user software should notify the user of major changes, not bitcointalk or the website. REALLY getting tired of that as and end user.

Nope. Not gonna do it. Read my last. If you are not backwards compatible with the wallet universally without a mandatory prompt to upgrade, then this coin long term is a failure. If I have to watch this forum to make this coin work, then this coin is a long term failure. Guys it's only like a dollar I'm losing. The point is much more valuable. I like this coin and not as Jr.Member as you think.
