Southampton 3-2 Burnley

Newcastle United 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur



Burnley were winning 0-2 but ended up losing the game 3-2 because Southampton fought back. Burnley could have made use of at least 1 point with a draw as they want to be sure Fulahm will not catch them but they are still 7 points above the relegation zone.

Tottenham conceded a late goal again and they ended up drawing the game and let 3 points slip, they allow teams back in to game as the matches are about to end, they keep on conceding late goals. Newcastle are just 3 points above the relegation zone, I think Fulham will catch them and Newcastle will get relegated. Tottenham missed a chance to climb to 4th place in the EPL table.

Danny Welbeck comes back to bite Man United with Brighton & Hove Albion F.C. by scoring on the 13th min. Man United have been dominating the possession but have no shots on target while Brighton have more shots and shots on target. Defensively, Brighton are doing great and I think there is a good chance that they hold on to the lead and the game to end 1-0.

Aston Villa 3-1 Fulham


Fulham missed the chance to clear themselves of the relegation zone and put all the pressure on Newcastle. They were winning 0-1 but 3 goals from Villa late in the second half put a stop to that. I still think Fulham are going to stay up and it will be Newcastle that will get relegated.

Your opinion on Newcastle United will probably be real, but only if they drop point in the next few match and Fulham win all the remaining match. Newcastle United will not let any of that happen, they will still be playing in the EPL next season in my opinion. If Newcastle United win the match in Week 31, then the point will be further away and it will be difficult for Fulham. But now, anything is still possible.

RESULT:

Manchester United 2-1 Brighton and Hove Albion

Brighton were winning 0-1 at half time but Manchester United persisted and dominated most of the second half, they ended up taking all 3 points and stay 2nd in the EPL table. Brighton are just 6 points clear of the relegation zone so they are not exactly safe just yet.

I still think Fulham are going to stay up and it will be Newcastle that will get relegated.

Yes anything is possible. Newcastle are 3 points ahead of Fulham but they have 8 games to play before the end of the season whereas Fulham have only 7 games to play.

Fulham don't have what it takes to stay in the top flight they are going to be relegated again I've said it before and I'll say it again;

Yes, I am sure Everton will win the game later and only need 3 points to get into the top 5 who are currently in 8th position, and it will be a very exciting game, especially Everton who will play attack and host, and score 2 -1 for the host.
and for Wolverhampton Wanderers vs West Ham United with a score of 2-0, because in 5 meetings Wolverhampton Wanderers won 4 times and West Ham United 1 time.

This tie tonight would actually define how convenient or easy it would be for Chelsea, Liverpool or Leicester to make europe next season. If Everton wins tonight; it means they are going to be level on points with Liverpool, and tottenham and only 2 points of 4th placed Chelsea; if West Ham wins, they occupy the 4th position with 52 points.

I am tipping Lingard to another excellent performance and West Ham to win 1-3; While Everton can only play out a draw at the Merseyside tonight.

I think it will be a tight race, just one win for Fulham and one defeat for Newcastle United and the dynamics change again.

Newcastle is a proven team full of good players who are experienced enough to absorb pressure and they are also good at causing upset against the top 6 teams which team like Fulham can't do that yet. Fulham is a team full of young stars who are still growing but they are not there yet. They lost so many world-class players when they got relegated. I remember them spending about £150 that season.

In England when the relegation race is very close, the most influential club pay their way out. In this case, Newcastle has an advantage over Fulham.

It will be very interesting to see what happens as the season comes to an end. Fulham have 7 games to play and Newcastle have 8 games to play.

Both teams could have done with a win here but Everton will feel the loss of points more because they are chasing a top 4 finish in the EPL table. Crystal Palace are safe, they will not get get drawn in to a relegation battle.

It is a 5 team race for the 4th spot. Currently West Ham are 1 point clear of everyone else for the 4th spot but still 8 games to go.  They have 3 tough games that they need to win to cement their place. Leicester, Chelsea and Everton rest are all winnable. Spurs have an easier upcoming fixture but they do face Man United next week. If they manage to win that, it should push the momentum with them. The team that has surprised me the most is Man United. How they have firmly cemented the 2nd spot to themselves after a laughable start to the season is very impressive.

I did say it would end 2-3.....  

West Ham deserve to get through to the Champions League next season but that can only happen at the expense of Chelsea finishing in a Europa League position. It will be a tight end to a difficult Premier League season for both clubs.

I mostly get my scores completely wrong rather than right so when the results come in as I anticipated then it makes me feel extremely happy  

West Ham have been playing excellent football, David Moyes has been a revelation as manager and I expect them to fight to the end to take one of the 4 European Champions League places by finishing in the top 4 of the Premier League.

With Manchester City guaranteed a spot and Manchester United almost guaranteed a spot - it will be a close battle between Leicester City, West Ham, Chelsea, Tottenham Hotspur, Liverpool and Everton for the other two places though Leicester will probably grab the third spot if they can get just two more wins.

It is looking like a fantastic end to the season...

Yes, it's tight for those last couple of places. I think Leicester will take third, and the battle is for fourth.
Everton do have a game in hand on the other contenders, but they've been dropping points recently... and it's all about form and momentum at this stage of the season. I'm not convinced that West Ham will hold on, either, I'd expect Chelsea, Spurs or Liverpool to take fourth.
