He is probably enjoying his retirement, more exhibition fights gives him more money, and we cannot deny that exhibition fights are not risky compared to a professional fight, and since it's proven that exhibition fights could also bring millions of dollars, so Manny is just taking the opportunity again.

To fully enjoy his retirement, he should be out of the boxing world as he is there for almost the entirety of his life. Retiring should be involved with other activities or tasks that he didn't able to do when he is active in boxing.

But that's his decision and we are just here to give comments.

I hope his exhibition match will be fun and will fulfill what's the real purpose of doing it.

I agree,  but the way I observed it, some of the greats make one comeback and test themselves if they still have it. Muhammad Ali (RIP) for example, they say he should have retired but he keeps on fighting until he was knockout cold, and so on. We can speculate that there is some burning sensation on him that says one more fight champ. But the best there is right now is to test himself in an exhibition match, to entertain his fans. So we will see during press conference and hear from the man himself.

This is very common in boxing. It's in their blood. They grew up fighting since they were a kid, then in the amateurs until they turned into professionals. Boxing is their life. I believe more than half in the Hall of Fame made returns or continued to fight past their primes. From Muhammad Ali to Roy Jones Jr.

Although some continued fighting for monetary purposes. Many boxers aren't well educated or they simply do not have basic financial education and many of them went bankrupt. Mike Tyson for example.

I can only name a few that retired for good while they're still on top. Andre Ward is probably the only ATG that retired in its early 30s. Finito Lopez and Joe Calzaghe were in their mid-30s while Floyd Mayweather Jr, Lennox Lewis, and Vitali Klitschko extended their careers in their late 30s but they finally retired before losing to the younger contenders.

Yep, even Ray Leonard had some public exhibitions after his detach retina operation. So it's in their DNA, nevertheless they should know when to pull the breaks otherwise it might endanger their lives for good. And this is we don't want to see happen to Manny in the future. Sure, he can take some exhibitions fight, but still at 40, he needs to be very careful as well. Probably just light touches from his opponents will be ok, but not the brutal punch to the head or something.

Just follow the script if there is and they will be safe.

I see exhibition fights are scripted fights, it's just a way to entertain fight but boxers already know that they have limitations and rules to follow, otherwise, it will be very risk for both boxers since it's not their profession anymore, hence, they are not training like they usually do.

I think the first scripted fight that we have witnessed is the Tyson vs Roy Jones? Everything was perfect and we have been fooled. I mean crypto bookies have it as Tyson as the favorite, and then we have referee and judges.

Unfortunately, the script has been build since the beginning that this fight will end in a draw. And there was a lot of uproar. Nevertheless if Manny will fight, hopefully we will not find this kind of script fights wherein there is no winner.

Yeah it seems you are right he really needs to enjoy his retirement, I love to see Manny Pacquaio taking a title defense or a title match again but his body can not take it anymore, he is likely just for exhibition match fighter only, he can sure train a little and whatever happens inside the ring he will surely gain millions of money, and there are rich people who are willing to pay for this kind of stuff, and just like Floyd Mayweather who is just enjoying his fight and putting a great performance inside the ring, I really love his last fight against Don Moore,

Basically, that's a good observation on him and I think many do think of the same as you on how it went with his last match.

And if he's ever going to have a match again, it should just be the match that he can really take. For me, it could be another title match or an exhibition, as in anything as long as he can take himself with.

A match that he really thinks that he can bring himself up again until his final word comes that he's good and ready to settle for real and no rumors or actual news to come out that he's out to fight.

Well, that is what I think about my observation of him, and his last fight with Ugas, I think it is not self belittle if he can not make another win for his boxing record because I think he doesn't need to prove himself any further he is proven enough on his prime, but right now is what I call dwindle state, and there is nothing to be ashamed about all boxers and fighters will surely get to this state and eventually retired,

Well, when you are a boxer you will surely have a boxer's instinct and will always keep on searching for that eagerness to step again inside you will be longing and missing that experience of the heart-pounding matches that you take, I think boxers do misses what they are doing on their prime, and I guess Exhibition matches is really good for them and lessen the risk with those exhibition matches,

Yeah, all of them are going into that state when they're past due with their prime.

But it seems that he's eager to have another match soon as this news pops all over the web and many are surprised and as well as happy for his comeback.

Well, for fans that do understand that it's no longer the same as before, we would want him to choose peace and settlement for himself since he's proven that much already.

If Manny will have an exhibition fight soon, I bet it would be Mayweather on his first list because they didn't got a rematch when both of them are still fighting professionally but we can't be certain that there will be no script on that.

So when the money is right for sure he will accept it, but there could be more conditions and still wanted to remain undefeated even in exhibition and fix fight.  Smiley

If the fight with Mayweather will not happen, then I think Conor will be the next target. Actually, there's a rumor that they are supposed to fight before but when Conor gets injured in his MMA fight, that rumor was gone since Conor will need a year to recover from a serious injury.

Yes, I heard about the rumor about Manny fighting Conor in exhibition, similar type of fight that Conor did with Floyd years ago that become the 2nd highest PPV in history.

So as other may have said, this could be the start of a new career for Pacquiao, maybe some of us fans will not agree because it could hurt his legacy but for sure he is already a future hall of famer. And there is nothing wrong with having exhibition fights if it can bring more money not just for Manny for other former boxers as well.

Yeah, all of them are going into that state when they're past due with their prime.

Well, for fans that do understand that it's no longer the same as before, we would want him to choose peace and settlement for himself since he's proven that much already.

Yeah as a fan I really hope he finds peace of mind and does not chase a win anymore, he has done enough and I think fans that surely know about boxing don't really mind because in Pacquaio's prime we know what he is really capable of but nothing really lasts forever and that prime will surely diminish in due time a boxer's speed and power but not the legacy he has brought to the country and the people, I will still be a fan on his exhibition match but as a boxing fan and not with his political views,

Well, we can already assume what would happen because there is surely some script on the fighters involved if we speak about exhibition match, except if that exhibition match is an was consisted of MMA fighter vs boxer in the ring just like Mayweather-McGregor fight.

If Manny will have an exhibition fight soon, I bet it would be Mayweather on his first list because they didn't got a rematch when both of them are still fighting professionally but we can't be certain that there will be no script on that.

I can not assume if an exhibition match surely has a script or not, but preferably that will feel like you are watching a WWE match, in my opinion with the Mayweather VS McGregor match I really think it was not scripted at all I think Conor McGregor will not tolerate a scripted fight nor Floyd Mayweather,

Manny Pacquaio already has an exhibition match against DK Yoo, a Martial arts Instructor, and Youtuber this coming December this year, at least we could see Manny Pacquaio again inside the ring even though this is just an Exhibition match it is a worthwhile watch, here is the VIDEO if you haven't seen it yet,

A Conor McGregor fight will have to wait because Manny Pacquaio already has signed an exhibition match against Korean youtube DK Yoo, well there are full details if you have watch it on DK Yoo's channel, and see for yourself if he is a worth while fight for Manny Pacquaio,

But maybe even in exhibition fight, Mayweather will still refuse to have a rematch with Manny. But we will see, we thought that Floyd will not fight Conor but he did for the love of money.

So when the money is right for sure he will accept it, but there could be more conditions and still wanted to remain undefeated even in exhibition and fix fight.  Smiley

How so? I think a Pacquiao vs Mayweather fight will generate huge cash flows for both sides and I'm kind of sure that Mayweather would happily accept it if the price is right and surely that comes a condition of course, I bet one of those conditions is that he will receive the bigger slice. Typical Mayweather but yes, let's see if this rumor will do come true soon.

We're over with their exhibitions. Too bad Floyd didn't fight Pac while he is in his prime. Out come would have been different. He has to put up all the excuses in the world from drug to std test.

Most probably Pac is honing himself again with a Korean youtuber this time. It could just be a preparation for another exhibition fight, this is what  popular legends in boxing do these days. Although its not a real boxing, they still profit from fake boxing like WWE.

Or we may hear a lot of demands from Mayweather's camp before he will sign the deal for exhibition fight with Pacquiao.
Because knowing Pacquiao's personality, he doesn't give much of a trouble, he will fight if his fans are asking for it.
So if this rumor is true, more than likely, it would be years in the making again just like what happened on their 2015 fight.
Maybe, they will come into terms to fight at age 50 and beyond.  Grin So we should not hope to see them inside the ring very soon.

Not a real fight. Not recommended at their age, they would need a medic right inside the ring by now if they still fight like 2015. The one that I may see will probably just Youtubers like the Paul brothers vs Pacman. Same with Tyson who are up for it.

Hard to find warriors today that will bring people of the world to stop what they are doing and watch a boxing match. You don't see them anymore but Tyson and Pacman did it. If its  possible to still bring them inside the ring, a promoter might do it.

Mayweather was sure enough scared that time of Pacquiao as he's trying to make things up and throwing nonsense just to make the rematch impossible, he surely knew that if that rematch materialized, he won't have a flawless record anymore and probably retire with 1-2 defeat in his record because there's a high chance that a trilogy might happen too.

Let's just wait if ever Pacquiao and Mayweather will share a ring again soon or Pacquiao will have some fight with other fighter, I bet he's still resting now after that presidential race that he's been busy for months.

Update on Adrien Broner's fight with Omar Figueroa. There was an online press conference for their August 20 fight. But AB talked for just a few minutes and then left. Here is what About Billions said before disconnecting himself.
Quote
“I ain’t with none of this shit they got going on,” proclaimed Broner. “I feel like Al Haymon and Steven Espinoza is bullshitting because why is we doing a press conference on a computer? They don’t do Floyd’s shit on no fucking computer when he fights a YouTuber. They don’t do nobody else’s shit on the computer, but they want to do my shit on the computer – so that’s telling me they don’t give a fuck about me. So when you say fuck me, it’s fuck y’all. And at the end of the day, that’s what I really just came here to let y’all know. Anybody can see it. At this point, y’all just bullshitting. Y’all’s been supposed to make this fight. Y’all giving us dates. Y’all keep pushing our dates back. C’mon man. Who the fuck do a six-month camp? Y’all trippin. So what I’m gonna do is tell Omar keep training your ass off. I’m training my ass off too. Let’s go in there and put on the greatest performance.”

Broner was obviously not happy with Showtime and Al Haymon for setting that conference online instead of a face-to-face with a live audience and press. He felt disrespected. Come on PBC and Showtime! The Problem is ready with his costume and then you told him that the press conference will happen online? Cheesy Cheesy Cheesy

I can really imagine his face and how furious he was when he found out that their press conference will just happen online rather than face-to-face. I can see that he's so itching to say his script and act like a clown the whole time Grin Broner was totally devastated and felt disrespected about this because he ranted about Mayweather's fight against a YouTuber.

Lol, this is a slap to Broner's face and yeah it was a bitch move being pulled by Al Haymon and Espinoza,  Grin

Anyhow, Broner should understand that he is no longer the A-Side of any of the fights moving forward, (well this could be his last one). So he should understand it, I think this is just the beginning of the press conference?

And if I'm not mistaken, Kambosos was also done this way because obviously, he is in Australia and then Haney was still back in the US that time.
