honestly this two days of World cup break seems to me like 1 week. The environment has been boring no entertainment no English Premier League no La Liga no Bundesliga No Champions League and Europa only waiting for World Cup. I'm happy it has resumed. but from where I am living it is several hours before the match between Brazil and Croatia but I have no option than to wait patiently.

So actually we don't expect FIFA or UEFA to reduce the tournament because it will make us football lovers so boring because the matches that can be watched regularly will be reduced, thankfully after this World Cup is over the Premier League will soon play its matches on December 26 while Serie A starts January 2023.

The group stage produced so many surprises but these miracles were reduced in the quarter-finals because the only match that ended in surprise was between Morocco and Spain. Croatia winning Brazil would be another world cup surprise but it would take additional effort and luck for this I happen. Brazil has all it takes to win against average teams like Croatia except that are unlucky.
I expect the Croatian side to put more players on the defensive, while they put some fast players up front who can utilize counterattacks. Brazil is not a team that can be stopped by an uncoordinated defense.

I fully agree with this. The Brazillians are favorites in this game, they are real football power, but Croatia proved, with their crazy win over France in UEFA Nations League, that they can allo the other team to be the favorites. I was just about to write the same. Two days without a game, after xx days with many games was of course a bit boring. Today only 2 games, but okay, we'll be fine. Brazil I see the team in the semifinals and I think the Netherlands have a good chance vs Argentina. They haven't lost a game this World Cup and won 8 of their last 10 games. Argentina lost 1:2 against Saudi Arabia in this World Cup.

I hope Argentina wins, like I said. The final of this World Cup should be the final between Argentina and Portugal. Argentina's job is harder than ever, but it's not an unwinnable match. The Netherlands may have a better squad or better statistics. But that doesn't mean Argentina can't win. We have seen that anyone can do anything in this tournament. Japan beat Germany, Saudi Arabia beat Argentina. These are just a few examples. It will be a very stressful match and I can't wait for the game time.

There were some surprises in this year's World Cup where even the weak teams were able to defeat the big. Saudi Arabia's win against Argentina, Japan's win against Germany and Morocco's win against Spain from the knock out stage were all miracles. However, the chances of such situation that happening in the quarter finals are very low. But if fate does not favor, then anything happens. Lol. You make a whole lot of sense. Many of us have been saying that FIFA and UEFA should reduce the number of matches that are played while we cannot stay days without watching football. In order to balance it UEFA needs to remove some tournaments like conference league and the UEFA nations league. The EURO tournament should replace it very well.

Japan are a strong team, and because Croatia had a difficult time beating them doesn't mean that Croatia would be beaten easy and fast by Brazil, it is possible that Brazil could have struggled against Japan if they had met them, football is difficult to predict.
