It almost seem as though, we approach our team management in same way and are affected by it as well. Can’t believe I just got Taylor in from Aston Villa to fill in for Gusto who has been ruled out for the rest of the year, still looking out how to gradually manage my free transfer to get a credible bankroll such as yours to enable me get back Haaland but, it appears I’ll be a week behind again as Taylor just got suspend till 23rd, still looking if it would be a best idea to sell him.
Branthwaite and Trippier are facing same suspension issues till 23rd. Like, what’s become of my defense! Only Pedro Porro happens to be left. I might have to see this one out with the FPL, maybe they would give me Solanke, lol…

Yeah, but he won't be playing. He's too expensive to have in the team if you know he'll be missing back to back games.

yeah, with AFCON coming to town, it is a real question what to do
he is expensive, but there is not much value in players valued 8M+ compared to players valued at 6M+, if you choose right

and three of them can set you for Salah price
other option is to play with 5-6M in you balance, which is hardly a goal, and those are 2 FT, with some money as well, since his price was rising
maybe good timing can settle that one?

Something I sure didn’t consider until now that you’ve laid it bare. Surely I’ll be looking to get him out to enable him help bankroll my bringing E. Haaland in. It’s not a probable course but something that is bound to be the case with home being the captain of his Egyptian side.

Apparently but, I’ve got a couple of choices I’ve been looking at for my midfield, one of those was Gordon which I’ve got and Hee Chan of Wolves @ just $5.8 which remains in view. Perhaps the Salah weeks out could provide the vacuum for him to come in but all that depends on if there is about enough to get Haaland and himself. I think Hee Chan is doing okay for his price.

We can see the full side of the glass, now with two english teams out of competition and better to say, out of all the competitions in europe, we can have more available taht players for the Fantasy teams. No risk of a injuty in midweek or being tired for playing in europe.

Okay, it’s just hours to the end of the transfer season and I’m becoming concerned about the suspension of some of my players. As it is on current standing, I’ve lost K. Trippier and J. Branthwaites and C. Taylor all to suspension. Luckily, I’ve still got Kabore who just returned from injury although, his been some of the worst player on my team so, I’m sure of zero points from him. Anyway, I’m a man short on my defense based on the suspensions and I don’t see a replacement in the market just yet but, any chance at the end of the week, should Solanke get any point, he gets to fill in for any number on my missing eleven men? Even if it’s from the defense.

No, you must have 3 defenders at all time. So no way Solanke covers your defenders.

No, Pep is playing his usual mind games, and even his dad and girlfriend are in on it  

Doesn't make sense to start him unless you already have him, though if you are planning to sell him on GW18, might as well do it now to avoid taking hits.

I am more worried about City keeping a clean sheet than whether he plays tbh. Crystal Palace have one attacker injured, and another suspended. They're toothless (??)

Haaland's price will probably fall in a day or 2. I don't think there will be some official stance from City before the start of the game - the smart move is to sell him now.
I already replaced him, the only problem for me now is that I have to keep 6 mil in the bank so I can get him back for GW19.

Odegaard's price rose again - really not sure why people go for him. One of the disappointments of the season, I'm glad I sold him early.

Why is 0.1M so important to some of you? I only look at price changes if I am so tight with the budget that I will get priced out. In this case when I sell Haaland I will have money to the roof. Who cares about that 0.1.

@cryptofrka Why do you intend to keep Haaland money in bank? Both Salah and Son are going away soon. Just downgrade one of them a bit earlier and get him back if you want Haaland for Sheffield.

That being said I sold him now after the press conference. Sounds to me like he is out for sure and I have kept money in the bank since I don't want to go -4 for defender transfer.

I hope that he can manage to collect surprise points for me against Chelsea and Aston Villa away. If I decide to make a move in exchange for -4 points I can get Isak from Newcastle. No changes made from my squad from last week. I'm in for a Rollercoaster ride this weekend. Might probably score the lowest — too man players got suspended and didn't want to take -4 (hits) considering they'd most likely be back next week and I didn't want to go back and forth in order to get them back for next gw and possibly incur more negative points.

I miss my wildcard. When the second and final wildcard becomes available, I'd be very picky and careful next time before I use it.

Ouch I thought he is injured or something, I didnt check anything. Fantasy shows 25% chance of playing though so I put him on the bench oh well that sucks if he ended up playing then score hattrick somehow 


So the thing with wildcard was that, we are given free twice a season wasnt it so that means I should use it before given a new one later on? I used mine because most of my players ended up with low probability of playing so I swap them out for abit. Going to try some combination of new players to see if this is actually worth it and I ended up swapping 5-6 players out with my wildcard

I'm gonna lose a lot on Salah - I got him initially at 12.5, which means a 0.3 loss. If you ignore all the 0.1's across the season, it probably backfires at some point.
I will get Haaland back for GW19, I honestly forgot Son's going away as well. Shit, won't be easy to replace both him and Salah properly without wildcarding early (which is a mistake) or going with negative points.

It looks like almost everyone has spent 4 points to get rid of Haaland. I would laugh a lot if Pep Guardiola makes a surprise and puts him in the starting eleven. I assume that I have made a big mistake by keeping him in my squad. However I don't like to make transfers in exchange for points much. While Haaland's condition wasn't clear at the beginning of the week I used my free transfer righht for Pedro Porro. Thankfully Pedro Porro made me smile by winning 8 points last night.

It looks like almost everyone has spent 4 points to get rid of Haaland. I would laugh a lot if Pep Guardiola makes a surprise and puts him in the starting eleven. I assume that I have made a big mistake by keeping him in my squad. However I don't like to make transfers in exchange for points much. While Haaland's condition wasn't clear at the beginning of the week I used my free transfer righht for Pedro Porro. Thankfully Pedro Porro made me smile by winning 8 points last night.

I don't think most people got rid of Haaland simply because of the supposed injury, but rather Man City also of a blank game week ahead so it's literally killing two birds with one stone, and there wouldn't any drop in price on Haaland, so it's going to be easier to get him back after that game week.

I don’t see how I would have wanted or done much to offset that. Have a free transfer but, taking them out only to bing them back after a game week don’t seem like my biggest points. I could manage a zero on them this game week.

Probably too late but, Haaland might not be featuring in the on going GW18. He’s would be fairly recovered from injury, Manchester City is involved in a club World Cup admits other competitions that would require the optimum health status of all them players and as such, Pep would t want to risk it on Crystal Palace. I’m hoping he would have Alvarez though but, it’s not promising. Either way, Solanke might just be useful and facing Luton town from a home, a goal isn’t way up his head to fill in, in the event that Alvarez does blank.

have no time to properly thinking out my team (several weeks in a row), and brought Son in for Haaland yesterday, but forgot to kick his captain badge to Salah (or just didn't saved in the end, but doesn't matter in the end)

and Son didn't do anything last night, although expected to see Nottingham on score sheet as well, didn't expect clean sheet for Spurs definitely
but, have no chances to shine, so am no nervous as well
