I managed to collect 58 points this week with Hwang Hee-chan's scoring a goal tonight. Even though 58 points isn't very high I assume that I still managed to become the person who collected the most points in our league this week.Still I think that I'm quite unlucky this week. I chose Son as the captain but all of his 3 goals in the Aston Villa match were disallowed due to offside. It was painful for me to watch.

By the way I would like to correct a mistake here.    I thought that I was the one who collected the most points for the week. However I have realized that boltz was more successful than me about this topic. I would like to congratulate him for being the winner of this week.

Though week as expected, Lascelles (probably spelled him wrong) coming from the bench helped a little.

Too late, already bought Kelleher and Sterling on my 2 FT   at least Sterling does not have europe to worry about, although I'm not worried about Kelleher at all since the statistical probability that he pulls a hammy right after Alisson is quite small.

I know I said Sterling was a trap before, but he seems to be doing a lot better now.

I still have enough to shore up my defense, and I can even do Jonny Evans => Porro if I downgrade Bowen. Although I do have cover in defense and midfield/attack in case someone gets injured and/or Bowen does not recover in time.

Right, I forgot to say that I transferred out Neto and Bernd Leno out for those two. I was really looking forward to having Neto back this week but that never came out to be, I know he has Burnley in like 2 gameweeks but I feel that I am losing points across my whole midfield, so that's a problem if I want to close the gap. Also his fixtures get harder after that so there's no point just taking 5 points in 2 weeks (suppose), I need more than that urgently.

As for Leno, well, suffice it to say, I am quite disappointed by his recent performances, and he and Areola have very hard fixtures next so the potential clean sheet helps here.

Since getting Salah in my team, it has been an easy decision for me to just give him the captain band. Haaland is a good choice for a captain but Salah returns are usually on par with him as Salah gets assists pretty much every week even though he doesn't get to find the net. Best choice would be to decide between the two of them for each gw based on the fixture they have.


I finally got rid of Botman with my free transfer for this gw. Net negative effect and returns for Botman on my team. Got Trippier once again — hopefully he gets to cook as we approach midway to the season.

On the contrary, I made some small changes (I don’t see the point in paying points for additional transfers) and seemed to be happy with the team, but in this round I scored less than my usual result of 50 points.
I don’t know what can pull me out of the bottom half of the table, although theoretically speaking, even gap even between first and last place is not so great that it no longer has a chance.

The problem I'm having is that I have 3 Liverpool's players already. Tsimikas is the only one I can risk at this point, but he's a good pick as long as Robertson's out.

That's one Transfer you sure going to spend along the line If you go with, secondly, how many clean sheet do expect him to keep and I regarding to Liverpool's defensive ability at large, when he even keeps any clean sheet you know it would be more of just 6 points without bonus points and aside the fee, I really don't see the advantage of having him for the time being, I'd rather stick with Tsimikas who could have attacking returns, and when he doesn't play there is possibility of some on your bench that could filling with positive return. If you're just bringing Kelleher for the time being and able to use wildcard later then it could be a worthy option, I just tend to think their better options to get from Liverpool than their GK.

Why complicate things that much? He can just take Kelleher as second keeper, there is nobody cheaper than him anyway and then play him while Alisson is out amd games are good.

What is the present state of things at Arsenal? Arteta appears to be rotating abit between Raya and Aaron Ramsdale, making it tough for me to have either. I was hoping to have a double Arsenal defence for the upcoming games. At this point, Areola and Westham's defence cannot be trusted.

Raya is my first choice keeper since I got him some weeks ago. I replaced him with Areola due to the reasons you mentioned for the last gw and while Areola can make saves, West ham's overall defence is too porous. He'll be on the sidelines for the foreseeable future. Since taking top spot from Ramsdale, Arsenal have conceded fewer goals across the board.

I was wrong about Westham's defence, and you were right all along. That lost me my rank, and I'm learning the hard way not to trust too much

Very bad to have teams on Europa League or Conference, because they play in thursday and with that it can be surely a one day less to recover in some cases. And also because you dont know in teams like Liverpool if they are gonna put starters or subs in the games until they play.

I did the same, I wanted to keep him but there were too many players sitting out on my squad and I think i'm missing out on some points if I don't make a change anytime soon.

I replaced him with Zinchenko as I still have a bit of extra left we'll see if it's worth the investment.

From what I've gathered so far, goalkeepers are mostly irrelevant.
It seems like a bad choice to go for expensive ones, just look at Areola - he's a part of a horrible WH defence and is still just 13 points behind Alisson who's in top spot, for 1.3 mil less.

I might even ditch Raya - 4.8 for a GK is also kinda expensive. I'd rather take Areola and use that 0.5 mil for a better midfielder/backup striker.
