I am liking Ronaldo for my team a lot. I rate Portugal fixtures much better than England or France. But on the other hand I like Kane, Mbappe and Lukaku as well.

No point in getting Ronaldo if you already have two or more of Kane, Mbappe or Lukaku. You can't fit three premium forwards and have enough money for midfield and defense.

Ronaldo looks like someone you can swap Lukaku or even Kane.

Mbappe though I would keep at all costs.

Not really cheap, not a guaranteed starter (although he will probably be), can't play 90 minutes anymore..
There are better options elsewhere, I was considering him for a while but 2 forwards are I believe the same for all of us and Ronaldo isn't my pick for the 3rd one.

First 11 is super strong but bench is non existent. If it is on purpose by all means go with it but in this format you can make manual changes when player plays and gets 1 or 2 points. So good bench can come very handy.

For instance my bench has Mbappe there to be swapped for some disappointing player in first 2 days.

Yeah intentional for sure, I'd be ride or die with this selection and not rely on my bench at all. But I'm intrigued by your point - why would you leave Mbappe on the bench?

Not at all stressful for me. You just make sure to pick few players that play late so basically someone from Portugal or Belgium. And that allows you to take punts early on. If they work great, if not, out they go for Mbappe, Lukaku and Ronaldo. You need 30 seconds per day to remove a guy that scored badly and that is it.

That was part of the rules I didn't like, I like to set my team and no bother to make anymore changes after deadline but with this rules you have to follow up mid game injuries, team lineups and individual players performance. Change of captain even make it worse.

I've checked her up on Instagram, just in case I miss stadium shows I don't miss insta stories. She's not a match for Kolinda Grabar-Kitarović but it's better than nothing right....

Maybe somebody didn't know but they updated the rules a little, now for every 3 ball recoveries your player will receive 1 point. Interesting fact Akanji makes an average 7.6 recovery by game.


Also, I read that now in real games, only a captain can speak with a referee, and if anyone who likes to argue tries it he must receive instantly a yellow card.

Technically I don't have to worry about the penalty being converted before I can get some points for it, and Let's say, if a player like Mbappe wins a penalty, that means he'd get 2 points for winning the penalty, then whatever point is awarded for a goal scored.

You can change captain once per day and you can make as many subs as you have players that didn't play yet on the bench.

Of course once you make the changes, there is no going back.

Yeah, I wondered if this is the case if he shoots them as well. Makes Mbappe even more attractive, although I still find it incredibly hard to put him in the team.

Thinking of players that have a specialty in winning penalty, Jeremy Doku is the player who comes to mind the most for me.

He did it so many times last season for Pep; even in important games, he can do it many more times for Belgium, but I am not sure he will be the player to take the penalty when Lukaku is on that team.

Not sure, probably. I would suggest entering before the deadline which is when Germany match kicks off.
So far 17 players confirmed but should get to about even 20 by the deadline.

Ah hell, I didn't have time to make adjustments needed to insert Mbappe, so I just left him out -- hope he has a dud first game, heh heh. Feels absolutely mad to leave out any team from France but I had to swap Rabiot out once a couple of my cheapo Scotsmen defenders I realised weren't even in the squad.

Doing all I can to get home for first game!

Well im finally IN, i made my team against time trial, it was in a super hurry, but im confident on my boys, is gonna be very diferent at others fantasys because you can manage the team trought the matchday, i dont know what to think about that because in one hand if you are super into it is a super way, but if you are in a weekend you can crumble.
