We are coming near the restart of it again and I am sure a lot of the yellow cap winners will only love their free bets,I know that feeling from another pool I take part in as in the Champions League pool I am doing really really bad only going down in the standings and the feeling of a free bet is an awesome one.

I as many others do not have a lot of chances to move on to a prize spot but nevertheless I continue playing here with the same enthusiasm as if I were to be in a place that there is a spot prize,that is the beauty of pools after all.

Finally, I got to the personal computer and logged into the account. I want to clarify the accrual of bonuses has already happened? I don't understand where should I see it? Sorry for such questions, I am unfamiliar with the Betnomi interface and may be missing something. I don't see anything in the "Bonuses" section.

As far as I understand, they have not yet been credited to our accounts. The confusion arose due to the fact that the dates for the use of free bets were announced, which seemed to imply that they are already available, but this is not the case yet. Maybe I'm wrong, but that's how I understood it. And as you can see, no one answered my request to show a screenshot where you can see free bets - probably simply because they don't exist yet.

As is forum tradition, raffle winners are typically decided by Bitcoin block hash results. There are even a number of new tools from guys like Bitmover which is provably fair, but I'd like to avoid confusion while keeping an element of prediction so, I'm thinking let's use Bitcoin block #777,777 (estimated 20 days away to give time to people to predict).

We'll ask everyone to pick a number from 00 to 99. First come, first served, so you can't pick a number someone else already has.

And instead of hash, we use the last 2 digits of the miner fee total of block 777,777 to determine the winner. Simple, right?

This tool is good if you are just adding participants in order they join. This tool won't help if participants are able to choose a number.

In this case, where participants may choose a number, the winner is easily verified so I thought a tool wouldn't help.

I am open for suggestions if you need any tool which might help in future giveaways.

I might drop by because crypto (outside the forum) is full of giveaways, and while hash results are the standard for the forum, I've noticed that the regular user (crypto and non crypto) can still get confused by that. So I looked at simpler variables like block fee total but noticed not all explorers (mempool, for example) show the precise amount. I'm actually not even sure if all explorers will show the same precise total but perhaps there are other things to look at.

@bullrun2020bro: Liverpool here so it's really hard to get excited but if there is something to take away, Real and Liverpool have both been clowning around in the league recently. Cept Real still know how to win some games playing like clowns 90% of the game.

That we're the favourites, odds-wise, is a disgrace to bookmakers everywhere, I demand we are the 5/1 underdogs to the Kings of UCL! Out of every competition, likely out of European spots, this is our only chance for redemption, so I'm putting a way too silly amount of money on us.

I am only excited for the resuming of the Champions League and from some bets we can make that in paper look good and easy to be won.For the pool though running in the last places of the standings I am only playing it to enjoy a bit the games and having a chance to get a yellow cap.

I think it is easy to find who will come out on top because not that many games are left and the top guys will be most probably the ones who are already in that range and the maximum it will happen it is them changing places between them,I find it impossible for someone from mid table or below to come out on top simply because the number of games does not permit it.

In Barcelona fans league, however, I am in top 20%, so I guess a lot of Barca people don't know how to pick a winner or gave up watching since we dropped out of it or this pool is extremely competitive

All our bitcointalk pools are extremely competitive. I am always to the top of the pools you get entered when choosing favorite club and having problems here But I guess 99% of those pools are filled with people playing just for fun while we play for BTC prizes and have much bigger incentive to stay serious until the end. Most of those casuals probably drops out and you just climb the rankings.

Looking forward to some CL games, not so much for the pool. Lost any real chances to do something here. Gonna try to shift my focus more to the pools where I am fighting for the top positions which will probably result in me doing even worse in them

I think this phase of the tournament its gonna be really tought, because a lot of teams donest come with a good form.
