I am not entirely happy with this sponsorship, in-fact disappointed.

[1.] Having the money in BTC what makes this pool more adventurous, you don't know when you will get the prize if it worth more in fiat or less so you feel a sense of excitement. On the other hand we are in bitcoin forum. It does not matter what price BTC will have since they sent the money, I don't see any reason not to convert it in BTC instead of keeping it in USDT shitcoin. What will happen if something happen to USDT and the funds goes freeze?

[2.] I am not happy to advertise Rollbit. In the last few months they managed to gain a lot of bad noise from the industry [refer to scam accusation board]. Bad customer service, not being fair enough to their players, promo allows some sort of guaranteed win [odd is as low as 1.01] but when player use the odd they ban or do not pay the players. I am not sure if they ever refunded any bet which was lost on that odd. To me this is a very bad practice and it opens the door for them to scam the players money. And this pool is surely being paid with the money that they scammed.

[3.] What I suspect is, this is a good opportunity for Rollbit to bring some highly influential members of bitcointalk in their favour and validate the poor management, in some cases the wrong reasons to ban their users and justify not to pay the players. I don't want to be a part of this scam.

The scam accusations come up against them regularly and some are very genuine. But they are leveraging their long lasting signature campaign [many people just don't speak against them] and now this pool sponsoring is another way to forcefully justify the wrong reason for them to scam more money from the players. I am pretty sure when more accusations like these will come up many of the users who are accepting this sponsorship will have a biased opinion and will think Rollbit is doing right thing and the players are always wrong.

I have been a part of this pool for many years. It's one of the important part of my forum activity and makes CL for me more exciting. On the other hand considering the history of Rollbit and their scammy shady practice of not paying the players and now this sponsoring of the pool is looking to me one more step to silence the accusations against the players. I deny to be a part of it.

I don't know how other members on the pool feel about it but I feel joining this pool will allow me to support a shady business management team to scam more players. Hence unless we have a plan to remove Rollbit from sponsoring this year CL pool I will step down from the pool.

Let me know if we have any alternative.

See here is the problem, your mind will never see how I and other members who were or are watching Rollbit and in times trying to make things right where it is due. Your mind never see it because you are receiving benefit from it. I understand how you feel, sorry bro but don't make it you and me. If anything here to say then ask Rollbit to solve the issues, be more transparent, get out from the shaddy practice. Even here is another one from recent time.

My concern

As far as I remember I saw some discussion around this 1.01 odd bets. They have it but when someone use it then they think it is being abused. If something is giving so much trouble to the business then isn't it better to remove it?

This is probably not the first time that I've seen someone with this issue.

It seems Rollbit will restrict any account that attempt to do this type of bet. Wagering on their sportsbook will be counted as 3x of your wager so its pretty easy to level up your account with this type of 1.01 bet. I cant really find any fine print regarding this but I guess they dont really want to scare people around by putting that in their T&C and such

Considering that Rollbit gives alot of bonuses, I'd say they are losing pretty deep there if alot of people start doing this therefore they will nuke anyone that tried this

If they do not want players placing those types of bets, then they shouldn't offer them. A person can just as easily lose that bet, so they can ask for a refund if it loses? Obviously a casino is not going to refund your bet if you lose, but saying a player is abusing them for betting x1.01 is kinda crazy IMO. They should either remove those bets or disallow them to count towards promotions. Solves the issue.

I'm quite of the edge with you with the Rollbit thing because you were able to cash out for a year and then with the sudden ban, there might be something curious with your account that made them do that.

Ever since I am trying to warn about rollbit. A site that uses stolen data of a competitor for self promotion cannot be trusted in my eyes.

And there are many. One thing is common between all of these people and me, we are not getting paid to have a biased opinion. We have no prior issue with Rollbit management, nor any friendship with them.

The last line sounds like if today 1xbit or Yobit put down $15k then it's just fine and everyone should join. For some of us money is not everything.

I should have send my fees already, but I'm currently having troubles with my BTC (Made a deposit to SB with a around 10 sat/byte and it took over 5 days with no confirmation, having already exhausted my balance over that period bumping the fee would have seen it cancel because I needed to another deposit, so I sent to Binance instead trying with higher having reached out to SB customer service before the move, however Binance is already here with some BS, should be sorted before the week ends still though, I'm just livid about being stuck in between, coupled with some other RL stress).

When you play on favorites it is the other way around, easier to get winning ticket but you need several wins to cover even one loss.

That's the problem of my past betting, I bet on 1.5 before always under 2x because the illussion is that it is easy to win but like you said, you need to win 2 1.5x to civer 1 loss, so essentially you must win 3 out of 4 such bets to make profit.

We all know how hard that is!

@Bitcoingirl I wear a casino signature so that is something I support. I also fully support another brand, but I would never hijack any thread to voice my support or lack of support. I feel like if we look at ALL the brands, everybody has accusations against them on forum. And they are all very similar, about abuse which the player doesn't really not prove, and the casino has ToS that usually protects them with.

Some even have red trust, but because of their longstanding operations and trust from old gamblers, I trust them.

As far as I can see Rollbit trust is clean. In fact you just sent them a neutral tag, why not red if you distrust them? The link you shared for reference says even the main holydarkness guy doesn't support the flag because there is no evidence that proves either way.

You are against people imposing their opinions on others, but you are doing the same thing now. I checked all the links you provided and all I see are newbies with zero reputation ranting without any concrete evidence, and if you look closely, you will notice that 80% of scam accusations on the scam accusation board are from trolls/cheats and casino manipulators caught in the act of attempting to cheat a legitimate casinos. I don't mind you complaining, but you're doing it in the wrong thread and at the wrong time. If you have a problem with Rollbit, start a scam accusation thread instead of bringing it up here. buwaytress worked his tail off for months to get us this sponsorship deals, only for you to discredit his efforts by digging up Rollbit's unsubstantiated scams links.

I told buwaytress that I'd be focusing on the fantasy premier league this year and maybe consider champions league for next tournament, but now I am thinking about getting my feet wet here for practice.

I'm not expecting to win anything in this pool most teams have completely new squads and beside, Liverpool are not even playing anyway so this year is like walking in a minefield.

I was very bad in the cl pool last year.Because of this I was indecisive about whether to join or not. Besides freeroll would be very good for me if you see it okay because I haven't been in a signature campaign for a long time.

If nothing has changed, then on Superbru there is such an indicator as proximity to the exact score and it distributes players in places even those who have the same number of points. Or do you mean this question regarding the second part of the poll?
