On paper, Manchester City can be seen as the biggest favourite for the Champions League title. In the end, they have a more completed squad at the moment. Haaland's arrival will help them become closer to the title compared to the previous season. But we need to see their performance against the other big favourites as well.

For example, their elimination by Real Madrid last season was really dramatic. It was like they were so close to making it but Real Madrid performed a miracle in the last minutes of the rematch. Guardiola needs to focus on getting his players well-prepared for this kind of matches this time.

The Champions league is one of the toughest league to predict who will win it. Manchester City has the qualities to win the league,  their are other league that are well fit to win it too . So it is something that you can't really tell right now.

both Manchester City and PSG are doing well in this year's Champion's League. I am expecting that both clubs will make it in the next round and no matter whoever they are fixtured to play against. The main thing that will make one of them to drop is if both are featured to play together otherwise both of them will escape the next stage of the Champions League.

Psg ending second means  some other clubs will get it difficult and it will spicy the league.

Last season it was the same for mate, both of whom were always very good in the Champions League. But you know who won the Champions League last season? And for this season, both of them have already qualified for the round of 16 and there is still the possibility of qualifying for the next round thanks to their very attractive performances. But to win the Champions League I still have a little doubt for these two teams because last season they were also very impressive in the Champions League but they didn't get good results.

So to say PSG are stronger seems wrong. If PSG are good, he's not in second place at the end of the group stage. They should be able to end up in number one like Madrid so the possibility of meeting in the first knockout phase.
But to say PSG is weak is also wrong. I think if they're right to meet in the first phase it's very interesting. It could be that it was a semi-final too early. Remember last season Madrid also struggled while playing in France, lucky Madrid were able to reverse the result at the Bernabeu.

Real Madrid and PSG in fact are both good in the Champions League this season because they qualified for the round of 16. What hasn't happened after this is just speculation and prediction, but if it is based on history then Real Madrid is always superior to teams that haven't even won a title.

PSG this season has been good because of the improved relationship between their three strikers namely Messi, Neymar and Mbaeppe. They advanced to the last 16 without defeat, but maybe not as good as Real Madrid's achievement, which managed to become the seeded team. Meanwhile, if these two teams meet in the last 16, then I think something that happened last season will be repeated because of the decisive round at home to Real Madrid as the seeded team.

Exactly that is my point I was comparing only Madrid and PSG in this season only. Therefore I was saying PSG is better. But didn't underestimate the Madrid too. Of course it has good history but in this season PSG is little bit better than Madrid.

To be honest, I am also quite surprised by Napoli's achievements in UCL so far, they will make new history if they can win the UCL trophy this season. Napoli must repeat the golden days of Napoli when Maradona was still playing for Napoli

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's Champions League draw. Liverpool and PSG are both in the 2nd group, so they normally have a strong opponent. Club Brugge is a strange name in the list of teams in group 1. You would like to draw lots against that if you are in group 2. But they didn't just become first in the group and played well. There are some very nice matches imaginable, such as Bayern Munich - PSG. Then PSG could take revenge for the lost cup final a few years ago. I currently estimate PSG slightly higher, but that is mainly due to the vanguard.

I think, PSG will do everything possible within their power to defeat Liverpool 3-1 to improve their points, because Liverpool performance in this season is very poor which will be difficult for them to stop PSG not to experience victory from this match. I believe, PSG will like to prove to their fans that they remain the strongest team in this group by achieving victory from the match with many goals to alert other teams that this UEFA champions league title is for PSG in this season. I don't think, Bayern Munich can stop mighty PSG in this season, because many things has changed positively in PSG.

This is a little picture scenario of the teams that will meet in the last 16 of the Champions League, Real Madrid is the team possibility faced with all runner up team except Leipzig because are in the same group stage before. La Liga only participated by Real Madrid on 16 round after third team La Liga participants have eliminated on group stage from Atletico, Sevilla and Barcelona.

PSG faced difficult choice because the draw scenario for the last 16 of the Champions League has chance to meet all the big teams because it failed to finish in first place, but I as Madrid fan don't want PSG to have to face Real Madrid in the last 16 because it's early to see PSG must be eliminated on 16 round of Champion League.

Liverpool's fans may not be able to accept this performance of Liverpool at present. Because this kind of game is never expected from a team like Liverpool. I think Liverpool is one of the best teams in the English Premier League. But they haven't been able to sustain their best start to the season. But Liverpool is going through a bad time now, I believe Liverpool will turn around again very soon. And I believe they will come back strong in the UEFA Champions League.

It must be admitted that Liverpool performance is far from consistent this season and that is one thing that must be addressed by Jurgen Kloop in the next round of the Champions League. Nunez hasn't been all that bad, he has scored a couple of goals and assisted some too, and if you judge his contribution with the minutes he has been restricted too, you'd understand that he has been somewhat impressive, though when i watch him i see that he still has a lot of work to do in order to become a better player, his decision making sometimes is quite poor. Liverpool aren't strong favorites because the overall team isn't playing at their best and not because of any player in particular.

Having said that, Napoli will be that smaller team that the big teams will be hoping to avoid, not that they cannot defeat them, but because it could be tricky, and absolutely anything can happen, i get this feeling that Napoli are going to provide an upset in this season's CL, not that they'd win it, of course they can't, but they might just eliminate a team that nobody gave them a chance against.

You don't say Nunez hasn't contributed anything to Liverpool team. We do not deny the fact that Nunez has not fully adapted to Liverpool team. He still has to improve in his finishing and also stop being selfish. But we cannot say that he has contributed nothing to the Liverpool team. He has scored some goals and has some impact in the team.

If you want to know that Nunez is trying in Liverpool, stop comparing him to Haaland and Mane.

With an unstable performance plus many players who were absent due to injury, Liverpool had to desperately play their match in the group phase of this competition. fortunately, Liverpool's opponent in the Champions League group stage was not too tough.  only Napoli, who gave them a surprise at the start of this competition. however, if Klopp can't rebuild his squad's performance back to its true form. I doubt Liverpool can advance to the next round with such an unstable performance.

the reason is, there are many who will become more solid and tough opponents in the round of 16 later. however, as you said.  having a break of two months will bring changes for the better for them, they can recover the mentality and fatigue that has been a barrier. even so, after all there is a team that has a higher probability of being favorites in this competition.

Of course their appearance in the Premier League will be one of the calculations to see whether or not Liverpool are worthy of being the strongest candidate to win the title. Of the 16 teams that qualified for the round of 16, some of which were considered surprise teams, for example Porto, Club Brugge, Eintracht Frankfurt, RB Leipzig and Benfica, these are just some examples I would like to convey, but even though they are considered dark horses in the League Champions, but no one can guarantee how they will play in the last 16.

Furthermore, the Favorites as you mentioned, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, PSG and Manchester City, also can't necessarily make a difference for this season in the Champions League, because no one club easily gets past the challenges in the round of 16. We think that only Real Madrid has the mentality of being a champion, while others still have the same chance, even though Real Madrid are not necessarily able to retain the title this season.
