Well , a lot of unexpected events happened in champions league .. remember barcelona who lost 4-0 at the first leg but then get through the next round after beating psg 6-1 making the aggregate 6-5 , crazy indeed football especially a competition like champions league often provide such things.

Tottenham , chelsea , psg and brugge who lost at the first leg could still do more at the second leg , remember just remember.

Tbh i wouldn't say Real Madrid are struggling all that much, yes they have fallen a little bit below Barcelona, but they are still very much in contention to win the league title in Spain, the advantage Barcelona has over them is very much recoverable, and thus i think they can bounce back. But in Liverpool's situation, there is no chance of them winning the EPL or even qualifying for the CL through finishing in one of the top four positions, thus they must win the CL this season if they want to play in the CL next season.

Having said that, Liverpool have a very slim chance of winning the CL, i don't even think they would get past Real Madrid in the RO16, with the way Liverpool are playing, it looks like it is going to be pretty easy for Real Madrid to pick them apart; but the good news for Klopp is that some of his injured players are returning back to fitness, thus they might give them a boost and actually give Ancelotti's boys a good run for their money.

I didn't expect such a performance from Chelsea, I must say they surprised me. The first half was a different game and the second half was different. Both teams were equal in the first half and Chelsea dominated the second half. But they struggled to score goals. Still, this performance gave some fans hope for the team to recover.
There is not much to say about the Club Brugge - Benfica match. The difference in performance and quality between the two teams is obvious. Benfica would have won comfortably even if it was away. This result didn't surprise me either. They could have scored more goals.

It was a very entertaining game between Chelsea and Dortmund although it didn't reflect much on the scoreline but I enjoyed the game. Chelsea played well but couldn't get goals, three games in a row with just two goals recorded so far, I think Potter needs to work on his attacking and finishing strategy.

There's no way Chelsea are getting back to scoring goals without a proper striker playing up front.
Kai Havertz is just too poor in that role. I admit they were unlucky at some points in the game but they haven't really improved as a team. It's a shame Enzo Fernandez couldn't match Adeyemi's pace for the goal. All he had to do was not lose his man but then he was outclassed there. It will be a difficult job coming back from this loss to advance and they have their job cut out for them. In general, game well played, everyone played well. From Hakim to Kepa all showed quality. They deserved a win but this is football and sometimes luck is required.

This seems to be the major problem now, the team has been showing good improvements defensively and in the midfield but finishing has been the point were the team is really lacking. IMO I think Fofana who is a striker should be played ahead of Kai Havertz in the attacking position for Chelsea and see how productive that could be.
