LOL.. Georgia has to be one of the weakest teams in this tournament. The fact that Turkey is struggling against them shows how weak are they right now. For sure Turkey is expected to win Georgia, I have looked at the Georgia team they don't look like a threat at all to Turkey. Unless the surprise that usually comes with football happen, if not Goergia shouldn't pose a threat to Turkey. This group is somehow a difficult group with 3 strong teams that are battling for two slots. We all know that Portugal will be among the two teams that are expected to qualify from this group, so this is the opportunity that Turkey has and they have to cease if they want to stand a chance of qualifying from the group.

Base on my prediction, Portugal will win Czechia today and if Turkey should win they will have same points with Portugal. If Turkey draw or lose this game then they are not going to qualify, because Czechia are going to be fighting to get their first win in their second leg irrespective of the team they are going to play next. So Turkey should fight for a win here because if they meet Portugal in their next game they are definitely going to lose. They should use this opportunity and win with a good goal margin, because it might come handy for them when it's time to determine who will follow Portugal and qualify from the group.

from the several matches that have been played this week, to be honest the match between Turkey and Georgia is the most exciting match because both teams attacked each other throughout the match, although indeed Turkey was able to dominate at the beginning of the first half and made the Georgian defense have to work hard enough to prevent their goal from conceding more, but they were able to bounce back after managing to equalize the score to 1-1 and  Georgia turned to dominate over Turkey and make Turkey also have to work hard towards the end of the first half.

In the second half, of course, the intensity of the game of the two teams increased and we can see how long-range kicks continue to be launched by Turkish players, as well as Georgia who often managed to get into the Turkish penalty box, the two teams actually did get a draw after the impressive and effective play, but indeed the beautiful long-range goal from Arda Guler made Turkey even more excited and finally the solo run goal from Akturkoglu in The end of the match made Turkey manage to win 3-1 over Georgia today.

Georgia played very well and if not for the individual skill of Arda Guler, the score would have been at least equal, moreover, at the end of the match Georgia missed 2 chances and could have equalized the score, but Georgia was very unlucky. It is a very funny six minutes extra time to the end the match, as Georgia was pressuring Turkey to equalize the goal which they missed quite some good opportunities. This is because they had a clean ball on target but it hit the goal post and came out. This gave Giorgi Mamardashvili the confidence that him and his men can equalize the goal to the point that he left his goal post empty and went into his opponent box for a header when they had a corner kick multiple time. Unfortunately, for him the last corner kick was punch the ball out of his box. Samet Akaydin gained possession of the ball and made a counter and what an empty post for Akturkoglu as he was left with an empty net and quickly he played the ball into the goal post to seal up the victory for his club 3-1.

So if Portugal dont win today, it would be a big surprise. Nuno Mendes has had two misses so far, but apart from that there hasnt really been a good chance to score, I hope that changes soon.

Türkiye won 3-1 and then they rose to first place in the group. It was not an easy match for Turkey. Georgia was a very challenging team and they made it difficult in the match. I liked the tempo of the match very much, both teams were willing.

We watched a great goal from Arda Güler, he is one of the rare players who can use his left foot so well, no matter how young he is. Turkey's last goal came in the last seconds with Kerem Aktürk's son. While Georgia wanted a draw, they left the goal empty and Kerem took the finishing shot before the goalkeepers and players arrived. Of course, it was a risk that had to be taken for Georgia, but they could not find what they were looking for.

Hehehehe, it's too much ammunition the Portuguese side have got lined up for Czech because they are not really worth it. The game I'm seeing right now is one sided as is expected but it will really be a shame if they can't get enough goals because the Czech side are playing uncoordinated football, leaving their defense open and if you didn't know better, you'd think they've never had a taste of this kind of competition before with how they are playing like they are inexperienced.
 I really don't understand why Roberto Martinez has to start Ronaldo for Pete's sake because the dude is running on fumes and not performing as he should, coupled with the fact that he's being booed by fans, it could cause him to get distracted and affect the overall team display.

It is a pity that with all the pressure from Portugal on Czech players, Portugal was unable to use most of their opportunities wisely by scoring at least one goal. I think old age is really telling on Ronaldo because he is missing some good opportunities that he should have converted to a goal.

The only opportunity that Czech had, they were able to utilize it after netted the post with a powerful strike to the top right side of the post. The goal was scored by Brovod on the 62nd minutes. Due to excessive pressure from the Portuguese, their attackers were able to pressure and run through their opponents defense  which led to an own goal by Hranáč on the 69th minutes to balance the scoreline as 1-1.

Portugal continues pressuring Czech as usual, maybe they will be able to win the match or it will be the other way round.
