The way Germany and Spain played really made for a good opening match. Especially Germany, who immediately feasted on goals in their first match at Euro 2024 by scoring 5 goals against Scotland. But Spain was no less surprising because they managed to make Croatia concede 3 goals in that match. Even though Croatia also built attacks and dominated the match very well. Czech tried their best, and I never expected their performance to be of a high stand that they almost draw the match. Turkey played to beautiful game yesterday by withstanding pressure from Georgia from the last quarter of the match till the last minute in which they took advantage of Georgia eagerness to equalize the second goal and left the back of their defense open, and scored their third goal.

It was an interesting game Czech Republic really impressed me despite losing at the end they pushed Portugal to the limit at at first i thought Portugal will lose because after conceding first and because of the way Czech Republic approached the game. Their tactics was on point and it was almost impossible to for Portugal to penetrate the defensive strategy they couldn’t keep it till the end. Portugal triumphed but i wasn’t so happy because Ronaldo didn’t score, i wanted him to score but i know he will score against their next opponent.

Anyway, Portugal was continuously and aggressively attacking the Czech, and it saddens me to see the second goal ruled out due to Cristiano Ronaldo's offside. The game is highly appealing; in brief, Portugal has always shown very nice games, and get their victory over czech.

Portugal won but the formation adopted by Portugal’s coach made it difficult to penetrate their defense he was supposed to adopt aa 3 men attack formation rather than 2 but results is all that mattered because in the end they won. The Last changes made the difference when he brought in Neto and Concencao who both had a hand in the last goal to win the match.

I don't really think Germany will find it easy to beat Hungary as they did with Scotland. Granted, Hungary lost woefully to Switzerland in their first game but they may surprisingly turn the events around in their favor. According to the odds, they are the under dogs and in this tournament, we've seen shocking results from under dogs and maybe tonight can end in the favor of Hungary.
 Germany are top of their group, followed by Switzerland and then Hungary before Scotland and the hosts won't want to a loss but the visitors can get their acts right as well as their confidence and who knows get a point or three from Germany. Football is an unpredictable sport, which means anything can happen. Germany may get a win but I feel it will be difficult and well fought.

I got really happy with Turkey's win over Georgia yesterday. A 3-1 win helped us become the leader of the group after the 1st round as well.    I'm grateful for Czechia about not losing easily as a result.

However as for the way we performed, I liked only our attacking effort. We have really amazing talents and especially the first 2 goals were superb! As for our defense... It was just terrible.    We were giving so many opportunities. If we defend Portugal in the same way we will probably lose. Montella should try some different strategies in the defense area next time.

For the past 5 years the current German squad that I have witnessed in this euro is more stable than the ones that have been. Not only stable, they are more coordinated and thick bond. This means that the aura of the German machines is gradually coming back. One thing we should know, the countries that have big names are actually the ones suffering because they've failed to thrashed their opponents, besides every player takes their performance really serious because winning is prioritized over other attributes. Germany is more extensive and elite and winning odds belongs to them. We've come acroosed the lineup but we should also not jump into conclusions about the winning ratio because there are surprising outcome that can possible be triggered at the end of the game.
