Bitcoin can become global currency in future but not sure what is the exact scenario at a moment as I really think that bitcoin can be a currency of lifetime.
Sometimes I have thoughts about that too. This currency can really dominate the online world. But will it be really forever. What if there are new ones that popped up. Or someone did something to make it fall. |

after bitcoin already established his popularity more and more country will adopt it as i live in the third world country we also have our own bitcoin trade in our own fiat, I think bitcoin will keep rising up because of those company inside and outside crypto world already embracing bitcoin trade and payments. the more establishment use the process the more popularity and the more needs will come on our way, bitcoin will stand stood in the long run. thanks I've been able to know it before hand.

Bitcoin is already global currency, but it is not same like a fiat currency, Bitcoin is a good and popular currency, no doubt, but we can't say that Bitcoin and fiat currency are equal, we can't use bitcoin in global level. |

trust me bitcoin is very hard to use it without internet conection so bitcoin can't survive in offline world like in small village . We don't need everybody to adopt, at least a majority of the population all over the world will be a good news for bitcoins, nowadays, people are using internet already so we are going digital in the future. |

I'm not sure I would class some of those countries as 'major' ... but there is a general sense now that bitcoins are leaving the USA, and at an accelerating rate.
Bitcoin is International currency and its almost Global currency too,It was suffered in USA and some others country there was cases against of this currency but can't stop from growth and become a digital money.So it is almost the way of Global Currency. |

I don't think it's a huge number of people yet and they aren't necessarily using it as a currency yet.
I believe majority of the world has already use bitcoins but as to the volume of users I cannot estimate now. The good thing is the demand of bitcoins is increasing as evidence by its current price today that has substantially increase also. In the future it will become a global currency. I dont get it. Why not global now. Simple example. I go to Iraq now. I go online then I can access it. I can buy also or sell it. So it is global right? Globally online. You just need internet. |

It would be nice of course if that is possible and you also can see now already that there are now more people that is using it and that there are also more stores that is accepting it. But you have to also know that there will be a lot of people that must have to know to use Bitcoin and get to know about it.

I think everyone on this thread missing very important point for reserve currencies of the world. Every reserve currency must be protected/supported by military. The British pound (GBP) supported by UK army, USD now backed by military and the Yuan will be supported by Chinese military once it become a reserve currency of the world.
So, BTC has no chance to become a world reserve currency. It is a fair currency trying to survive in this weapon backed world.

I think everyone on this thread missing very important point for reserve currencies of the world. Every reserve currency must be protected/supported by military. The British pound (GBP) supported by UK army, USD now backed by military and the Yuan will be supported by Chinese military once it become a reserve currency of the world.
So, BTC has no chance to become a world reserve currency. It is a fair currency trying to survive in this weapon backed world.
