Unfortunately, round 1 questions were meant for division 3 players as a way to get players to fill the last 8 places through a knockout for the round of 32...

And yes you had a good performance in Round 1 against your opponent but this didn't count as your game week starts in Round 2 officially.

Be careful with Tottenham, these boys are up to no good, but looking at the table, they sit in fourth place with an extra game played..which doesn't paint a good picture as Newcastle and Manchester United both have a game in hand and sit above them... to avoid the gap from widening when these two play and win, Spurs have no choice but to win their match to stay close and hope for the best.

I thought Real Madrid is not a candidate for the CL title this season. Now I changed my mind.

As long as Benzema, and to a degree, Vinicius, are in that squad, and hell, even Modric, they will always be a CL candidate. It's just their playground. Learn this quickly heh.

No I totally agree and Vinicius is an integral part of their success strategy. He sometimes comes across as a bit too bubbly, but it also is required to some degree. He definitely adds speed to the game while Modric and Kroos are theclock work guys.

What I did not expect is Benzema's comeback performance. After he had missed the World Cup and given his age (he turned 35), I didn't see him coming back into shape as he is now. He would have left a gap and that was one factor I thought could be bad for Real Madrid. This is pretty much the Real Madrid we have seen last season in the Champions League.

If you see how Lewandowski is doing now, that is what I kind of expected from Benzema. Injury, comeback and not perform that well. Not too bad either, but really not like this!

It is hard to rate the tiebreaker question so we rated it only when needed - in 3 games in total. I marked it now - so it's easier to see.

The same method will be used in the 2nd Cup round as well - last question will be rated only if there is a draw between you and your opponent after the first 5 questions.

I don't think you should judge by the division anybody some got there by showing interest and early some other by being very active in the gambling section, the guy in the top spot in the division 1 isn't even super recognized forum member, so just play your part and don't undermine your self a couple, if not most of these question are mere dice tossing.

Even though Slissy isn't active on the forum he is quite active on clubtalk. And as he is an expert about betting he was one of my 3 favourites at the beginning of the season. (Harkorede, CasperBGD, Slissy)

Phew, Tottenham got the hard win against Brighton, after the first half I surely thought it'll end in a draw but they actually got a goal late in the second half, now I just need Man City to claim my second point in a row.  

I don't trust my prediction on the Juventus question but it'd be impressive if I hit it somehow though as I expect Juventus to pull away with a win.

I didn't really have an idea about UFC before I started this competition with you guys, but I did some good research and now I am one of the few who went for a knockout win. But I must say I saw the fight and it was quite a surprising knockout right? Adesanya was about to be knocked out himself! I thought OK that's it, I lost that one and then boom! But his punch didn't even look that hard at first, but I think that only watching that punch doesn't give one an idea of how hard those punches actually hit. Pereira almost fell like a chopped tree.

I searched the thread a little, but I can't find what is the prize for the winner of the cup? Is it only for prestige or is there some kind of a reward?
