I'm not entirely happy with LR communication
Well yes. That is 100% my point.
It was e-mailed. Are you seriously blaming gmail's false positive on Leaserig?
That's spam. Just because it happens to be legitimate, it still appears to be spam
Yes, it's a false positive, but, it's really easy to see WHY it's a false positive:
http://imgur.com/8gpO4FvSee all those ones that came through WITHOUT being marked as spam? Let's investigate why:
In the one marked as spam:
Received-SPF: softfail (google.com: domain of transitioning admin@leaserig.net does not designate 74.125.82.195 as permitted sender) client-ip=74.125.82.195;
Authentication-Results: mx.google.com;
spf=softfail (google.com: domain of transitioning admin@leaserig.net does not designate 74.125.82.195 as permitted sender) smtp.mail=admin@leaserig.net
Well. That's easy. The leaserig.net domain has SPF, and when the email was sent out, it was sent out from a non-approved sender. So, actually, it's not a false positive at all.
The normal emails come via sendgrid.me, which has never been marked as spam.
Lets not get into the technical issues here - I don't care
why it was marked as spam, because I'm pretty flexible. I'm on IRC, I browse the forums, and I - eventually - figure out what's going on.
It's just that Mav needs to stop blaming 'lack of communication' on technical issues. Here's three things I can think of straight away to fix this:
1. On the 'providers' page, have a summary of the last three announcements
2. Every time a rig is hired, or an email is sent out for any reason, put any planned outages in there
3. Send out an email for every change.
Even if -two- don't work, for whatever reason, the other one will, and then everyone will know what's going on.
