Yes, they can't be blamed for inviting us to continue gambling, but everything will depend on the decision we take. And if we finally decide not to gamble because we feel we've had enough gambling, they can't do anything other than let us rest. A person's physical endurance will definitely be different and we cannot force ourselves when we feel tired or have had enough gambling so we should stop gambling and watch our friends gamble. If we really have good self-control, we won't be affected by the fun our friends get, especially when we really need a break. It's like you are exercising and suddenly you want to rest and you immediately stop. Your friends can still invite you to play, but will you continue playing when you are physically very tired? I have never been addicted to gambling but i have to agree that gambling addiction is one that is very hard to control once the urge comes, i know this because i used to have a friend who was so addicted to gambling, and each time we get talking, and i advise him to try and cut down on his gambling habit, or stop it completely, he would agree and later on move on to keep gambling even Worster than before.

So one day, when he had gambled away all of his salary for the month while the month was still very young, he came to me and asked me to borrow him some money, but i refused knowing fully well he did nothing good with the salary we both collected like a week ago, aside gambling, i told him i cant lend him any money since i am very sure that he has gambled away all his salary, he started begging me and later on, i asked him why can't he just stop gambling since he can see that gambling is not helping him financially, he then opened up to me that several a times he has tried to stop, but he only succeeded not to gamble when he is completely broke, but whenever money enters his hand, he will be feeling so restless until he steps out and engage himself in a gambling activity.

He was battling with this addiction until i traveled out and we were no longer communicating, really hope he is free from that addiction by now, since it's been several years i haven't spoken with him, though we are friends on Facebook and i constantly see his posts from time to time.

I don't understand what you mean by the lucky gambler you mention!! Do you think that all gamblers are unlucky because of their gambling activities, becoming a gambling addict is a nightmare for all gamblers but usually it happens to them because of their failure in managing their gambling activities and also their finances, and some gambling addicts are also someone who is experiencing frustrating, there are many reasons why someone becomes a gambling addict so we cannot say they are not lucky, everyone has the potential to become a gambling addict, so always use a fully conscious mind when gambling.

If you focus on the present, right now, meditate, and think about what you want to achieve in life, plan, etc, you will probably realize that most gamblers are probably spending way more time and money than they think.

So, if you have specific goals in mind, you will start changing your behavior so that you get closer to them.

Good point, that is for those who have a healthy mindset about how to take care of their gambling activities, they will use those mistakes or those losses to prevent things from repeating and use it as well as basis when dealing with their gambling sessions, I guess there are so many differences in terms of taking things inside gambling.
