The backup strategy was not going well like what it's planned. Manchester city lack of good attacking midfielders. The creativity of midfielders dropped so hard caused by city was losing some important players. There was still rodri but it's likely that if manchester city will not be playing like last season caused by the club was missing de bruyne. Rodri is good, but the club needs someone who can play as good as de bruyne. There has been speculation that Pep is considering purchasing Dani Olmo from Leipzig as a replacement for De Bruyne, however, I personally believe that this plan is quite far from becoming a reality.

I think PSG still favorite team for first standings position finish and Newcastle United will finish on second place under PSG position. Milan still in poor performance in Champion, although not beaten yet but two matches draw in a row make difficult position lead to knock out round due PSG have winning one match and lead 1 point from Milan.

Lets waiting with next match result between PSG vs Milan, if fail with three points achievement I think Milan opportunity qualify to knock out round almost close exactly if Newcastle United winning over Dortmund.

I agree that it is going to be possible for them but not going to be easy at all. I mean think about it this way, we are talking about a situation where we can see Milan having trouble behind Newcastle and PSG as well, which wouldn't be unlikely.

But, the worst case is they will go back down to Europa and they should be fine there, depending on their draw luck they could go all the way to finals as well. It is not easy to do that but it is also not that hard for a team their talent level as well. Unless they face some team that is much better like Liverpool of course. Milan should instead focus on the league, they should be able to win the title this season if they put their mind into it, and they are doing fine, so it should be possible.

The important point is what they will do against the biggest title contenders. Especially against Manchester City and Bayern Munich I mean. If they manage to show a strong team performance with the help of their main scorer Bellingham too then I wouldn't be surprised to see Real Madrid adding another CL title to their collection.  

Hmm, this is just your imagination, and you centered it only on the teams you think can win the title, not considering teams like Arsenal that are in form and have the ability to defeat any team this season because of the talented young players in their squad. Nevertheless, it's your prediction, but remember that there are teams like Barcelona, Inter Milan, and others that are also capable of winning this league.

I really like Arsenal as well. The progress they have made so far is just marvelous. They are even considered as the 4th biggest contender for the Champions League title by bookies now. However I see one thing in Arsenal that could create a big problem for them when they face bigger challenges in the tournament. That thing is the lack of experienced players in the squad. I mean of course some of their young players have also gained a lot of experience to even lead the team - like Odegaard who is the new captain.

But I think they needed players such as Xhaka as well. They parted ways with him as well in the summer and now they are a very young team. Let's see how far they can make it like this.
