The Premier League will most likely get 1 additional spot for the Champions League next season, depending on the achievements of the English clubs in all European competitions this season.
So the 5th position in the league shall join in the Champions League and the 6th position in the Europa League.
Manutd still has a big chance to take part in European competitions, because England has 5 clubs competing in all European competitions now.

With the new format, it will indeed be very possible if the EPL team does that it's just that for now I see is what if in the end there are new format rules when adding Champions League slots but this season Liverpool who are in competition in the EPL for the championship race (systematically in the top 4) and they become champions in the Europa Legaue because they are now competing in the quarter-finals and the big chance of winning is still very much there for now.

When the automatic slot for the Europa League champion (if Liverpool wins) whether there will indeed be additions from other clubs or not because in the end we can see it even become 6 slots if the new rules are 5 EPL clusters in the Champions League as well as the Europa League champion who is automatically included in the Champions League the following season.

Currently there are 5 clubs from the Premier League still competing in all European competitions, while there are only 3 from Bundesliga.

UEFA rules only allow a maximum of 5 clubs from each country to compete in the Champions League, but these rules do not apply if,
For example: Mancity won the Champions League but their position in the league at the end of the season was ranked 7th (1st to 5th UCL and 6th EL),
then there will be 6 representatives from the Premier League to join the Champions League next season including Mancity.
And if Mancity win the Champions League, and they finish in the top 5 (league) = England representatives will still be 5.

And if Liverpool wins the Europa League, it will be considered the same as the Mancity case above.
Because Liverpool will almost certainly be in the top 4 in the league at the end of the season.
So, it is still possible for 7 clubs from England to take part in the Champions League if Mancity wins UCL, Liverpool wins EL and both of the teams are not ranked in the top 5 (league)

Yeah I have doubts about how capable De Zerbi would be about managing a much bigger team in the Premier League. He is shown as a candidate for Liverpool's next manager at the same time. However Brighton are the first team he is managing in this league now. Before this job the biggest team he managed was Shakhtar Donetsk.

Manchester United and Liverpool both had better be diligent about their next choices to not regret for that later on. There should definitely be better choices than De Zerbi for these teams as well.

I believe Zerbi is capable  enoughof handling the big club if he can lead Brighton to the top four, but if they finish even lower than they did last season, and he is not worth signing as a new coach by the big club. I'd rather not call him an overrated coach.
I must be honest with my opinion, but let us wait until the end of the season to see how well he is performing at the club right now. I'm thinking that Liverpool should look for someone who can help the club win a lot of trophies.
Zerbi's history of winning prestigious trophies remains zero. I'd rather take Mourinho or Conte than him.

It would be far better for United to sign Allegri or Conte, and the club could also bring back Mourinho, who has previously won the Europa League.
De zerbi is a ridiculous choice that was also overrated. I never thought he had accomplished anything great, and all of the positive comments about him were completely out of proportion.

It is difficult for a coach to be able to maintain or make a team even better for a team as big as Liverpool.
For example, Manchester United, which was promoted by Alex Furguson, has so far not been able to bring the team back to its previous performance even though they have had to change coaches a lot.
So it is also possible for Liverpool to do that, I am quite pessimistic that there will be a coach who will be able to make Liverpool maintain performance stability or be better than this season for the first season of coaching.

Xabi Alonso has confirmed that he will stay with Leverkusen next season, which means Liverpool must hire another coach.
De Zerbi is a good coach, but I doubt he can handle a top team, because that hasn't been proven.

We are talking about the possibility of the Premier League to have an extra quota for the Champions League next season. But still the interesting part is the total number of CL titles achieve by English teams is like the same as Real Madrid's winning number. 

This shows that PL teams aren't the most successful ones despite playing in the most prestigious European league according to statistics. I don't know this additional quota would help change this data for their advantage either. But one thing is sure that they will be more dominant in numbers in the group stage compared to other European leagues in this case. There is nothing guaranteed yet though. Let's see if they can earn this first.

Yep apart from Mancity, Aston also still has to face Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and Brighton at home. And it looks like they might lose many points from these matches.
Meanwhile for Tottenham, they also still have to play against Chelsea, Mancity, Newcastle, Arsenal and Liverpool.
Manutd clearly still has a chance to be in the top 4 of the league at the end of this season, as long they dont waste any more points against relatively weaker teams.

United also still have tough games against Newcastle, Chelsea, Liverpool and Arsenal. Tottenham still has 1 match left against City and United will only face mediocre teams. I think United will have to work hard if they want to get fourth place. They are 6 points behind Tottenham and 9 points behind Aston Villa. They also still have some tough games ahead. I think position 4 will be a competition between Tottenham and Aston Villa. United's chances are very small. It looks like they will not play in international competitions next season.

But united's chance to qualify for the UCL is getting even bigger since EPL got additional spot to participate in the UCL next season. Let's say that if there will be around 5 candidates to be eligible for the UCL next season only from premier league. It means that if manchester united has greater chance to make it happen.
United will be able to pass all of those fixtures. I see that Chelsea and Newcastle are not even better compared to Manchester United. I meant if it's not yet clear which league will get it. I saw that the EPL was qualifying for the additional spot for UCL, but it changed again.
I can't also predict before we see the final result how many points were acquired by any European competitions. Manchester united's chance will be slightly higher to qualify for UCL if EPL will get additional spot.

The premier league is not as tough as many of the fans believe it to be. Before Pep and Klopp, the premier league was filled with teams of the same level and that's why it looked very competitive.
When Pep came he exposed the league a lot. Many people may argue with this but the fact is the fact. This is Pep's 8th season in the EPL and in those 7 years his team has won the EPL 5 times, losing it only twice and he still has a chance of winning it again this season.
We can all see that the moment a manager knows what he's doing he owns the league. The premier league is not all that, it just has a better PR. I can agree that it's a better-managed league too and they have more money, that's why you can see teams going from teams like Milan to Nottingham Forest, or from Sevilla to Newcastle.

The thing is most people that watch the EPL don't watch other leagues, so they run with the narrative that the EPL is the best league in the world. The two biggest teams in the world are Real Madrid and Barcelona, not English teams.

The EPL is known for it's "Big 6", but is there really a Big 6 though?

I don't sure Premier League will have an extra quota for Champion League next season, although become more interested league the quota for UCL depend on their teams performance in champion league.
What for premier league become most compete league if their participants easily eliminated in group phase such as Manchester United and Newcastle United performance in this season.
I think its ideal with four teams participants or quota for premier league team qualify to champion league, if the teams participants has inconsistency performance get chance to reduce four teams quota become three teams in the future regarding Serie A has moment with three participants having playing in Champion League.

Your comment made me laugh hard this night for saying you are tired of laying complains to their verified social media accounts but on a more serious note, this game against Burnley is one of the worst game of Chelsea because imagine 10 men Burnley giving Chelsea a hard time it's really so funny I must say. I don't think Pochettino can handle Chelsea anymore they really need a new coach to take over the managerial role if things can work in a different perspective for the club because watching them play today is really devastating.

What ever formation used by the team wouldn't matter a lot. Don't you see the gameplay of chelsea? it has no pattern at all and chelsea was randomly playing to attack its opponent which is also only playing with 10 players. The stupid things showed by chelsea when it was always conceded goals several minutes after the blues was scoring in this game.
Perhaps, chelsea was losing all of their focus and this is also the reason why the club played like a shitty club. To be honest, this stupid mistake can't be tolerated. Things were also even worse when stupid pochettino once again did the same mistake by allowing chalobach to enter the game.

It was also making the club concede another goal, which is the worst thing that I have ever seen. It seemed to me that if Chelsea defenders are so poor at dueling in the air, things are going even worse for Chelsea when it was trying so hard to win the game but failed.
There's nothing good in the way chelsea's playing the game. It's only showing another degrade which was also very bad for the club. The team is horrible, the coach is horrible, everything in chelsea is terrible to watch.

There is no doubt that supporters showed their disappointment by booing Poch and his players at the end of the game. Chelsea could not beat 10-man Burnley, which is a shame. Although we know the depth of the Manchester City squad is very good but still it can greatly interfere with their performance when the core players cannot be played and that could be a problem that occurs in tomorrow's match.

de zerbi? he will only make liverpool look like a joke, i'm not at all confident in his ability to handle a team like liverpool, what liverpool needs to replace jurgen klopp is someone who is friendly and understands every characteristic of the players he trains and nagelsmann seems to be a good fit, but it's spreading there are rumors that nagelsmann is taking a break from coaching, he hasn't announced how long but i quite like the way he coaches bayern, i imagine he will be quite successful at liverpool.

Truly, it was disappointing to watch Chelsea settle for a draw at home to a mediocre Burnley side even worse, this "mediocre" team had a red card since the first half and they couldn't take advantage of it to give the win to their fans at home. It's just a terrible performance by Pochettino's boys and they have had many of such this season so its nothing new. To think Pochettino brought in new guys to strengthen the squad during the last transfer window. At this point, I'm sure Y'all will agree with me that Chelsea needs a new coach. They have to keep switching till they get the right now.
