Chelsea begin their champions league campaign with a defeat, not how they wanted it but they could do much today. Enzo maresca came with the game plan he used against PSG just that it didn’t work today, and it Cost them the game. Now they play this weekend against Manchester United.

This weekend  when Chelsea take on Manchester United they would both want to win because they both have lost  and really need a bounce back, Ruben Amorim would want to win this game so he can get some relief about his job while Chelsea desperately need a win to show the world they are stage world champions.

I think it going to be a match with end to end attack, so it will be more competitive, I expect goals in this match let hope to a very exciting game.

With the worth of Chelsea Squads,I was expecting to see a very competitive game,a strong fight from Chelsea against Bayern Munich but none of that actually happens. It was as if Chelsea players weren't prepared to face Bayern Munich. Everyone thought Chelsea would defeat Bayern Munich this same way they defeated PSG at the club world cup but it didn't work. Chelsea will be facing Manchester United in old Trafford,this is another match  Enzo Maresca should win to impress Chelsea supporters and to balance the scale for the Bayern Munich defeat. Chelsea will be transferring their aggression on Manchester United, Chelsea will defeat Manchester United with a large margin.

Chelsea beating Manchester United is definitely not certain as they still have a 50-50 chance for the reason that Manchester United had more time to prepare for the game than Chelsea who will be returning from Munich and would have to start preparing too. I don't know why you thought Chelsea was supposed to beat Bayern Munich at the first place, with Olise, Gnabry, Diaz and Harry kane at the forefront. The results would have little or no effect on Manchester United and if Manchester United losses, it's all their usual way. I believe it would only be a one goal margin for the game or a draw.

I would always say that football still remains football. As one who has involved in gambling several times previously, I have predicted match with all certainty but it failed and turned the other way round. My point here is this, sitting and concluding that Chelsea would win Beyern Munich is just like dreaming, because it's very difficult to predict correctly. So the result of that match is just outcome of football and nothing more to it. When Arsenal won Real Madrid last season in the champions league home & away, everyone almost thought that they would go on to win PSG and also move to the finals, but we saw how they lost home and away to that same PSG.

So, football will always be football. Chelsea would do there best to win against Manchester United this weekend, and the same goes to Manchester United too, they would do there best to ensure they also win Chelsea. It's an open competition and every team needs the whole 3 points. Am expecting a tough game and fight from both teams. At the end, the better team wins or they share the points.

Just thinking if Manchester United are to sack Amorim, which other manager will be willing to take up the job. Personally, I don't think a seasoned manager would take the job as it'd put a dent on his CV.
The club should back Amorim and support him fully but my fear is the players also are losing confidence in his abilities.

I don't think Manchester United is that capable at the moment because I know their performance and strength very well, which is not yet able to dominate Amorim. This is a wrong idea. If an experienced player improves and strengthens this team, it will have a very good impact on his CV, but in the beginning he will hear some things that a coach with a weak team should not have. If that coach is good and hardworking enough, Manchester United will reach a good point. Not everyone can say anything, but the club is with him, but he will help him to some extent, after that Amorim and his players will have to succeed in it themselves.

Facing the reality here is that Chelsea was off limit to Bayern Munich form, the English side was kind of luck to have bottled only 3 goals with a 1 goal reply because Bayern Munich players were just all over the field with the ball. Sanchez saves helped in reducing the goals deficit which would have been more than 3 goals.

For the weekend game between Chelsea Vs Manchester United, I would place my bet on Chelsea to win than Amorim side that lacks a winning mentality to trust them with victory against Chelsea. We might get disappointed as it would be just another boring game that would end in a draw.

my major concern is Liverpool, like those guys are not really doing what they are expected to do with the kind of money spent in the transfer market and they kind of quality players they've got also, they're not really impressive with their performance, I think they really have to step up their game if they're to win the English premier League title this season

Most people believe Liverpool will just get a east ride to win the English Premier League, but I have never agreed with them,I not saying they can't win it, but it's not going to.as easy as some people predict it. I am glad to read your post, because I get to see someone that shares my view on Liverpool.
I have watch all of Liverpool match this season and I will say that I have not been impressed with the way they have played.  They have spent a lot of money and I expect more from them. I think they have been lucky in all their matches. They have got 12 points now, but that would have also just been 4 points for them too. They really need to get things together if they rely want to win the English Premier League this season.

I absolutely doesn’t share your sentiment, I think nobody said Liverpool is going to run away with the Premier League title, it’s true that Liverpool spent a lot of money, and also remember they sold players and lost a player (Diogo Jota) as much as they bought, and now there is an Arsenal that spent a lot of money and didn’t sell players, Arsenal have a more complete team comparing to Liverpool, so Arsenal and Arteta wouldn’t have any excuse if they end up trophyless, Sorry to say this because Arsenal will still end up trophyless with Arteta as the Manager, Chelsea spent money, Manchester United spent money, Manchester City also brought in new players, and you don’t buy players for free, because all the clubs have strengthened by sighing new players.

However if you’re saying that Liverpool haven’t impressed you with their performance, then I must say you have not been watching Liverpool games, and if you go by match statistics you would understand that Liverpool have dominated every game they’ve played this season, so I don’t really  know how lucky you mean, because Liverpool aren’t winning games with luck, they’re winning by putting in good performances and perfection, and if it was easy to win late minutes then every clubs should be winning late minutes like Liverpool are doing, which is a very strong mentality in football, there is no pressure on Liverpool to win the Premier League, they won it last season without spending any money, so the pressure is on Arsenal to win the Premier League this season.

A club with such a history shouldn't be playing so poorly. The management spent a lot of money on transfers under ten Hag, but apparently they don't want to repeat the same mistake with Amorim. I think they should have hired a good coach first, rather than experimenting with mediocre coaches.

To be honest I didn't expect that Amorim that was the best coach in Portugal would switch to Manchester United and become worst, not this worst and it's so frustrating watching them as a fan. I think the board would give him few more matches to safe his job if he lose to Chelsea and the next match after the Chelsea game he's out.

I too had expected Manchester united to put up a good fight and not make it easy for Man city to claim the win. At the very least, I had hoped for a goal or two from United even if they ended up losing the game. It did turn out to be an easy win for Man city.
When they managed to score the first goal, i thought to myself that Man United would begin to struggle more than they already were to equalize. I still hoped for a goal from United. That was until Man city scored the third goal.  At that point, I gave up on United having a goal in that game. Another disappointing performance from United.

We are really fed up with Manchester United's continuous poor performance and we definitely want it to change. Ten Hag was one of the worst managers in the history of Manchester United and last season they sacked Ten Hag and later Amorim was given the responsibility of the club and it was thought that Manchester United would improve at least a little under this manager. Last season, the team's performance was not good under him and this season he spent a lot of money in the transfer market so this season I expected that Manchester United might return to good performance but this season Manchester United has been disappointing continuously. In fact, what will change the performance of this team is now a big question for the fans.

I have been following the Premier League for quite some years and it is never easy for a club to win the Premier League title because of the competition between clubs in the Premier League. Despite Liverpool spending alot of money this season, it is not a guaranteed that they will win the Premier League title if they don't fight for it and be consistent to win their matches this season. Although Liverpool is yet to lose any match this season, i believe very soon they will drop points because they were very close to doing that against Burnley, but they were saved by a late penalty.

A very recent example of my point is the Burnley vs Liverpool game. Burnley did a good job in trying to keep Liverpool from scoring. And they nearly succeeded if not for the penalty that gave Liverpool the win at the end. We can all recognize their effort as they did put up a good fight but fortunately for Liverpool, they still lost.

At the end of the day, the end defined the means. If you are arguing that Manchester United did well against Manchester City, your argument have no base because you can't lose three goals to nil and be  saying that you did well, secondly, if Manchester United are truly doing well they would have accumulated more point than they have done so far, if you are removing their game against Manchester City out of the equation.

So what I'm trying to say is that, doing well without giving the desired result will not give them any point that is needed to move upward in the league table. What's their fan base are currently asking now is result not doing well, they just want to see results and if they can get results they will all be fine.

Amorim bought 5 players and spent 250 million euros in total for them. Is this a big revolution in the squad? No, it isn't.

He only focused on the attacking line and a goalkeeper signing. Or I don't know maybe he had to if he wasn't given more money to spend.

The thing is their defending is still trash. They got better in offense with many more shots but they are still having problems on scoring multiple goals in a game as well.

Amorim will clearly not succeed because his tactics are too monotonous for the English Premier League. Don't be surprised if Manchester United's position in the standings gets worse at the end of the season. There is so much chaos in this club that continues to be unresolved. In the end, I have to admit that bringing in Amorim is no better than Erik Ten Hag.

Bayern Munich were much stronger than Chelsea in yesterday's game, that's true. But perhaps Chelsea were more focused on the game against United than on trying to beat Bayern on their home field? By the way, bookmakers see this game as random:

Honestly, seeing how poor United are, I'm tempted to bet on Chelsea or Chelsea Double Chance. It feels like a high-value bet. As a United fan it's hard to accept this reality, but that's how things look.

I've said this before but I would like to repeat it again, most of you guys are the still the ones who celebrated when Ten Hag was fired and Amorim was brought in as the new Manchester united team coach, when he resumed duty in the last Premier league season, Manchester united immediately won three or four games straight up and consecutively without any draw, most of us here were jubilating and saying Amorim was the right man for the man united club, I was of the opinion that we give this man time to prove that he was indeed worthy before we begin to celebrate him, but everyone who read that comment back then countered it saying there is nothing else to prove, now look where Manchester united is..

Erik Ren Hag's regime as Manchester united team coach is beginning to look like it was far better than this Amorim's regime because I remember back then, Manchester United was not performing as they supposed to but they always managed to maintain top 7 or top 8 rank in the premier league table, look where they are right now.. 😁
