Somewhat of a milestone for me today. It appears that I have hit the 15,000 push-ups mark. That number feels both large and small for the effort I have put into this. I'm pretty sure this is probably the most push-ups I've done in a year and I look forward to doubling it before the year is over with or without Bitcoin's price hitting our goal. I did really like the combination of running stairs and doing push-ups, but I haven't been doing that as much as I'd like.

Is been a month I reported here due to some reasons though I have not been consistent with my push-up in the past weeks but I was still puting down my push-up records for the ones I did. Total of my push-up record for the month of June was 1,562 push-up with in 16days.

My foot is healing well. I will add to the pushups, flights of stairs, lite bike work and resistance bands goal is 60 flights of stairs total of 30 minutes time. 50 modded pushups 10 reverse flights of stairs bike spinning 10 minutes and resistance bands 6 minutes of the ten minutes biking. all told about 45 minutes of exercise a day. I am off to do the bike 🚲 work now. You guys seem to be making remarkable progress, which is nice to read. Again and again it is collective effort that gets people going. I know it from going to the gym on my own. At times it is better because you talk less and have a better focus, but for things you want to be doing long-term, having people around you doing the same and pushing you can make a huge difference. Especially when it comes to challenges like these. @philipma1957 what is your definition of a flight of stairs? Are you doing it at home or are stairs in your area somewhere outside? 45 minutes of exercise a day, you don't need to do a lot of google search to find out by how much it prolongs your life on average. It's incredible, that's all I will say. And you got an amazing mix of resistance in the push-ups, hybrid (strength + resistance) in the flights of stairs, and endurance in your biking. Could really not be any better than that for overall health condition. @OgNasty as I said before here, it is like building a tower. The more stones you use, the higher you can get. If you do 15,000 push-ups a year for 10 years in a row, you are 150,000 push-ups fitter than someone not doing the same (assuming that person doesn't do anything else of course). It was a nice insight I found in some Youtube video I think from some fitness and health doctor. He said every step we do and all the stairs we take through our lifetime, it adds up. Even if we have some vices like alcohol or cigarettes (of course not excessive of any of these). But even if you were an alcoholic, you would on average outlive someone when you do sports compared to an alcoholic who does nothing. Activity is key to longevity.

edited how many pushup will you do the day BTC hits 100k
I have not thought about it but it will be fun trying to go all out that day and see how many push-ups I could do, but at minimum I will try to hit 200 at the time. My thoughts are when the BTC prices starts getting closer to $100k, if I have time, I will start to push towards doing more pushups in the day.. maybe even try to shoot for doing pushups every hour, yet I am not sure if I would be able to do 500 in a day, so I will probably spend several days trying to get up to that quantity.. that is if I still feel that it is worth the effort. Surely it would be interesting to try to set a new daily pushup number, and I tentatively believe that 500 is within reach for me, even though I have my doubts in regards to being able to do 500 pushups in a day without building up to it.. so far my maximum number of pushups in any day is 300 (on May 7th).. so I consider there to be a quite a BIG difference between doing 300 pushups in a day and 500 pushups in a day. I consider it not realistic for me to even shoot for trying (or intending to try) to do more than 500 in a day, so if I am able to get from 300 pushups in a day to 500 pushups in a day, that may well be enough for me to then lower my regular amounts back down to right around 150-ish per day.. which is right around my current rate. I exercise right after breakfast as it is supposed to burn calories better.
I tend to feel that I can exercise better before I eat rather than after eating, but maybe it depends upon how much I eat and also what kind of food, but as a general principle having less food in the belly seems to help me to feel better during my exercises - as long as I am not raving of hunger. I do the same, I have tried exercising after eating and I feel lethargic and with no motivation to go through my exercise routine, but doing so before getting lunch or dinner makes me look forward to my next meal and it motivates me to finish the routine as quickly as possible so I can enjoy it. 100k,wxa7115,34,3050,2024-06-26 I can surely relate to that. For me, it is a matter of having an empty stomach, but not being overly hungry, so usually during those times, I am able to exercise better, and surely after the exercise, appetite increases, so there can be quite a bit of hunger that comes after having had done the exercise - well depending on how involved the exercise is.. if the exercise is over a long period of time, then I would not necessarily want to have an empty stomach, but something like a set or two of pushups, then having an empty stomach seems preferable. This is based on facts as that has usually been my experience once the exercise happened to extend in time frame hunger is likely to kick start on me I thought it's basically on me only because of how I started from the initial push up has not been the best for me as I later begin to enjoy the push up I was like that could be the part of experience , it's of more clear that the time frame can also facilitate hunger if one did the exercise in an empty stomach, for long time. But there is one major aspects of this push up the body become more Free and quickly gather momentum to push when the stomach is empty based on my experience because when my body is less weight I pushes faster than when I have tasted any food. The first floor is 7.5 feet ceiling so the stairs or flight are not 13 steps like an 8 foot ceiling they are 12. So 10 flights = 120 steps up and down 20 flights = 240 steps up and down 30 flights = 360 steps up and down 40 flights = 480 steps up and down I was up to 42 or 43 flights of stairs when I hurt my foot. On those stairs while just walking the den downstairs and reading my cell phone. (moron that I am) I took time off and am back to 20 flights.

I have been very busy for some days now and because of that I haven't been consistent on my Pushups,performance and records have been stalled.I'm happy to see that more members have join this challenge and their performance and consistency is quite impressive.
Today I did 100 pushups in 4 sets that's 25,25,25,25.

If you do 15,000 push-ups a year for 10 years in a row, you are 150,000 push-ups fitter than someone not doing the same (assuming that person doesn't do anything else of course). Even if we have some vices like alcohol or cigarettes (of course not excessive of any of these). But even if you were an alcoholic, you would on average outlive someone when you do sports compared to an alcoholic who does nothing. Activity is key to longevity. I live in a high ranch or bilevel. The first floor is 7.5 feet ceiling so the stairs or flight are not 13 steps like an 8 foot ceiling they are 12. So 10 flights = 120 steps up and down 20 flights = 240 steps up and down 30 flights = 360 steps up and down 40 flights = 480 steps up and down I was up to 42 or 43 flights of stairs when I hurt my foot. On those stairs while just walking the den downstairs and reading my cell phone. (moron that I am) I took time off and am back to 20 flights. Interesting. My flight of stairs is 17 steps. I thought that was the norm. When I do them, I usually do 20 trips up and down, which is 340 steps for me. That’s enough to get my legs wobbling a bit. I need to be more consistent with stairs. It really is a great knee exercise which is an area most people could use work on.

I disagree with you at Zackz5000; it isn't because there was no space in the Uhwuchukwu53 push-up report that made Dirtykeyboard pick his push-up report. If anyone adds or removes anything from the push-up report format, that person's push-up report will not be accurate, and it will not be entered in the push-up table. We have been following this measure to help us know how to report accurate push-ups. Maybe DirtyKeyboard just helped Uhwuchukwu53 enter his push-up report, even though there was a mistake in his push-up report.

Somewhat of a milestone for me today. It appears that I have hit the 15,000 push-ups mark. That number feels both large and small for the effort I have put into this. I'm pretty sure this is probably the most push-ups I've done in a year and I look forward to doubling it before the year is over with or without Bitcoin's price hitting our goal. I did really like the combination of running stairs and doing push-ups, but I haven't been doing that as much as I'd like.

My foot is healing well. I will add to the pushups, flights of stairs, lite bike work and resistance bands goal is 60 flights of stairs total of 30 minutes time. 50 modded pushups 10 reverse flights of stairs bike spinning 10 minutes and resistance bands 6 minutes of the ten minutes biking. all told about 45 minutes of exercise a day. I am off to do the bike 🚲 work now. You guys seem to be making remarkable progress, which is nice to read. Again and again it is collective effort that gets people going. I know it from going to the gym on my own. At times it is better because you talk less and have a better focus, but for things you want to be doing long-term, having people around you doing the same and pushing you can make a huge difference. Especially when it comes to challenges like these. @philipma1957 what is your definition of a flight of stairs? Are you doing it at home or are stairs in your area somewhere outside? 45 minutes of exercise a day, you don't need to do a lot of google search to find out by how much it prolongs your life on average. It's incredible, that's all I will say. And you got an amazing mix of resistance in the push-ups, hybrid (strength + resistance) in the flights of stairs, and endurance in your biking. It really is a great knee exercise which is an area most people could use work on. 7.5 foot ceiling = 12 steps 10 foot ceiling = 16-17 steps 7.5 x 1.3333 = 10 12 x 1.3333 = 16 rounding issues or slightly taller steps are why I am 12 not 13 steps rounding issues or slightly low steps are why you are 17 not 16 steps Just did 23 flights of stairs and 23 modded pushups along with 2 backwards flights. Stepping Backwards up the stairs is really really hard to do. I know I will work back to 40 flights and hoping I get to 60 before we hit 100k. as for modded push ups I won’t say they are easy. But I am pretty sure I can do 40 of them down the road. The backwards stair climbing up and down is hard. Not sure what I decide to go to on them. My goal is to do more than 35 minutes for all of the above but under 40 minutes. Then the nite time lite bike of 10 minutes while doing resistance bands during the bikes work.

In my case, an increase on the quality of my life when I am older is what I am really looking for, and since I have seen some real-life examples of both, those that do exercise and those that do not, and the differences are dramatic, with those that have exercised for a long period of time being way more healthy than those that did not in almost any metric that can be measured. So it is a no-brainier to exercise now so I can reap the benefits on the future, and while at the beginning it was hard, as I had not exercised for a decade, I am finally reaching a level of fitness I am comfortable with. 100k,wxa7115,36,3300,2024-06-28

I had to look this up, but it appears that standard stairs are around 37° but there can be variance between 25° and 70° with recommendations that they should not exceed 40° or be flatter than 25°.. but sure of course you are referring to stairs within a house, so they are likely more standardized.. yet I know some older houses have very steep stairs... but those might not be used for your stair running. You likely have the wrong push-up report format because this is the second time you have made this type of mistake. Below is the push-up report format that will guide you in reporting a perfect or accurate push-up. 100k,Username,DaysofPush-ups,NumberofPush-ups,yyyy-mm-dd. You can write down the push-up report format on paper so that you will not have to look for it anytime you are reporting your push-up; you can just look inside the book and see the push-up report format. Although the posted format seems faulty due to $ sign, Uhwuchukwu53 latest report was included in DirtyKeyboard"s report sheet. I don't know how that report got included. I believe that why Uhwuchukwu53 report was included in the report sheet despite the dollar sign in his 100k was that there was no extra space in his push-up report format had it been there was an extra space in his push-up report DirtyKeyboard script wouldn't have included it in the push-up table. I don't actually think the reason why his report was taken, was because of no extra space.
