I was able to complete 25 push-ups. I do them in one go or I can do 25 more throughout the day. I wonder how much more I can do by focusing on the push-ups I can do in one go each day. Instead of doing 25 push-ups in a single set and stopping, it would be more beneficial at this stage to do 3-4 sets. You can do 10-15 reps per set. This way you'll end up doing more in total and your muscles will get worked more effectively. When you do it all at once and stop, the muscles don't even get a chance to warm up properly. You could also try a pyramid style like 10-15-20-15-10 reps etc. I'm currently continuing with 20 reps for 10 sets. Yeah the key is being able to keep doing them. As the most beneficial way is do them every day at a level that does not injure.
The older you get recovery time gets longer.
I am off to do my next 25 which will give me 50 for today.
So at fifty.
I am aware that in may and june I mentioned doing pushups for maybe 20 days and that i am not reporting them for the chart.
Hoping i can get past this half in and half out reporting method by july.

Getting an early start today and doing my best to beat the heat. I feel like I need to jump in the pool before it gets too much hotter outside to defend against an impending perpetual sunburn. My sit-ups and leg lifts are getting much easier by the day. I highly recommend adding some additional core workouts to your routine if 100 push-ups becomes too easy for you. The past 2 weeks have been a bit tiring for me because I have a job and it requires me to travel, so the challenge was put on hold because it was really hard to avoid. But today I restarted after 2 weeks of busyness and tried to do some warm up with jogging as usual followed by sit ups and of course the challenge that I left temporarily.
After 2 weeks of not doing it there were some parts of my body especially in my biceps that felt quite sore for a while after I did push ups for 5 sets x 20 reps. Although it didn't really interfere with my activities, there was a slight difference I felt in terms of body condition because it seemed like I had to start a new training again after I had previously stopped.
Yep. Exactamente!!! Amazing how that works!!!!! And, surely one of the reasons that I am trying to avoid, as much as I can to completely take a break, even though from time to time, I end up having some low number of pushup repetitions and also low number of pushup sets days. By the way, I also have some tricks that I do in terms of making up for my missed pushups when it happens and even to punish myself and in essence it results in my doing way more pushups than I count.. and not getting credit for many of the punishment pushups that I end up having to do and not wanting to do that, but the punishment ends up being something to help to inspire me to try to stick with the "easy route" of doing my required daily pushups of at least three sets... Even though it sometimes can be difficult, it is not as difficult as the punishment that I sometimes end up having to dish out to myself for not doing the regular pushups within my schedule. That's right and it seems that there really needs to be a re-acclimatization because previously I was quite able to do around 150 push ups in 5 sets but after a few weeks of not doing it there seems to be a slight problem if it is too forced and it happened where when yesterday I tried to force 100 push ups in 4 sets x 20 reps in the end until now I still feel some sore parts including the biceps. I tried to minimize it by compressing and giving pain relievers but the discomfort is still there even today. I was able to complete 25 push-ups. I do them in one go or I can do 25 more throughout the day. I wonder how much more I can do by focusing on the push-ups I can do in one go each day.
If it is 25 push-ups you can be able to do in a day, it is very much okay for you to stick with it so that you can comfortably be doing your push-ups and be consistent with it, but if you still have enough energy or strength to do more than 25 push-ups a day, you can go ahead and increase the number of your daily push-ups because it will help to develop you faster than you doing fewer push-ups a day. You can divide your push-ups into sets for you to achieve the total number of push-ups you want to do a day easily. Your update is very accurate and very coordinated. I appreciate your contribution to the success of this thread. It is great because you also encourage other members that their efforts is recognised. Thank you! Things have been running smoothly lately.  I am not away from the exercise, even though I am not updating every day. I have been doing my pushups, and I have been tending to end after the time that DirtyKeyboard's script runs...
Is like you're not here but in spirit you are here with us, good thing you're here to drop your report in as much as you said you have been up to speed with the exercise but not reporting, it still shows the commitment...at least those who asked of you have finally seen you drop your report and for you to be off for sometime made me start asking myself if you're going to be on the bench any time soon? The bench is getting filled everyday. Does no one else feel like daily pushups is part of daily lifestyle?? The fun, the strength, the fitness. Exercise can be a very difficult task to keep up with oneself consistently. And mostly what usually lead to people giving up is when they decide to give excuses to skip a day or two and before they know it, it has gone from days to weeks. Coming back becomes even harder because when you remember the pains your muscles gonna give you since it has relaxed due to how long you have skipped from working out. And hypothetically from what I think, aside from BTC price reaching 100k, what also led to some persons tired out and quitted was that they didn't had a workouts partner which both could be encouraging each other either to take it on in the evening or morning as the case might be. But still, some would say that's not an excuse. Part of the reason that I advocate doing pushups every day and not skipping days is because a certain level of increased soreness seems to come from larger periods of time between doing pushup sets... so yeah, guys are likely going to experience breaks in pushups differently depending on other things that they might be doing and/or maybe their age and/or health/fitness status. Having an exercise partner could be helpful, yet we likely need to put the responsibility on ourselves in terms of our priorities, since it is likely difficult to find a partner who is likely to share in their assigning of priorities and/or even if we might pay a personal trainer, sometimes their priorities are going to sufficiently differ from our own in order to potentially cause tensions and/or conflicts. The first 20,000 I was doing very differently where my hands were wide, and in the down position my arms made like the frame of a soccer goal with my biceps perpendicular to my body, which I think was working more my back. Now I've pulled my hands in more under my shoulders, and send my elbows more back than out, which I think is working my shoulders more. Along with eating more protein and drinking protien shakes, I look bulkier. 💪 I'm sure I could get more results by doing more/different exercises than 100 pushups a day, but hey, my triceps and pecs are casting shadows now.

Getting going a little earlier than normal today with the push-ups. Loving my new routine. Sets of 25 with accompanying ab workouts seems to be doing it for me this week.
I shaved my beard today for the first time in many years. Not sure why but it is nice to remember what I look like after so long. I do have a chin!
Typically when I trim my beard it is an omen of bad things to come. Let us hope the beardless curse is not still upon us.

It is very good to be sincere with yourself in terms of push-ups reporting and it happened that is due to the workout you actually do today, i really appreciate and horny your sincerity and it is also a good way to courage others that meant decided to skip his /her daily push-ups due to one exercise to another but can follow the example that you have shown by reducing your push-ups than skipping push-ups the whole day. I was not able to meet up my totally number push-ups per day due to i was in a tight schedule today that i said to myself that i will never skip today push-ups but to 20 in 5 sets and immediately after the push-ups i took my bath and i rush out for the business of the day.
