How does one change their username. It seems when you sign up and try to add some basic verification info, your real name is instead used as the profile username. Shouldn't we have some flexibility with username choice away from One's real names used when trying to verify the account?

Yes, that's possible and I mostly bet on sports events when the match starts, sometime you can easily find information about losing team by watching the match yourself. I know in that way odds get low but still there's profit when someone knows the sport properly.

One thing I like about whale that it still shows your max amount you can bet on a side you want to bet on. Many sites got rid of this option or at least for me stripped me of it for whatever reason. I suggest they should let it be more flexible. Just like some other casino and exchanges do it. Let people use the random public usernames they would like, but then the casino knows the user's real names via the verification process.

Imagine not wanting to share your account name in public because it could easily get you doxxed. @Whale think about this.

Oh really, I honestly didn't expect that. My first exposure to gambling was sports betting (not even online), offline in a shop a loooooong time ago. So I couldn't imagine there are still sports betting "virgins" out there, good for you I must say!

You should either generate completely generic usernames like BC.Game (and I think Betfury?) does, or give the player the option to choose their own username. In principle, the first name does not provide any direct indication of the person, but with the link to the e-mail address, Telegram and possibly here in the forum, that would still be too much private information for me that others don't need to know.

My whale account has the same username as my telegram and bitcointalk account which is Fivestar4everMVP, though I just logged in right now to really check if there is a way to change the username but unfortunately there wasn't, but then I believe one only end up with their real names as user name is that is what they entered in the username box during registeration, not like it's mandatory to use ones real names for registeration due to kyc verification, as a matter of fact, I have not verified my account and I've not been asked to.

In level 1 verification, you are required to input your first name and last name, and it turned out that the name you put becomes your username in the platform, that is why players are asking about the possibility of changing it and i agree with them. When you choose to sign up using the email method, there is no username field in the registration form. You need to provide your first and last name (Level 1 verification).

Since it specifically asks for first/last name, I believe this means you must provide your real information. If you are later required to verify your identity and they discover you provided false information, you may run into issues.

I support the suggestion to allow users to change or add their usernames.
