Real Madrid won against Juventus, and as a Juventus fan I'm not surprised at all, I'm actually glad we managed to lose only 1-0, all thanks to Di Gregorio, Juventus' goalkeeper who did some very good savings, if it wasn't for him we would have lost at least 4-0. The difference between the two teams was clear. I am always very disappointed by Gonzalez and Koopmeiners, so much money wasted for these 2 players...

Am I the only person thinking that Real Madrid need to sign a striker this summer?

Do they? Personally, I don't think so. I mean, they already have options in with Mbappe with Gonzalo García now joining the squad full time. I don't think Real Madrid is lacking in any position. The only position I might consider lacking is their left back position. It's an elite team already with the only problem being that they're not performing anywhere close to their potential.

You could say that again. The team has got all it takes but yet, they are still very far from its potential. The Real Madrid we have today isn’t as fierce as it once was. Imagine them playing first half draw with Juventus today. I knew they would win though or at least speculated that much from them and they did eventually but, that was after G. Garcia got that chance with the header ball into the net.  Juventus’s goalkeeper was really good today, came up with over 10 good saves. He did frustrate a lot of Real Madrid’s effort.

Absolutely, Juventus goalkeeper was there savior  else the goal would have been more than this but even though the goalkeeper is good, Real Madrid of some seasons ago will penetrate and score more than they did today and frankly speaking what both side played was below what I was expecting from them. I don't really blame Real Madrid because they have a new coach so it is possible that the new coach is trying to see the strength and capability of each players so I'm giving him a benefit of the doubt for now but if it continue we will know if it is the players or the coach fault. This days it is very hard to predict Real Madrid because they are not consistent and the way it is going they may not get to the finals unless they improve.

It looks like Dortmund will actually make it to the quarter-finals. Because in the first half it turned out that Dortmund managed to lead 2-0. I didn't get to watch the first half. Because I previously looked at the match schedule incorrectly. But we still can't make a conclusion. because from the statistics in the first half it turned out that Monterrey was superior in possession of the ball and also in the number of attacks built. Monterrey may just be less effective in taking advantage of the opportunities they have. Let's see if Dortmund will maintain the current score. Or Monterrey will manage to equalize the score. But I think Monterrey will score in the second half.

Borussia Dortmund did well but it seems they relaxed after scoring those 2 goals in the 1st half thinking it's over already, the score line is currently 2 - 1, Monterrey scored in the 48th minute and it was scored Berterame, Dortmund needs to sit up in this 2nd half they need to tighten their defense and mark well too cause they've really lost possession to Monterrey thereby giving them more opportunities to equalize, it would get tougher if Monterrey score another goal and might be more difficult for Dortmund so they either have to score another goal or claim possession to calm the pressure from Monterrey, I just hope that Dortmund don't share same fate as Inter Milan and Manchester City it would be suprising to see another big teak leave the tournament, well the scoreline is still in their favour they just have to defend it well.

That Juve Keeper frustrated the hell outta Valverde and other members of the Real Madrid team. I watched some of the saves so I can confirm that to be true. However, all his saves proved futile as Juventus was unable to find a goal at the other end of the field.

As for Madrid team, let's see how Xabi Alonso transforms this team. Leverkusen was performing like this in the early days of Alonso's reign there. It's a very high potential team so it's still too early to criticize them..

Is very good that all this clubs we saw on this Tournament came because before this time our perspective of some of this team was very poor but now this is like proven us wrong that there are many better teams on the sub domestic leagues, look out Manchester City a club that has won many awards even champions League but could not win a Brazilian team on the final stage, on the extra time was when Fluminense tightened up the slacking points, however Koulibaly and Leonardo are the conqueror for the extra time that took place and each them came out with a goal. However for what they did to Manchester City AI Hilal will do alot of strategy trials to encounter the one that was used against Manchester City before they meet.

Yes, of course many people's perspectives think that teams from less well-known football leagues will not last long in this competition. But this is football and anything can happen here. The proof is that currently 2 teams that are considered ordinary, namely Al Hilal and Fluminense, are able to beat big teams that are favored by many people. Even though if you think about it briefly, it is a bit difficult for Fluminense to beat Inter who yesterday became the second winner in the UCL. But in reality, Fluminense was able to beat Inter without conceding and this was really beyond our expectations. Likewise with Al Hilal who was able to beat the giant team from the English league, Manchester City, this was really a very surprising thing.

But that is what makes this competition very interesting, because if everything goes without surprises, of course it won't be too exciting. But what is really unfortunate is that in the last 8 round, Al Hilal actually had to face Fluminense. Even though it would certainly be more exciting if the two teams met another big team. But what can you do, all of these are the rules and I hope this match will be exciting. And I might support Al Hilal in this match, because I see Al Hilal has a really big ambition to be able to win every match in this competition. Those who watched the match between Real Madrid vs Juventus live and especially those who are Real Madrid fans must have thought about how their team could perform so poorly. I have seen how well-organized Real Madrid football is before but if they watch the highlights of the haphazard football they played against Juventus, they might regret how they played such a game. Madrid won and secured the next round, that is a different matter, but we did not see a good performance from Real Madrid, that is probably a regret and it also seems that if they perform the same in the quarter-finals, they might have to lose there.

Classic display by Serhou Guirassy. I like his composure and his clinical finishing.  If he had wasted the available chances Borussia Dortmund had, maybe the game would have gone to extra time. Another exemplary player in that match was Karim Adeyemi. He created some creative goalscoring chances, and he had a good game based on my assessment. I am wondering why top clubs across Europe are not scrambling to get the service of this German-Nigerian star.

It was a sad day for Monterrey captain Sergio Ramos who wanted to end his career with a title.  He has scored five goals since joining the Mexican side and he had an opportunity which slightly went off target. Although the German side won the match,  Monterrey put up a good show to prove that they are a good side.

Yes, the game between Madrid and Juventus was really beautiful. Looking at the past matches, I thought there would be more than one goal in this match too. But it didn't happen. Juventus also missed many chances. In the first half, Juventus' Kolo Muani had a great chance but couldn't take it. Similarly, Real Madrid had many chances but couldn't take it. Maybe Juventus' luck wasn't on their side and that's why they lost. But we saw both teams play very well. There are many people who are in favor of Juventus and still lose today, but I was in favor of Real Madrid today. Garcia was the hero in the game between Real Madrid and Juventus, he scored a normal goal..

DiGregori was the only reason why Juve didn't concede a lot in this game. Their defense has been shite, but being helped by their goalie. they could lose more than three goals if DiGregori didn't perform excellent in this game.

Juve seem has too much problems need to be solved. The way Tudor managed his team in the last two games was weird. his team being so clueless in how to score, and at this point, i'd not continue him as a coach.

During the early moments of this tournament, I had a favorite club that will come out with triumph result but it happens they're not eligible enough and got eliminated and that favorite team was Manchester City. Pep Guardiola have lost his winning spark, losses now sets in and this is something that's making entirely the atmosphere in Etihad becoming disturbing. However there are presence of other elite competitive clubs, we're looking at the toughest among the tough.

It's very okay to give your own predictions about these upcoming club world cup quarter finals fixtures, a very important game to get acquainted with. What I know is one EPL side have probability to make it to the final because they've always been consistent in winning games. Chelsea will go far despite the shaking squad Enzo Maresca is building. In the Real Juventus match, Juventus started the match very well but could not score.

In the second half, Juventus could not attack properly. Tudor took Kenan, who was the only player who challenged Real's defense, out of the game and Juventus got even worse.
Juventus' Goalkeeper Di Gregorio was the star of the match. He especially prevented Valverde's effective shots from scoring.

Mbappe played in this match for the first time after illness and injury, but he looked far from his old days.
Real Madrid defeated Juventus 1-0 and became Dortmund's opponent in the quarterfinals.
Dortmund also defeated Monterrey 2-1 and became Real's opponent.

The teams that were selected for the quarter-finals after the round of 16 in the club World Cup were really lucky. However, those who are selected for the semi-finals will be even luckier, and those who are confirmed for the final will be even luckier. However, in the next match, Al Hilal vs. Fluminense, these two teams will face each other. In this match, Al Hilal is the favorite to go to the next semi-finals. On the other hand, Chelsea vs. Palmeiras will face these two teams, although Chelsea is a lot of the favorite team here. However, in this Club World Cup, two Brazilian clubs have been selected for the quarter-finals brilliantly. They are really the best clubs. They have performed great, which is why they won.

The strongest teams will face each other in the quarter-finals, and the most exciting match will be between Bayern Munich and PSG. Only one team will qualify for the semi-finals, while Real Madrid and Dortmund will face each other. Overall, these four teams are strong, but it is still difficult to say which two teams will make it to the semi-finals. However, we will definitely see a great and exciting match in this match, where each team will fight with excitement.

But I'm happy to see PSG met tough opponents, they were Champions League winner, so if they're strong, they should able to enter final. The other branch I predict Al Hilal will reach to final.

Juventus always get a good goalkeeper, in the past they have Buffon, then Szczesny and now Di Gregorio.
