It is understandable that Juventus fans were not surprised by the defeat because the two teams are of different qualities, but there was another side that was a big highlight in this match, namely Michele Di Gregorio extraordinary performance. He made 10 saves against Real Madrid and denied a couple of goalscoring chances, his first performance at the top level was truly outstanding, he was signed from Monza for €14 million, unlike Gonzalez and Koopmeiners who have not performed to expectations despite the big money the club spent on them. Despite being eliminated from this competition, what Michele Di Gregorio showed gave new hope to Juventus when the season officially started.

The game was really close to equal, but the score could have been more if not for the Juventus goalkeeper, who as I think two or three times saved Juventus from a sure goal into their own net. I think that Di Gregorio should be recognized as the player of the match even though Juventus lost.

Also I can not agree with the fact that Juventus tried well to impose the fight to Real, because after we could watch the match Borussia Monterrey and here Monterrey really tried his best and even equalized the score in the second half, but the referee saw offside and still Monterrey fought until the last second and Sergio Ramos could take the game into extra time, but he was a little unlucky.
So Juventus did not show something interesting and lost with a minimal score only thanks to Di Gregorio.

In as much as real Madrid won this game by a goal to nil I think that they are being over hyped in this club world cup due to their rich history in world football, but this particular real madrid team is not as good as the real Madrid team that I have known in the past, look at this Juventus team, they that are doing terrible bad, it was through struggling they even won by a goal to nil, this shows that they are not as strong as most people think, but congratulations to them anyway for progressing to the quarter finals of this competition where they will be coming up against borussia dortmund that won their own game against Monterey, and I believe that this game will be much more of a  difficult test to this real Madrid team than Juventus that is seriously out of form as of now.

Monterrey really tried his best

I placed two combo bets for yesterday's matches. One of them was the bet involving Real Madris against Inter. This bet was the lost because Inter didn't manage to score during entire match. The second bet ^{relevant to Borussia against Monterrey} actually paid off, thus, I have ended up with the slight boost to my bankroll. BTW, Monterrey's squad played really well. They dominated for most of the match, forcing Borussia to make 6 saves out of 7 scoring attempts.

Everybody expected Real Madrid to win so there was no suprise there but what caught my attention in this game was the goalie, he did well and although they lost but he has won the hearts of many fans. Without him at goal, Real Madrid could have scored more than 3 goals. Real Madrid having 21 shots and 11 of that on targets tells you how dominant Real Madrid was in the game. Juventus didn't play like they wanted to win the game and it's good that they have been eliminated because I don't think they could have done well in the tournament. The competition is now having shape and soon we'll get the finalist which Real Madrid has possibility of being among.

Guirassy in my opinion is a very great player who can take advantage of opportunities well, the proof is that today he was able to make a Brace and of course the goal he created made Dortmund win. but honestly I am very impressed with Monterey and Dortmund because he can play optimally and of course in that match there was almost a draw if the referee did not make an offside decision when Berterame scored a goal. but unfortunately today is a lucky day for Dortmund which finally Dortmund qualified for the quarter-finals. a score of 2-1 for Dortmund's victory today is certainly a good result.


but for the next match Dortmund must test the strength of Real Madrid in the quarter-finals and what is certain here is that Niko must test the strength of his team Xabi Alonso and of course that match will be very exciting. but I see that Dortmund has a squad that is enough to be able to compete with Real Madrid because Dortmund's game is certainly very good because Dortmund players can always take advantage of opportunities well. the proof is that today Monterey really lost even though Monterey controlled a lot of ball possession and attacks. honestly it is very difficult to predict the results of Dortmund vs Real Madrid later in the quarter-finals.

After watching Juventus 5-2 loss against Manchester city, it was then i ruled them out completely that they aren't good enough to stage a serious challenge in this competition, though I wasn't that pleased with real madrid because I expected them to win at least by a two goal margin, because this one zero win really flatters this Juventus side considering how terrible they are playing, and how their level has drastically dropped from the old ladies we used to know when bonuchi and chilieni was still there, but regardless of what so ever, it's from now on we are going to see a more higher quality of games, since the men have been separated from the boys

Only in the first half Dortmund got 35% ball possession and a number of other statistics such as shots. But Dortmund managed to make 2 goals during the 45 minutes of the first half.
In the second half, Dortmund's ball possession percentage was better than the first half. Even the shots made by Dortmund in the second half actually decreased because only 2 times without being on target.
Sometimes it shows that you don't have to win ball possession to score.

No doubt, Juventus played a good game against one of the strongest teams in the world presently but they were a bit unlucky with the chances they had. The second half statistics wasn't impressive but generally, it was a good game regardless they lost and end their journey in the FIFA club world Cup but at least, it was much better than most of their last season performance in the Serie A.

My problem is with the coach who sat down while the boys were losing. As a coach, he's the motivator to players on pitch and every of his gestures is sending a message to players. By sitting down while losing a game simply means he's giving hope already or he's comfortable with the team performance. That was totally wrong from him because every second in football is a second of hope and opportunity to score. Standing by them might give them a kind of motivation to put more effort.

Juventus were no match to Real Madrid. It's quite surprising that the goal difference was narrow even at the end of the game. Now real Madrid would get Dortmund as their competitor, this is the same team they defeated in 2024 champions league final. This should also be easy for Real Madrid. But the semi finals are going to be tough. Both PSG and Bayern are currently in better form than Real Madrid.
This branch has the toughest competition to finals while other branch is going to be relatively easier with less popular teams. Chelsea could utilize the oppurtunity to reach the finals.

Yep, we will see another semi final like final and final like round of 16.

But I'm happy to see PSG met tough opponents, they were Champions League winner, so if they're strong, they should able to enter final. The other branch I predict Al Hilal will reach to final.

all the fixtures from this point upwards are not easy fixtures for any of the teams involved and there is not a team that i can think of that has the guarantee of getting into the semi finals yet. the game between real Madrid and  Dortmund is one that will interest everyone because this is another opportunity for Dortmund to get a revenge after real Madrid deprived them of an opportunity of getting hands on the champions league last time both team met. real Madrid is not even in their strongest form so Dortmund will be hoping that they can get the opportunity of making things really difficult for them, whichever way the game goes, we are going to see a lot of strong fixtures till we get to the finals. if either Al Hilal or Chelsea gets to the finals, that will be the most surprising thing that will happen since most persons are currently rooting for either of real Madrid or PSG to win this tournament.

Juventus performance was not as bad as against City before and that's good, the first half was theirs the rest of the changes made by Tudor are still not much visible, I think 1 month is enough time for I.Tudor to fix what is lacking in his squad. On the other hand, it's nice with the improvements made by Xabi to real, all lines are quite well organized, it just takes a little more time to look more perfect.

Yea Juventus isn't stable and well organized as a team so ordinarily Realmadrid is suppose to give the a better lash than what we saw last night but one thing we should also consider is the fact that Realmadrid on their own has not yet balanced they taking things gradually but I still agree with you that the difference in that particular match is supposed be clear considering the fact that Juventus isn't in their good form, intact I think Juventus wasn't fit for this competition if we have to be sincere but I still wonder if this is what we are going to from Juventus this season, I think something needed to be done in that team, everything seems to be getting worst, despite that the just managed to conceive only 1 goal in that yesterday match, there should be a kind of overhaul of the entire team.

I think the same and statistics were also in favor of Monterrey in almost every chapter. However , Dortmund has the necessary experience to win games like this one and they did it but I can already see them being eliminated by Real Madrid even if the two of them have a great rivalry story in the last decade. 

Now it's time for 2 days break and then we have Fluminense - Al Hilal ...a game that could end up with penalties in my opinion.

Yes, it is no wonder that Juventus lost in this match, because the significant difference in performance made Juventus unable to do much in this match other than defending and occasionally counterattacking. But even though Juventus lost in this match, of course their struggle deserves our appreciation, because they have provided a spectacle that is quite entertaining for all of us. Maybe Juventus just needs to make this defeat a lesson so that in the future they can have better performance. In addition, regarding the two Juventus players you mentioned, I also feel that their contribution is not too big at Juventus. Because in this match they did not show a very good impact for Juventus. But even so, I hope that they can improve their skills even more. Because basically they have to remember that they are paid by Juventus, so with that they have to train even harder.



And now Real Madrid has qualified for the last 8 and will face Dortmund in that round. Because earlier Dortmund managed to beat Monterey with a score of 2-1.

Inter Milan is already one goal down from a third minute goal by German Cano. The Brazilian side is not showing any sign of sowing down even after scoring the leading goal. It may be too early to call but I'm very skeptical about Inter Milan winning tonight because have not too spectacular in this competition. If the are able to equalize in this first half, then they have a good chance of winning the match from the second half. It will really be a poor one for Inter Milan if they are eliminated by Fluminese.

Inter Milan are really going through a lot and they better get their acts back together if they want to remain in the top spots in the coming Serie A season because this performance they gave in this tournament was nothing to write home about. They didn't show as much seriousness as was expected of an European club. If anything, it seemed like they just wanted to get the whole thing done with and return back to Italy.
I keep saying that the Brazilian teams are so invested in this tournament so much that you could see Fluminese celebrating their win over Inter as if they have won the finals.

Real Madrid vs Dortmund once again. This bring back memories 2024/2025 UCL final when Madrid humiliated Dortmund. So i think the same result to happen in the upcoming game.

Madrid is often overpowered Dortmund. This gives us easiest way to earn money. Betting on Madrid is already decent consider it offers 1.66.

Juventus performance was not bad in the first half of the game, although they wasted many chances to score. If Real Madrid had the early opportunities as Juventus did, I believe they would convert them into goals. Juventus were lucky to concede just one goal, if it weren't for their goalkeeper, I'm confident Real Madrid would have scored more than one goal with the way they attacked in the second half. The Juventus goalkeeper made 10 saves out of 11 shots on target. To be honest, Juventus played a great game, but their attacking seemed weak in terms of creating goals.

We all saw Monterrey's dominance in the match. But they were unable to score. On the other hand, Dortmund were weak in possession and attack, but they managed to score. They managed to score two goals in only 3 attacks. This shows that Dortmund's counterattack yesterday was quite strong and they played for the goal. Monterrey dominated Dortmund throughout the game, but the result was not on their side. Monterrey had 14 shots, 7 were on target. Dortmund was lucky to score early goals in the first half of the game, otherwise, the game may have ended a different way. According to the highlights of the game that I watched, Dortmund defense is not great, they were able to qualify because their goalkeeper prevented Monterrey from scoring.
