I am having difficulty understanding what you mean.

Quote: fedoracoin-qt.exe add -reindex

Means: "fedoracoin-qt.exe -reindex" correct?

Quote: add space and -reindex after he sync.

No idea what that means. Do i have to -reindex twice?

To me when looking at the debug.log it seems quite clear that the wallet is unable to contact the nodes because they are offline e.g.
2016-03-13 14:14:21 trying connection 141.8.225.63:44889 lastseen=119.5hrs

last time this node was online 119.5 hours ago.

Did you install anything like a firewall antivirus software?

try adding these nodes, they are from the pool i am running:

12  FedoraCoin    $ 11,470,606    $ 0.000041    280,846,322,360 TIPS    $ 114,541    .

The coin is about to pass stellar on Coinmarketcap.

Why is the coin doing so well?

Also is there any trouble using Bter?

Yes, any truly respectable coin needs to be traded on 3 exchanges at a minimum, preferably more.  Look what happened to Mincoin when the only exchange it was traded on closed down, (i.e. Crypsy / Mincoin = 0).

I've heard new domains mentioned, what is wrong with this domain then:  http://fedoracoin.org/

Well to let you all know it only takes 3BTC to get on bittrex and a member / Dev to fill out the form.

I have done it before for another coin and it does not take long.

*****update blockexplorer*****

Hi guys,

the blockexplorer is nearly finished.
Final testing phase now, if we don't find any further bugs we will release it in the next 2h.

The Richlist isnt filled yet, we are also thinking about disableing it.

What do you think? Do you need/want a richlist?

This coin looks to be being pumped and dumped atm.

there is serious problems with this.
TIPS needs another exchange before its dead.
I am tired of mining TIPS and then losing my deposits at BTER and literally support is non-existent there!

The thing with tips is that it has been climbing in value without a website, blockchain explorers, community or miners.
So one has to seriously ask what is fueling this 20 latoshi to 1200 latoshi rise. It is definitely not a pump and dump scheme. Yes recently profits have been taken by some but TIPS seems to be on a long term upward trend. I think the rumors are correct that a consortium, most likely Chinese, is dumping large amounts of fiat into TIPS and then moving it anonymously via the TIPS anomizing dark feature to untraceable locations/wallets. These guys don't give shit about blockchain explorers, websites or promotion. The Fedora network works, moves money fast , and there is lots and lots of it. Now the new, and some old miners, plus new and old "community like" investors do care about some web presence, block explorers and advertising. It gives us all a warm cozy feeling as we contemplate that a lot of newbies will pour into the coin and help stabilize and jack up the price even more so we can all be godzillionaires someday. But frankly I think this coin is going to continue its upward move and be sitting soon right next to Bitcoin and Ethereum with or without any help from the WEST.

Apart from the vanity of the big holders, a Richlist is useful for anyone trying to assess the distribution : Most prospective buyers are put off by a large % held in few hands. So you could argue either way .. A widely held coin would definitely benefit from a Richlist.

I am just curious now, since I used to mine it a couple of years back, now wondering if its worth setting the rigs back up

The question is: Do you have to pay for energy? If yes, how much?
Without energy it would be enough profit for starting up your rigs again, if you have to pay much money it might not be worth it.
How many mh/s can you get with your rig?

*****blockexplorer*****
The blockexplorer is creating all the transactions right now. Sadly i don't see any way for speeding this up, the transactions, blockhashes, txids etc. have to be created.
I will inform you again by tomorrow how far we got with the sync.

Richlist isn't working yet, but to be honest i didn't invest much time yesterday for figureing out why the richlist isn't working.

The rented server is big enough for hosting:
- Blockexplorer
- Download bootstrap/blockchain (we want new interested people being able to get a fast synced wallet)
- Homepage like for other coins with pools, exchange, ...

We are still looking for 2 more for core team.
Anyone being interested please message teillagory or me, we will reply as fast as possible Smiley

Why change algo from scrypt to sha256?
Whats wrong with scrypt or do you just own more sha256 miners?
And why such quick change ? Seems unreasonable to me.

Who are you? Why not contacting me and teilla, we are already planing to keep on developtment.

Why change coins?

I am sry, but i just smell a scam here.
We invest time, setup a block explorer, register new domain, start developing new website and you say:
Hey, we want to change coins, change scrypt to sha256 and other stuff, but hey, we don't message the other 2 ppl trying to get this coin up.
This rly doesn't make any sence to me.

Also, what is with all the billion of coins on cryptsy? You want ppl to loose them?

I suspect they are just trying to drive the price down to buy cheap.

For now and for me personally, testbug and teillagory are the leaders for the efforts to bring TIPS to new grounds, nobody else. These guys have invested time and money to improve this coin.

I predict nothing will happen at 23:00, nothing except that somebody has filled his pockets with cheap TIPS.
