A new ANN thread would also be nice, but i think that this is to early for getting a new ANN, but you could work on the layout already Wink
So we already have 2 ppl willing to get TIPS up Smiley

Anyone else?  Smiley

You sold everything? How much coins did you have? Shocked Well i once had about 150mio TIPS but i also sold most of them in the early beginning on exchanges which disappeared a long time ago Cheesy
well i think interrest is comeing back to fedoracoin, also it realy has some nice features like fast transactions and stable network. this is a good base to build on Smiley

How could you assist us? What are your "skills"? Smiley

I am the connector and someone, who hold things easy. I have no codeskills or somewhere. but my special part is Marketing! Look at twitter. Of course we can go in touch for interesting stuff, and I like it to collect the members and see, what they can do. Its the right way what you do here.

Steve

P.S.: In my best time, I had over 3 billion coins...^_^

You need to do this:

Create a .txt file and paste this info in it:

addnode=188.226.145.183:44889
addnode=162.243.35.205:44889
addnode=192.99.13.67:44889
addnode=68.71.67.225:44889
addnode=83.217.145.16:44889
addnode=86.129.172.5:44889
addnode=79.168.129.77:44889
addnode=83.248.33.223:44889
addnode=81.108.29.80:44889
addnode=67.191.189.132:44889
addnode=95.105.116.189:44889
addnode=122.149.136.199:44889
addnode=50.202.110.30:44889
addnode=212.198.177.53:44889

Save and then rename the .txt file to fedoracoin.conf

Now with that file, place it into your apps/roaming/fedoracoin directory

start the client, wait for a few minutes and it should synch

If it's not good use this :

Do shortcut on your office and in property add this : fedoracoin-qt.exe add -reindex
add space and -reindex after he sync.

This method is ok for all.

As you guys might have noticed, we are trying to get a new TIPS dev team ready. As far as i can tell we are 3 ppl right now, looking for 1-2 more for core dev team.
We will get also get a new wallet then.

The last working wallet i have is this here (i uploaded it to uploaded.to)

http://ul.to/kjqo0d28

As mentioned some posts above you should create a fedoracoin.conf on your %appdata% Fedoracoin folder. Paste thise nodes in it and your wallet will be syncing:

Quote

nodes#1
addnode=srv1.fedoracoin.net
addnode=srv2.fedoracoin.net
addnode=157.161.128.55
addnode=198.50.217.13
addnode=193.227.134.111
addnode=162.243.210.240
addnode=5.255.66.44
addnode=96.61.157.79
addnode=192.186.71.98

nodes#2
addnode=188.226.145.183:44889
addnode=162.243.35.205:44889
addnode=192.99.13.67:44889
addnode=68.71.67.225:44889
addnode=83.217.145.16:44889
addnode=86.129.172.5:44889
addnode=79.168.129.77:44889
addnode=83.248.33.223:44889
addnode=81.108.29.80:44889
addnode=67.191.189.132:44889
addnode=95.105.116.189:44889
addnode=122.149.136.199:44889
addnode=50.202.110.30:44889
addnode=212.198.177.53:44889

The post with our "plans" has been quoted here again:

Further Development of TIPS, please get active community

So here is what i could do:
- I can rent/setup a server for the homepage. we could also host own block explorer on that server. It's not to expensive, small servers cost about 20$ a month. I could also provide a german server with all of the good german stuff, like security (govs/police/etc can't just say: hey, we want to have a look on the server, this has to be desided by a judge)
- If we can't take over the old domain like fedoraco.in i could register a new domain. I am thinking about STH like "tips.-XYZ", because in the early beginning the DEV-team mentioned, that they could think about TIPS being used as a "tip" in for example restaurants. tips.net is already registered, but i can setup any domain we need
- I can, once we have the server/homepage, can register new emailadresses, for example: dev1@tips.XYZ, support@tips.XYZ ... This might be a bit to early, but i am also thinking about letting  community members "buy" an emailadress, so they have their own USERNAME@tips.XYZ
- I can do some work and setup a block explorer, i am also running a pool for TIPS already
- We could have nice stuff like free teamspeak3 server and other things running on linux
- If we have a nice plan, i could also be able to have TIPS added to another exchange without stupid vote/pay in stuff

I am basically working as an it-specialist, but i am also doing some webstuff like linux terminal servers, apache, emails, domains, ...

If we are doing this, i would do a calculation about the costs for 1year of all the hostings, includeing the domain and server. I don't want to get payed for this, i just would be nice if we could gather some BTC so i don't have to pay alone for it

The last and final (so far) halving of the block reward is comeing soon, we should have set everything up until it's ready.

For the further coin development i can hire someone who can create/change the fedoracoin wallet/core with the sourcecode we have. I am sry, but right now i can't do changes by my self, i am trying to teach myself how to do this, but at this point i am not able to do it myself

So fedoracoin community:
If you are interested in getting TIPS back into the game, please post on this thread or PM me, so i can gather some informations about how we can help the community (in other words: i am trying to figure out which jobs could be done by ppl on the forum)

Greetings,

who wants to join the testbug project ?
You do not need to be a coder but you can help otherwise.
Without website without block explorer without dev, watch how Fedoracoin rises.
I let you imagine the capitalization of fedoracoin if there's a team who manage fedoracoin.

Do not be afraid to get involved.  Smiley
