Just posted the below to Reddit.

http://www.reddit.com/r/FedoraCoin/comments/22bj8f/two_new_sites_for_fedoracoin/

The below sites work in conjunction. The first one is we have people sign up and volunteer their skills. The second one is where we can make donations to TiP the people that have volunteered their time.
The site http://myfedora.tips/ is currently a site where you can volunteer and choose what you want to contribute.
This is a projects site for donating to a cause of our choosing. When I say "Our" I mean the Community. The site is http://projects.myfedora.tips/. It is a very simple site. I have the wallet addressing running on a server I have.

great! is there a method coming to suggest projects and vote on them?

You could do it on myfedora.tips and just use the message part or I can make another page for project suggestions.

ah ok, I already registered there. Well since we are talking about suggesting projects, I wanted to talk about this for some time but didn't have the opportunity. In short, I think having a dedicated forum to fedoracoin would be very useful for us. I think there was one and then it was removed some time ago. I see the need for that in order to create sections to discuss different ideas and make progress in parallel. On BCT or reddit, we have just a stream of posts with short memory, if I suggest an idea it's there to see for two days then it's gone. I have gathered a list of ideas that were suggested or that I thought of over the last few months for this purpose but I since we don't have such a platform I don't know where to suggest them. I see the below in the submissions from you.  That is kind of what I was hoping to do with this site.  I will see if there is another format that might fit what you are looking for.  If you want to make the diff suggestions, and then we can put up bounties for them.  We can look into what you would like to do soon.  I'll email you as well, if that is cool.

Who is managing that site?  I reached out to YogiHD (reddit name) to try to get something setup and never heard back.  We don't have time to wait on others to get projects submitted and processed and donations for the work.

So that is when we decided to work on something that we can use now, and not wait around.  I know you know that everyone is tired of waiting on someone to respond to things, so we are doing what we can.

The Video Creator Project is fully funded plus some extra.  Someone gave 46 million TiPS, to awesome.  I want to thank everyone who donated. WOW!

Is it possible to create similar multipool as BlackCoin did? I think that would be huge advantage for TiPS.

I was just looking over this idea, I looked at http://blackcoinpool.com/.  We would need someone to setup and manage this type of project long term.  Could you or do you know someone who could take this project on?  I like the idea they have going with it, but I do not see where the bought back coins go and who is entrusted with that responsibility.

Edit: I looked over it after I saw your post.  I wasn't already doing it, as my statement might lead some to assume.  Lips sealed

Get this upvoted and get yourselves 10k TiPS!

Why I feel merged mining would help us tremendously:

Pros:
  • TiPS will go into the hands of active community members, shibes
  • FedoraCoin fits the Dogecoin meme theme
  • Multipools can't switch between Doge and TiPS to wait for diff to decrease.
  • Shibes get more bang for their buck for same hashing power.
  • It does not require a Dogecoin hard fork.
  • Way more secure for TiPS - .2GH/s community mining -> 70GH/s community mining

Cons:
  • Requires TiPS hard fork
  • We're tied to Doge in public's eye (not a problem for me, though)

It is not democratic when people sell their vote.

Tips has already an active community (and active devs).

I like tipping doges Wink

Yes, because they always mine both at the same time for the same cost which you have currently for each coin.
I'm not sure on this whether it's good or bad  Undecided

Quote

Sounds like they aren't interested in holding the coins. Just a "throw away" to reduce their cost for a decadent expensive coin (sorry, no offense)?!

Quote
Way more secure for TiPS - .2GH/s community mining -> 70GH/s community mining
1. The hashrate is pending between .5 and .8GH/s, not .2
2. I prefer a natural grow of the hash instead because it tells you a lot about community loyality and profitability. This picture could become unclear with the shibes hashes.
If all shibes just dump all their free TIPS then more investments by the TIPS community will be needed to stay at the same price level. This in fact would decrease the value of all coins held by now.
How can we know dogeminers won't dump them all?

That is just going to be like anything else.  Not to state the obvious here, but I am going to anyways, if there is no one to buy them then there is not going to be anyone to dump them.  That said, you would have to convince them to hang onto the coins for future value, once again not to state the obvious.  I am currently mining both coins, and I am just banking them all.

I personally would love to see a reduction to the total number of coins available.
