LOL TiPS is dead.  Then move on and don't waste your time and energy hating.  If you are holding any TiPS sell them to me and you will be free.

I haven't checked this coin since it was higher priced. What happened to kill the price since then? Did the developers leave or changed something about the coin?

The devs sure didn't leave. But multipools harmed us pretty badly for sure. Since then the team is working his ass off in order to provide new services, new projects, good marketing and better visibility, in order for you, the community, to be proud of being part of TiPS.

In fact that means : Reactivated Twitter and Google+ account, multilanguages, new style, fundrising (we already managed to get a Twitter tip bot and a video maker),... And more to come.

guys like you out there just being angry all day long.

you tell me how you feel the day you happen to be scammed on 40 btc by some PoS (piece of shit, not proof of stake) like kumala from vircurex. hope it never happens to you. not a nice experience, leaves you pretty much angry yes.

as for the rest. I'm having so much fun at watching these wannabe coins competing for some real money that you have no idea. best fun ever.

Is the main problem with the coin that there is simply too many of them?

Or is it the mixed marketing with the fedora hat thing while using a ticker of Tips?

I'd think the coin should be at least around where it was, 30-40 latoshi when I previously checked on it.

What happened was that multipools started mining the coin and dumping it.  Millions a day.  I think their was s low down in development as well, but that is no longer the case.  We are working hard to bring the value back.  We really just need to recruit new people to help build the community.  Their are bright times ahead.  We have done a lot if the past couple of weeks.

I am working on this site to help organize community involvement.  http://myfedora.tips/  Status of Projects, Vote on Projects, and Volunteer.  It isn't flashy, but it is functional and has brought some great volunteers.  I hope you can help.

I have done some work on http://myfedora.tips/.  You can see the progress of projects and what is still needed to help out.  You can also still vote, volunteer, and propose new projects. We have accomplished a lot since we made this new thread and I would like to thank everyone that is involved and working hard on bringing TiPS back.

Of Course we have the Twitter TiP Bot.  We have raised nearly 40 million of the 100 million to pay @UnekPL for the work he did.  Status of donations on the blockchain http://fedoracha.in/address/ETVttFNTJQrZCKruKDeDR5bDHUHpEcyGzx

We were mentioned in Dark News http://youtu.be/dnaQ5ma3sq4

We raised 50 MIL TiPS for a Video Creator and their are two people working on videos now.  I would like to see more people jump on this.  We need promotional videos about the features of Fedoracoin, mining video how to, and signing up and trading at an exchange.  Not asking for high end creation of course, just simple step by step for mining and exchanges explanation.

We also have someone working on http://pixels.myfedora.tips/.  This will be a place where people can purchase ad space or just space for a pic with TiPS.

We have recruited a writer.  Check out his work here and let us know what you think. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0ByiYcl9VZS0EUHZFZnRMdUZCMlpRNDFqRmNBa3FkYkY5UGh3/edit?usp=sharing

No credit to us:  The owner of http://www.whattomine.com/ has a mining calculator that can be used for Fedoracoin.

icanprogram and Fayens are working on the new look for http://fedoracha.in/.  The layout will look like the reddit sub. Pic for people who don't reddit: http://imgur.com/kPmxYvD.  I am not sure about the timeline on this, I will ask and see what they say.  I think the it is built out from last I saw it just needs to be put in place.

I have seen a lot of votes for a social media site.  I would like to hear some feedback on this.  Like the look and just the overall style.  My thought was creating a BuddyPress site and then people can create profiles and have active discussions about the coin and whatever else.  Please provide some feedback on this, as it will be for all of us.

worldof.tips store is still being worked on.  When that is done I hope to get the payment processor to work on myne.tips which will be an auction site for Fedoracoin.

We have a lot going and we are getting new supporters everyday.  I believe that if we can gain new community members and finish up some of this projects we will be well on our way up.  We still have to battle some multipools, which is hurting the price right now.  We have hurdles to jump and their is no denying that, but I believe if we work on building up the development and the ecosystem for the coin we will be on top.  Instead of being on top of the Pump and Dump list.

Please volunteer or propose something for the community.  All ideas are taken.  Take care.

Glad to see that there is so much development going on with this coin  Smiley
I'm a believer since day one and will continue to hold my tips indefinitely.

It's a shame that the multipools dumped this coin down so hard, but glad to see that it has
been removed from multipool.us. This will hopefully allow the coin to grow.

I have high hopes for tips in the future.

The new coin symbol and branding also looks nice.
But any idea why there's still the old logo on coinmarketcap?
Would be cool to see the new one there.

Anyhow, great work guys! This coin rocks and I'll keep accumulating more and more
at these ridiculously cheap prices.

I have reached out to coinmarketcap for the image to be updated on their bct thread.  Thanks for pointing that out.  Also thanks for the positive feedback.   Grin
