It's a great idea if a casino can refund funds before freezing an account, even if it's only half the available funds.
It’s almost like a bargain, honestly. In my case, if I believe I should be given the full amount but the casino only gives half, I wouldn’t like that at all. But if I didn’t expect to get anything, like when funds are frozen unexpectedly, and they still offer half, then I’d actually call that a generous casino. At that point, they’re already bending their own rules just to keep the gambler somewhat satisfied. As gamblers, we’re well aware of what we’re doing, sometimes we even try to outsmart the casino by twisting their own TOS against them, claiming they failed to implement something properly and caused us trouble. I’ve seen quite a few users do that. It's a good deal for users because they're still being generous and it also means they're not enforcing the rules to the fullest. On one hand it's good for users and on the other hand it will make the casino questionable as well. Because users who don't commit any violations and play as they should are treated unfairly. And yes, casinos should be able to apply what has become a rule, don't let their generosity also be used by those who originally intended to cheat. They must think that even if their cheating is detected they will get at least half of the balance they have.

Based on what I observed on cases related to account freeze. Casino usually refund the total deposit made and removes all the profit made before they freeze or block the account due to violation on ToS in case there’s a balance remaining on the casino. A halfsie refund depends on the deposit amount over the total balance. Casino will not allowed to let any profit be withdrawn from players account if there’s already a conclusion on the account case. But deposit should be 100% refunded in general but some casino still confiscates them on some cases.

Betpanda as an experienced and successful online gambling company knows how to operate their business, how to provide smooth, convenient and comfortable service to their users without sudden cards for account freeze, fund freeze or anything similar or more severe than that. If they do anything against a user account, they must have many reasons for that severe account related restriction.
They have a good rating here, https://www.trustpilot.com/review/www.bitpanda.comMost of the new comments are positive. There are still some negative ones, but that’s pretty normal for casinos, they always have haters. What I noticed from the feedback is that a lot of users are happy with the way Betpanda works. No KYC required, just make an account and gamble. It’s very simple with Betpanda. You mean this one https://www.trustpilot.com/review/betpanda.io? that linked you provided is too different and is not casino related service. While betpanda trustpilot review is not so good, they have more negative reviews than positive and even the new ones which opposed by what you have said by whatever reason they experience, most users here say otherwise. Yeah, my bad on that one. I didn’t realize there was a copycat casino using the Bitpanda name. What surprised me more is that it actually has a better rating than the one you shared. Now it makes me wonder, how reliable is Trustpilot really. Are those reviews actually free from bias? Because it feels odd that a not-so-known casino ends up with a better rating than a popular one. That doesn’t really add up to me.

It’s not a copycat casino rather a financial broker platform that operates in EU. I think saw their logo before being advertised on football league matches and I thought it was this casino but soon I realized it’s a different business. They are actually reputed brand on their own industry based on my research below. It’s understandable since they are not a casino that frequently have less complaints.

Thanks man, another mistake on my part. It honestly didn’t cross my mind that there could be a similar name to Betpanda. I was also under the impression that Trustpilot was mostly about casino reviews, since that’s what I usually see referenced here. I only shared another reference just to avoid sounding biased, since in the forum, they have a lot of supporters and they have build a good reputation already. I guess I’ll stop checking Trustpilot for this stuff. It just ends up confusing me anyway, .

I think you shared the wrong Trustpilot link. That's for Bitpanda (crypto exchange), not Betpanda (casino). They're two different platforms.
You are right about that, but I never before heard about that exchange. I dont trust reviews on Trustpilot because they can be purchased and written by competition casino, but there are some things that can be improved for all casinos based on reviews. I saw Betpanda review is available on other website Coinbets that has registered account in bitcointalk forum: https://coinbets.com/casino/review/betpanda/

They are verifying every review including the content and the credential of the user that submit the review that gives a much accurate score than trustpilot. It’s sad to see that Betpanda gets a low score review for the mere No KYC marketing line.

When it comes to reviews of online crypto casinos, I mainly rely on btcgosu.com. The site was created by a bitcointalk forum member @efialtis and has been around for quite some time. There you will also find the following review of Betpanda, which is much more positive: https://www.btcgosu.com/review/betpanda-casino/btcgosu also updates its reviews on an ongoing basis and withdraws recommendations if there are justified accusations against a particular casino. There are also regular promotions, such as additional bonuses when you use sign-up links. There are also promotions like this from time to time: SourceIt is therefore well worth checking the site regularly.

I honestly don’t think we should fully trust those review sites, as even if some of them are popular, I still believe the best reviews come from this forum. Once you’re familiar with how the forum works and how the community thinks, it becomes much easier. So easy, you can check the announcement threads, read the feedback, and if you understand the trust system, you can also look at a casino’s trust score. That alone feels way more reliable to me than reviews from random websites that aren’t even part of a forum community.

Is Betpanda now required to KYC?... 2 days ago I received an email saying there is a routine check on “your” account and need to complete KYC.
I was a bit surprised to receive this email... because I felt that I could still remain anonymous, even though I myself did not abuse any bonuses because it has been a few weeks not betting on Betpanda, by receiving this email at this time it is still not KYC.
Did you receive the same email?

I don't think that everyone got that email as it states that it was a "routine check" on your account and they must have notice something and they decided to ask you for KYC. Just a question were you using multi account at betpanda, used VPN with chaging too frequenet locations or maybe did a big deposit or withdrawals and that may have flagged their system. Anyways, all these non-KYC casino can ask for KYC anytime and we can do nothing about it. Its written in their terms and conditions that they can ask for KYC on demand.

If you do not have any balance at the casino, do you think that you make a new account and start gambling from that account and leave this account untouched. They may close this account as you haven't completed the KYC and that's shouldn't concern you as you have no balance in here. Yeah, they can ask for KYC in the new account too but it won't be immedaite. You can get away with it and shouldn't be doing the KYC.

No need to create a new account... I will still follow their procedures according to the applicable ToS and eventually the casino will definitely do KYC to many users for other reasons such as strict regulations from the government so this is not strange. I don't know if this KYC can be ignored or not, later I will try to deposit again to Betpanda, if it requires KYC then I will do it because with a sense of trust Betpanda is quite reputable.

Casinos already have systems in place, so they can usually detect if you create a new account, especially if you’re using the same device or IP. That’s where you can get into trouble and end up being accused of multi-accounting. There’s really no such thing as a fully no-KYC casino anymore. If you actually read their information and TOS, you’ll always see KYC mentioned somewhere, so they may not enforce it right away, but they can ask for it anytime. That’s basically how crypto casinos operate now where some aren’t strict at the start, but later on they might require verification. So it’s always better to be prepared and not try to outsmart the system.

I think this comment is exaggerated. There are still reputable and even new casinos (i just saw it few days ago in gambling board) that operate without requiring kyc. These are usually unlicensed casinos (or not under strict license providers that enforce aml /kyc) and instead build their reputation over time through consistent operation and user trust.

That’s a different case. Unlicensed casinos obviously should require KYC because operating without it is illegal. What I’m really referring to are licensed casinos that promote themselves as “no KYC,” but in reality, they can still ask for KYC anytime they feel it’s necessary. Because of that, we shouldn’t be misled by the title alone. We really have to read the TOS and understand how they operate based on their own rules, since that’s where the real conditions are explained.

Casinos do not go overboard when freezing accounts because they must have considered many things including the offense committed so that in the end when the account is proven guilty even if there is a lot of money in the account everything will look quite difficult to recover because it will be considered as evidence of fraud or misconduct from their site. It's just like when a police officer catches a thief with evidence and it would be ridiculous when the evidence obtained is given to the thief even if it's only half of it.
It is a severe action against user accounts which can trigger panic in their users and sometimes panic and uncontrolled responses from their users. It potentially results in negative effect on their casino reputation so all business companies must avoid such consequences as most a possible. I think it's naive of many gamblers to attack sites even for reputational reasons when it's clearly their own fault for not following the rules. In this case not only on betpanda but every site because they start a business with predetermined rules and it will be a funny thing when there are violators but they let it go on the grounds that when the action actually makes a bad reputation. Because for me it's a very good thing when they try to eradicate bad gamblers and it can be considered as a preventive measure which means they are serious about running their business.

There’s really no such thing as a fully no-KYC casino anymore.
And I believe we should always mentioned the part of being license to emphasize it since there’s truly some decentralized casino out there that still offer complete no KYC but no licensed. But I believe most of us in the forum is now very cautious to trust casino that operates anonymously due to the high risk of being scammed since they can run away without a track although this can happened too on licensed casino but still at least we have license provider as leverage to file a legal case.
