That’s one of the reasons why I don’t trust Telegram channels. Most of the time, those apps are full of impersonators of crypto casinos because they know there are huge communities of gamblers there. To be honest, I feel bad for the people who fall victim to them. That’s why the gambling community needs to be triple vigilant. Don't just click any link instead they should know the actual official website link for Betpanda and their other legitimate mirror sites. Anyway, thanks for the reminder, friend.

As all other places, you must prepare knowledge and basic skills to protect you against scammers, impersonators. In Telegram, there are many scammers and impersonators who can invite you to their scam groups or impersonate project admins/ moderators in community channels. To fight against impersonators, let's remember admins/ moderators never DM first to any member in their project community and chat group. If anyone DMs you first, it's scammer and impersonator. To avoid adding to scam groups, let's customize your Telegram account settings. Some Telegram tips for newcomers in the crypto community.Customize Telegram settings for Group. Most common scams in Telegram.

I just want to share an incident from a few days ago after I joined the Betpanda Telegram community. Someone impersonated Betpanda and sent phishing links disguised with a URL shortener. This isn't new, but it's worth reminding everyone to be careful, especially with random DMs on Telegram.
snip
You're so brave to click on the link directly, if I were you, I probably wouldn't have dared to open the link and immediately ignored the message because it could potentially contain malware. but thanks for sharing, we know that Telegram is a nest of scammers, so many fake accounts try to trick people by sending phishing links. I remember that I once sent a message in the Betpanda discussion on Telegram about bonuses, and I got several messages from scammers, it just shows how many scammers there are and we need to be careful not to fall for their scams.

Admins cannot contact us randomly and in general, admins never send messages first to users if there is no related communication, to avoid fraud, it is better to ask in the community or live chat first if there is an offer to avoid becoming a victim of phishing fraud.

Telegram is full of scams, so usually those who send DMs first are definitely scammers! Because an official admin will never DM first. I also found a new betpanda domain ( betpandafree. io) don't know if this platform is just for fun aka Demo or what is clearly suspicious even though the description says the game without financial transactions, still if you enter the email and password it can be dangerous, betpanda support doesn't even know about this domain.

KYC is required by regulators, but it's not always the main reason it's requested during large withdrawals or long processing times. If KYC were the main reason, casinos would require it at registration or on first deposit.
This is true, but I think it depends on license they own and country they registered their casino. I know some casinos that asked to complete verification as soon I started creating account, and others asked me when I initiated my first withdrawal. It is not a big difference, but I recommend first reading the terms of any casino before creating account. I prefer using only casinos without strict KYC. I think Ivory Coast and Algeria will make the semi finals, what do you think, guys?
No, my bet was on Nigeria and Egypt. I think Morocco is going to win in the final.

Nigeria was still too much for the quarterfinals against Algeria as there was not much Algeria could do as they lost the duel in the midfield and possession from the start which gave Nigeria enough freedom to claim an absolute victory. But Egypt's match against Ivory Coast is really the best for this semi-final. Kossounou's poor communication and interception error at the start of the first half was well punished by Marmoush and for Egypt's third goal, it was also a poor partnership for the offside trap that made the Ivory Coast look not so good. Although there were 2 extra goals and the Ivory Coast tried until the end, it did not give them a good chance and Egypt managed to win with poor possession.

I click/open the link on not very used browser, usually used for this kind of things - testing links, etc. Also i use a browser with strong settings of adblocker (uBlock) and i use adguard dns on my device so it's safer for malware, pop ads or js based redirect. But not totally secure, so still risky. I also found a new betpanda domain (betpandafree. io) don't know if this platform is just for fun aka Demo or what is clearly suspicious even though the description says the game without financial transactions, still if you enter the email and password it can be dangerous, betpanda support doesn't even know about this domain.
That's a very suspicious site, if talking about free games, main domain of betpanda has free games too, most of the games have free play option too so no need to go suspicious sites for that. This is true, but I think it depends on license they own and country they registered their casino. I know some casinos that asked to complete verification as soon I started creating account, and others asked me when I initiated my first withdrawal.
Now that you mentioned it and after checking, it really does depend on the regulatory license. Most crypto casinos still don't require strict kyc at registration. What I don't like are casinos that ask for basic details e.g. name, address, or mobile number, during sign-up. Without actual id verification, collecting that info feels unnecessary and irrelevant.

So already Senegal and Morocco are already into the semi finals and today we have Algeria vs Nigeria and Egypt vs Ivory Coast to see who will join them.
Nigeria completely dominated the game with Algeria; Algeria had no shot on target for the entire game and would have had no shot on target had the game kept going. Some of the Nigerian players are really on top of their performance in this competition, players like Iwobi and Lookman. Osimhen has always been passionate, so his contribution is not new to me. For Ivory Coast, I feel sorry for them; Egypt really decided to have their best game today, and that earned them the win. Nigeria to face Morocco Next in the semis.

I don’t think so. That’s already part of the KYC process. If you feel it’s irrelevant and think you can just put in wrong information and still play, then that’s on you. But once they ask you to submit documents and the details don’t match what you declared earlier, that’s when problems usually start. And it gets worse if the stake is high or you’re trying to withdraw a big amount. Better to just be honest from the start and follow the KYC properly when they eventually ask for it. It saves a lot of trouble later on.

Name and address too especially if its not from KYC service page that is asked on registration process. Usually i dump a casino and add it on my block note list if they asked about such info in sign up process, so i don't need to put fake info about those in the first place.

I guess the safest option is sticking to casinos that don’t require KYC in the first place, that way you avoid issues later on. Most problems only really show up once KYC is actually required and documents are submitted. That said, casinos should be clear about this from the start. A proper disclaimer would help, so players don’t end up being accused of something later on just because of KYC details. I haven’t really heard of cases where people got flagged just for that, but it’s still better to be careful. In reality, a lot of casinos just let you sign up with an email and start playing, and for many people, that’s already enough.

You’re talking about Betpanda anyway, so I don’t really see the need to look for another casino when it’s already being offered here. They market themselves as an anonymous crypto casino, so it wouldn’t make sense for them to suddenly push KYC on users, as long as everyone is playing fair and not doing anything shady. If we’re honest with our gambling and not cheating, things should stay simple. I’m not sure why other casinos are being dragged into the discussion, if I’m understanding this correctly, let’s just stick to this one.

Well, how is that enough that you signup, deposit and play but when you press the withdrawal button then all of sudden you come to know that you have to do the KYC for any withdrawals. Yeah, if you aren't interested in withdrawals and you're ok with playing only, then you don't require KYC but in that case you actually win nothing becasue all your winning stays within the gambling site. Yeah you can still gamble with that winning amount , if thats the only thing that you need.

However, of course, if your winnings in an online casino have already accumulated into a large amount, wouldn't you think about withdrawing it? Let's say your winnings reached 1 million dollars would you still think about using that to keep gambling in the crypto casino? Personally, if I were in that situation, I would definitely be thinking about withdrawing it already. I would do everything just to be able to take out what I won from the casino, even if it means I have to submit a KYC (Know Your Customer) to their gambling platform.

I really hate those casino who will let you play so easy, make a deposit fast but when it comes to withdrawal its a decade or asked for KYC. I just play big on that casino and if hits jackpot then ill do KYC if not, ill just continue to hit the goal but never deposit again. Thats why I stay with Betpanda,

I'm not actively playing on Betpanda at the moment, so I really don't know, hence the question: Are you sure that won't also be the case with Betpanda if you want to withdraw a larger amount (> $100, for example)? The behavior you describe is actually common practice at all casinos I know of (and don't require full KYC for registration, such as Roobet). However, casinos don't do this because they enjoy it and like to boss their customers around, but because such procedures are often regulated either by national laws or by the gambling license used in each case.

I didn’t say they won’t release withdrawals. I’ve tried a lot of casinos where I didn’t need KYC and I could keep gambling like normal, no issues. I think you’re overthinking it. You only really need to worry if you’re playing on a shady casino. Yeah, if you aren't interested in withdrawals and you're ok with playing only, then you don't require KYC but in that case you actually win nothing becasue all your winning stays within the gambling site. Yeah you can still gamble with that winning amount , if thats the only thing that you need. You don’t get what I’m saying, do you. Have you even gambled in real life, where it’s totally possible to gamble without KYC? Ask the gamblers here. I’m sure a lot of them have actual experience and can tell you what really happens, not just what you read online.

Maybe what he meant is this: if you win big, that’s when the casino will finally make you follow the KYC rules. So if you assume it’s okay and they’ll never ask, that’s a wrong assumption because sooner or later they can require it. They’re a KYC casino for a reason. Even if they advertise themselves as “anonymous,” if you actually read the terms, you’ll see the definitions and the rules spelled out there.
