No official support for linux Axiom miner from our side. Sorry, you will have to wait for linux gurus to port our changes to linux environment.

It compiles fine on linux for me.

not for me pallas ...

i get very similar errors ...

is it a straight compile for you? ... intel cpu? ... amd? ...

my compile system is amd ...

#crysx

I just did:

git clone ....
cd
./autogen.sh
./configure
edited the Makefile to add -lcurl and -lcrypto (for some reason they do not get added automatically, maybe it's missing some m4 part, it happens on many cpuminer versions)
make

According to order details, you tried to mine leocoin, but it does not use scryptnf algo thus all your shares were rejected with reason share above target.

Scrypt jane is not equal as scryptnf. Our scryptnf has full name: Scrypt-Adaptive-nFactor.

No, factors are different - what Vertcoin originally used before it was forked to Lyra.

Yes, the website you linked has confusing title. What it explains there is Scrypt Jane and not Scrypt-Adaptive-nFactor.

Vertcoin is forking to a new mining algo, a modified lyra2re.
Will you add a new algo or replace the old one (or none of the two)?

Huh, these guys at Vertcoin are really fanatic with those algo forks Wink ... we'll take a look at it and we'll probably add the new algo.
Hi Nicehash

Has the new lyra2re algo been implemented on nicehash yet? I'm currently mining with the old one.

Many thanks

Hi, I have a huge number of available blade servers that can mine axiom with their CPU's but all of them are behind firewall that is allowing only 80 and 443. Is there a solution?

setup a proxy outside of the firewall ( using stratehm stratum proxy or similar ) - and get the blades to send their worker addresses to that proxy while the proxy mines on nicehash - suprnova or maxminers - utilizing the open ports of the firewall ...

at least theoretically that should work ...

HARDFORK --

The old algo is mining on a bogus fork.  The new algo gets rejects on NiceHash.  People are paying for bogus hash.

We are in process of implementing the new algorithm Lyra2REv2, we have to implement a new validator and test to make sure everything works fine. We never rush on adding new algorithms before things are stabilized and tested. Of course, the original Lyra2RE algorithm will stay and there is nothing wrong with it - there are several other coins, besides Vertcoin, that are still using the original version of Lyra2RE. And to make clear - Lyra2RE algorithm hasn't forked, only Vertcoin (the coin itself) has forked to new algorithm Lyra2REv2.

Thank you for using our service and kind regards,
NiceHash team
