Not everyone has enough power to solo mine and lot of the people mining would take around 2 to 3 weeks or more to solo mine a block and still then it is luck needed to generate and have no guarantee. With pool or NiceHash least you have some chance to earn BTC and when prices go down convert to ETH is what I have done over last 4 to 5 days and found much better results this way. |

With pool or NiceHash least you have some chance to earn BTC and when prices go down convert to ETH is what I have done over last 4 to 5 days and found much better results this way. If you're mining with such small amounts it doesn't make sense to use NiceHash even then. To find a block in 2-3 weeks means you're mining with less than 12MH. Not even worth to fire it up for those scraps IMO. Even then it's better to mine to ethpool.org (NOT DWARFPOOL) and get an 'expected' solo payment as your hash rate supports.. |

So.. got the latest version of niceminer, now getting c++ runtime errors under windows 10 64 bit, so which version do i need in order to run the latest version.

Hi,
last saturday I had more than 0.001 BTC in ethereum unexchanged balance and didn't get paid, today I have more or less 0.003 BTC and it is still unexchanged.
Why it takes so much time to go to unpaid balance?
Did I do something wrong? (I used the same BTC wallet address as scrypt mining)

[Solved]: It did auto exchange when reached (+-)0.048BTC.

what is going on here?
Anyone else seeing the same thing? For me the credit given, immature and unexchanged catched up and total time to get the payment was the same as before. So in total no difference, just confusing. all the best. |

Getting a lot of errors "Got nonce for unknown work in slot xxx" on my KNC Titan. I have never seen that before. Yes, I have nonce subscription on.

Is there a problem connecting to NH with sha rigs? All of my rigs show NH as "Dead".
EDIT: My rigs are showing that the US server is "Alive ' now.

Is there a problem with X11? I get stratum authentication failed on all servers. Ethereum working fine. Running Nicehash miner v1.3.0.1 All working normally now. |

Hi, im still having problems, downloading it from the github.
It stops after 40mb download.
Is there any solution for this? I have no problembs with downloading files on other sites.
Same issue. 39MB downloaded and the ... nothing. The "upgrade" only file is downloading fine. What could be the issue ?? |

Most probably your Anti-Virus is scanning zip package and removes .exe binaries right after download from inside of downloaded zip package. Most probably your Anti-Virus is scanning zip package and removes .exe binaries right after download from inside of downloaded zip package. See also "My anti-virus is blocking the application" section here: https://github.com/nicehash/NiceHashMiner#troubleshooting. Disable anti-virus temporary when you try to download. Yes, that did it! TX. What I had to do it to disable Avast (my antiV) for 10 min so I could d/l the file and extracting it. Then added the entire NiceHash dir as an exception and everything returned to normal. I had to download again because all of the sudden (like 2 days ago) NiceHasminer started to give me a Windows exception of "file not found" on Etherum mining (eveything was working fine before). I now realized that the Antiviru s had "silently" removed the Ethminer.exe. Now i have to understand what has changed since 2 days ago. The only thing I can think of is a few Windows automatic upgrades but i have to check if AVG was updated as well. |
