Read that dev team won't be changing PoS to 12 hour due to ''technical issues''. It exists as 8 hours in BC, how technical could this be? So PoS will work, yes, but you will have to stake for 28 days as it is written now, if there aren't any unknown changes at this time. They are in contact with the Foundation, so the dev's have resources to turn to if it's over their heads.

Why is 12 hour important?

Because, as it stands with PoS at 28 days, people will be opening and checking their wallets once per month and not leaving them online, this causes people to rely on the original nodes for transaction confirms, confirms will take longer to get, especially if they change the block time to 2+ minutes. Fast PoS will result in fast transaction speeds, establishing itself rightfully as the clone it was meant to be. So far, imo, no color coin will be like BC. WC had a chance with 12 hour PoS... Let the dev's know in the other thread! This is our ONLY chance for redemption! Timing is everything!

Even if it causes a delay in releasing the new wallet, the reward will be MUCH greater; i.e. higher market price.

Be sure to head over to the IRC's and stake your case.  The technical discussions are occuring there.  28 days sounds like alot.  Unless its speciffically to reduce the open supply of active coins.  Could lead to ppl banning together to be unstaked, when others are staked, and cause volitility, but that can be done in 12 hours too i guess.

"pos without pos" is a Thing that happened in the PAST. so the nowadays-team isn't responsible for that.
"mongonzo Manipulation" - it's not a proven fact and therefore useless to repeat 100 times. it won't be more proven the more often u repeat that.
"no new wallet" - well it takes time, as i said. even if you as a non-software-developer can't imagine that there are programs out there that Need more than 5 minutes of time to get written.

That's significant enough for me. He also said, not verbatim but close, he was pulling WC out of the ditch, doing repairs, filling up the gas tank and letting WC go. Well this to me qualifies as a repair that the manufacturer screwed up. 12 hour was the basis why many people chose WC. Offer a product but then give them something else. That, to me, is more of a scam than the original dev cashing out.

The way this has been community driven, and with devs from other coins pitching in... I can't imagine then them, not listening to good reason.  There should be a review period period, or announcment period to get ppl swithced over to the new wallet.  At that point, final specs should be approved by the community.

I'm pushing for the 12 hour in this wallet release since it is HUGE, but if it comes in wallet after this one, I'd be ok with that too, shake out some weak hands in the process. But 12 hour is the core of WC....
