It's not pleasant to see such things, but I think that people who want to see the truth can easily recognize when someone without facts is telling lies. Someone who says one thing for days, and everyone else shows him that it's simply not true, obviously has bad intentions or serious vision problems.

Even haters need some brainpower to think of meaningful arguments against the subjects or entities they want to hate. It wasn't the case this time.

I'm going to try it, I've always preferred Electrum to Unstoppable personally, so this is really cool to see it available on F-Droid.

They are created for different use cases. Personally, I see no benefits in using Unstoppable Wallet for bitcoin over Blue Wallet or Electrum on mobile. But if you want to work with altcoins, then you can't do that with Blue Wallet and Electrum. In that case, Unstoppable Wallet is a solid open-source choice.

Yeah sure but till now Electrum was not available on F-Droid, and Unstoppable was the only credible and recognised possible choice that I know about available on this store. I try to avoid the Play Store as much as possible, especially when it comes to wallets.

Electrum LTC hasn't updated from release 4.2.2.1 on 2022-06-05 so eXch shouldn't recommend it. Litewallet's their official mobile wallet.

Electrum is now officialy on F-Droid, thanks to one of eXch team members who helped and cooperated with core Electrum developer SomberNight to make their code compatible with F-Droid standards.

That is good news, but I wouldn't blindly trust anything coming from F-Droid.
There should be a way to manually add direct repository link for Electrum github page and install app directly from their official page.
This should work for both download and app updates.

I would also suggest checking out Stack wallet and Cake wallet for multicoin wallets, as alternative for Unstoppable wallet, they are available on desktop and mobile devices.

You're right but I suggest you try and open an issue on their Github repository to make these suggestions. I did suggest something at some point, and I was surprised they added it. Not right away obviously, but they eventually did.

I never specified that it's a solid bitcoin wallet nor would I ever put it on a list of recommended bitcoin wallets. It's a solid multi-wallet choice for those who hold altcoins. If you work with Ethereum or Tron native tokens, for example, and their ERC/TRC assets, you don't need coin control because Ethereum and Tron transactions aren't UTXO based like Bitcoin. They are account based blockchains where you keep everything in the same address and spend from that address.

Sorry, but I think you are wrong and outdated about this.
There is coin control option in Unstoppable wallet, in settings just select UTxO Expert Mode and than you can manually select what you what to spend from your balance.
Other interesting settings are also available there like time lock, etc.
Also note that eXch is exchange with different coins and they suggested wallet that supports most coins they have listed.

I thought it was just me being dumb, I can't find it either.  I'm also using Android.

Admittedly, I have no reason to use Unstoppable Wallet.  Electrum and Monerujo do all of what I need done on a mobile device.

On my iOS, the coin control option is on the sending screen, without needing to access the advanced settings, just above the fee rate, there is the option: UTxOs and the number of UTxOs available in the wallet, in my case: 1.



It seems that Unstoppable doesn't have a way to set a passphrase, I tried a few weeks ago, but it seems that it really doesn't, so at the moment I'm more inclined to prefer using Stack Wallet or Coinomi.


Yesterday I used eXch's service to exchange BTCxLTC, everything went well, I loved the service, I found the fees attractive compared to other services, I will definitely use it again!

I agree, the fees are more than fair given the quality of the service provided.

For me, the following idea is what puts eXch really above all others competitors:

Bisq is one and the only truly decentralized exchange which we often recommend to our customers without any greed feelings, since our primary goal is not to make money but to defend some cypherpunk ideas instead.

Defending ideas that (I think) brought us here in the first place, more than "profit first", is something exceptional enough to be highlighted IMO.

They demonstrate this regularly, whether through large donations (to SimpleX, Thorchain, or Tor Project among others), by participating in/financing the development of a light Bisq client, or, for example by providing the first Lightning-Network compatible wallet available on F-Droid.

When I see how some other companies in the industry treat their users (1 , 2 , 3) (like "profit before principles/rights", without even mentioning cypherpunk ideas btw...), I'm glad we have access to a reliable, non-intrusive service like eXch.

Feel free to add Poloniex to that list of unfair crypto exchanges. I read somewhere on the forum yesterday that their bitcoin withdrawal fee is over $200. It's something like 0.003 BTC if I am not mistaken. It's pretty clear that they want you to give your bitcoin to them and either trade it for some altcoin or withdraw a "bitcoin-token" using an alternative blockchain. Either way, the result is the same: the BTC stays with them.

Usually on other channels, blogs, social media and the like. I guess it is also possible through signatures, although I am not sure if it is allowed for campaign participants.
For example, I can send you my aff link through PM, but only if you ask, I can't do it arbitrarily.

Are you sure that is the correct information? I know that some CEX (like YoBit) had a fixed withdrawal fee that was quite high even when they had some reputation, but if someone asks for even $200 to withdraw your BTC to a non-custodial wallet, then it's not a fee, it's pure robbery.


@examplens, considering that @icopress advises not to put ref links in the signature, there is always the possibility of using a website link in your profile - that way you get some kind of visibility and the option of not having to send a PM to anyone even if they ask you for a link.
