For every delay I am selling maids. I am starting to wonder if I should just dump it all at once and be done with it. Every update is another disappointment.

Maidsafe looks very promising. We need to be more patient, I`m pretty sure this will be very successful, one day.

Maid is not getting any attention at all. Patience has been the key here for years but you guys are clearly doing something wrong. Crypto community as a whole does not care about MAID at all, its just an old shitcoin for most of the people. Need hype, new exchanges, marketing etc.

Dear Maidsafe team -
I think developing the entire ecosystem is great but I think for the investors in Maidsafe, the best approach would be to split the project into 2 components -
1. Decentralized Storage - This could be leveraged by companies that have current applications and would utilize only the storage layer of maidsafe. This will give an opportunity for companies to explore the decentralized storage part of maidsafe and build apps on it using their existing technologies, web sites accessed by current web browsers etc. This would be huge from business standpoint and could lead to interesting partnerships for decentralized, secure storage.
2. The second part of this project should include developing SAFE web sites, accessed by SAFE browser etc etc. The second component is essentially developing the entire ecosystem (for anyone interested).
I think the stand alone decentralized storage component of this project has huge potential on its own and should be marketed/pitched separately. It should not be clubbed with the entire ecosystem development as it may turn back a huge market.
Just a thought.
Again, I am non-technical so if I am not making sense, please ignore. I just think that the decentralized storage part of this project is a multi-trillion dollar opportunity in itself.

we are almost at the stone cold all time bottom in regards to MAID/BTC. Good time to pickup if you belive in MAID, I certainly don`t anymore, just waiting to get some return on my investment and GTFO. BTW a bit weird that 47% of the volume comes from the hitBTC. We would need the new hot exchanges like binance and kucoin in order to see some price increase, otherwise we will just bleed out.

They should book a huge hall for their next conference and print out 1000 free tickets and give them out. That would spike the price.

1. Decentralized Storage - This is already being developed/done by IPFS, SIA, STORJ, Bittorrent, Gnutella, USENET, etc. There is no need or demand for yet more vaporware in this space. 2. SAFE web sites/browser - This is already being developed/done by TOR, I2P, Freenet, Share, etc. There is no need or demand for yet more vaporware in this space. Maidsafe isn't even a real shitcoin. It's just a temporary placeholder token that is supposedly going to be traded for actual Maid shitcoins at some point far off in the distant future. Maidsafe isn't making any substantial progress or technological innovations; it's just trying and failing to rehash previous technologies in an unnecessarily complex and bloated morass of scope-creep for the sake of keeping Team Maidsafe gainfully employed and looking busy.

This is where you are completely off and clearly don't understand wat The SAFE Network will bring. "IPFS, SIA, STORJ, Bittorrent, Gnutella, USENET, etc." Non of these networks have a decentralized DNS to begin with. SAFE already has. So join Alpha 2 and register: safe://icebreaker It will be all yours, protected by a private key. Imagine what this will bring to organisations like Wikileaks for example. That organisation still uses servers and domain name providers etc. SAFE will also be 100% autonomous. Non of the projects you name are. Maybe with an exception for Freenet. But Freenet is slow and there's no data integrity. Uploaded a website?? Hopefully someone opened it otherwise it's gone when it's out of cache. Same for torrent files etc. "2. SAFE web sites/browser - This is already being developed/done by TOR, I2P, Freenet, Share, etc." Again you're off. TOR will connect you to the clearnet over some proxies. SAFE browser won't. It won't connect you to the clearnet. That's to keep you SAFE. It will only load from safe://websites on the SAFE Network. I2P uses servers by the way. They are hidden behind proxies but still they are servers which could go down. So overall: what you miss is the fact that SAFE will be 100% autonomous. And has it's own browser, DNS, Login system and NO SERVERS. And it will come with 100% data integrity. Not touched your file for 4 years?? It will be there. Here's the weekly dev update: https://safenetforum.org/t/maidsafe-dev-update-february-22-2018/21814Enjoy!@!
