Just be patient.

Quote
Hi Iancu,

We are hoping to be able to complete the issuance of all MaidSafeCoins later today (all things going well) so you should have them very soon. I really appreciate your patience and
many thanks for participating in the SAFE project.

Regards Nick

Along the present, more practical lines, when are my Safecoins going to show up in my Masterchest wallet?

If that's not how it works, how do I access my Safecoins?

You can see the number of coins allocated in the spreadsheet for BTC payments and the transaction id's noted there are progressing as they work on those. I guess when just depends then how far down the list you are.
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1r4fv57JDNkW55P5dnwPmHF3rOhdt1Jn5I2DZFuZfmfU/htmlview?pli=1
If you made payment with MSC then lookup is https://masterchest.info/lookupadd.aspx?address=ADDRESSGOESHERE

Thanks. I'm not far down the line, but I don't see them in Masterchest wallet, yet.

I see there is a red bar across the spreadsheet. I'm guessing that it is to show the point they are at in processing.

I think maidsafe could sent the "stolen coin" to mtgox.
Then give market more ipo. Kiss

As Dan Larimer (founder of Bitshares) answered to suggestion's like that:

"Sending them back to the thief?   That makes no sense.   They should either be sent to the bankruptcy court, destroyed as dividends to bitcoin holders, or used for development of maidsafe... the only thing that must not happen is the issuance of Safecoin to the thief."

Column H "Outgoing MSAFE Transaction ID", in that spread sheet, shows the transactions that have been processed.

Copy the first "Backer's Address" in the spread sheet and input it into masterchest.info to see an example of how processed transactions look with their MaidSafeCoin (SPT) balance.

Yes , this is good idea.

No it's not, it's by far the stupidest idea yet.

What if one of those intermediary addresses between the "stolen mtgox coins" address and the MaidSafe address is an exchange? The thief dumps some coins on an exchange, and some innocent third party withdraws coins later on and "invests" in ScamSafeMaidSafe. Now MaidSafe hold the coins hostage (not that anyone investing has a signed GPG contract with some indication as to what remedies are available or what arbitration could be accepted) and the poor innocent person is screwed out of their money.

Which is why you should NOT play Bitcoin Police, not even if you believe you have "direct evidence" of someone directly spending coins they have stolen.

Here is what Maidsafe claim :

A new p2p Internet. Free and decentralised.

Here is what it is (so far) :

A copy of a 14 years old open source project named freenet.
A centralized closed source software that need you to trust the staff not to look at your data and sell it to NSA.
An incentive to centralize all the network because of the competition for money. As a consequence, your data could be deleted and lost.
An unfair IPO at a fixed max amount that force people to send in a hurry without checking the project.
A huge pump&dump manipulation for MasterCoin.
A future pedophile network.
A money laundering for MtGox stolen Bitcoins.

You had me until "A future pedophile network". So the government should shutdown TOR because it has pedophile content on it?

Looks like they've barely started. Might be a long while until I see my Safecoins.

Holly Crap the trolls really got a foot hold on this tread in the last couple of pages - from making tags like 'scamsafe' to some wacky MtGox coin washing conspiracy theory... What's next.

Note to OP, give yourself moderation powers next time you make an ANN thread. Trolls are hungry around here and they are never better fed than they are in the most popular threads.

I'm still cracking up from the wanta be detective moron Templar that spells "they're" -  "there're" - holly crap it's amazing what complete idiots can do to a legit thread so quickly. haha

Well now you're just making yourself look silly. His first language is Spanish (see Blockchain.info links), but there're is a legitimate contraction of "there are" and is perfectly grammatically correct in the sentence "[There are] big guys involved in this scam". Being incapable of parsing that and assuming he meant "they're" is just puerile, most especially coming from someone that fails to spell "holy" correctly when throwing profanities around.

Saw the 900 BTC investment and commented that one person owns 2.5% of the maidsafe IPO.
Now if http://www.cryptocoinsnews.com/news/breaking-mt-gox-maidsafe-gox-coins-flowing-maidsafe-ipo/2014/04/24 is to be believed that is more along the lines of 70%

Are you fucking kidding me?
This bullshit fixed price ipo was already unfair (you had to see the IPO within 12 hours AND have access to funds quickly) and now we are talking about a majority of the safecoins were bought with stolen bitcoins?

Not only did someone steal mega bitcoins but they also monopolized the safecoin IPO.

GREAT PLANNING GAIS!

Next time try making it fair, jackasses.

What a clusterfuck. I thought a lot of those huge Mastercoin investments at the start at over the top prices were very shady, and I bet these are all being done by a few in collusion.

Makes you wonder if the Maidsafe was in on it. Its a very sad start.

Oh yes, because "there're" is a word used by people, for sure. Troll Idiot.

Sorry for throwwwwwing you a biscuit trollllllllllllllllllll. There's a few more words that have extra letters in them for you (quite different than misspelling something). Let's see what you can do with that. Go ahead and derail the thread some more by sticking up for the mexican dude that's trying to derail it. Or you could just go light yourself on fire and make the world a better place.

Try to hijack threads much? You're not off to a good start if you're trying to promote your own agenda. So far you just look like some douche bag trying to jump on the gravy boat.

A private reg whois out of Panama and a website put together in 3 minutes. You surely are far more credible than the msafe project...

Where do these morons come from..... Any time there's something successful or a chance to steal some spotlight and money, the cockroaches come flooding out from under the stove to get a piece.

LOL... wow..

They actually hijacked my thread.  From Jan 27th, 2014.  It's here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=434072.msg5023259#msg5023259

And, a trademark submission at the review stage long before they launched.  Which they should have known before branding.

No point in debating this here.  Unfortunately, for me, this appears to be a pump and dump.  Which hurts my brand I've been working hard on.

The actual SafeCoin will be much more than that.  It will actually be a safer currency.  Rather than a closed-source rehash of freenet or the tor network.

It has been a lot of work.

When your name is MaidSafe, you have to rebrand.  I get it.  But do a little DD first before damaging the work of others.

The actual SafeCoin has something to do with safe currency.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=582598.0

They've got you beat by quite a long time in terms of how long the project has been in the works. I don't think you know much about the msafe project at all.

Actually the Safecoin idea was a new one that was introduced to attain funding for the Maidsafe project. It was never intended from the start to be a cryptocurrency or have a cryptocurrency aspect.

So in this way, he may have chosen the name Safecoin first.

The MaidSafe project on the other hand (unrelated to Safecoin) has been around for years.

If you want a piece of honest advice jjgallow, change the name of your project from safecoin to something else. You will never be able to compete with Maidsafe in terms of publicity and marketing. This is a monumental project that has been in the works for years and as such they have a lot of PR.
It is not really a big deal to change the name of your project as it hasn't been released yet.
Complaining about how they stole your project name won't get you anywhere unfortunately.

This has been all over the news. Maidsafe has been around for years and you can verify the safecoin project/address on the maidsafe website.
Not a scam, just a poorly thought out IPO.
