Unless we improve on staking method for such wallets it will not happen. Even if we improved on that , foundation funds are very low. It would not make any sense to use that as a stimulus (not at this price anyway). The real change should come from the market demand, propping it up artificially serves no purpose if there is no demand for such thing.

I may be wrong here but it seems to me that when mining was taken offline for a week or so the shortage made the market surge and its stayed there.
