Hello! Help a newbie. As can be minted by a wallet? How many coins should lie and whether to be online? Writes this error: "Not minting because you don't have mature coins"
What does this mean?

Once you get some coins in your wallet, you must wait for 7 days for them to mature, so you can start minting. (there will be an "Unlock wallet" button when you can mint)

dam its good to see instant help Smiley this is why dmd is going to succeed... well done dev team... to the new people, here is some helpful hints

A sample .bat file to set up your miner, i use a AMD R9 270X GPU and i get a 5 to 6 Mh/s

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

sgminer.exe -k diamond --difficulty-multiplier 0.0039062500 -I 20 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 1200 --gpu-memclock 1000 --lookup-gap 0 --worksize 256 -o http://dmdpool.digsys.bg:3345 -u mugwarh.mugwarh001 -p 101003

If you would like to solo mine diamonds here is a diamond.conf file sample... dont know if it will still work with the new patch... u need to put it in your diamond roaming file. search  %appdata%  in the windows start menu then make a new text file then copy and past the stuff below and save it as diamond.conf and change it to all files... you also need to make your wallet a server... make a shortcut of your diamond-qt run file on your desk top then right click it and click properties... where it said target at the end of that command line type --server   then click apply and ok.. you need to have your wallet open and sync up with the network before it will work

listen=1
daemon=1
server=1
rpcallowip=*
rpcuser=*******
rpcpassword=*******
rpcport=17772
rpcconnect=127.0.0.1
addnode=193.68.21.19

make the rpcuser and the rpcpassword what ever you like just make sure you use the same when you set up your .bat file... here is a sample of a .bat file for solo mining

setx GPU_MAX_ALLOC_PERCENT 100
setx GPU_USE_SYNC_OBJECTS 1

sgminer.exe -k diamond --difficulty-multiplier 0.0039062500 -I 20 -g 1 --thread-concurrency 8192 --gpu-engine 1200 --gpu-memclock 1000 --lookup-gap 0 --worksize 256 -o 127.0.0.1:17772 -u ***** -p ****
if for some reason i have made a massive mistake let me know

Hello! Help a newbie. As can be minted by a wallet? How many coins should lie and whether to be online? Writes this error: "Not minting because you don't have mature coins"
What does this mean?

first of all u should set a password for ur wallet
(long and secure at least 20 signs more is better a good mix is a password
that is strong but maybe to short but u remember the short password

example: !Qayxsw2

and then add a few words to it to make it long

example:
secret!Qayxsw2fishswimbackwardsandbigHSIF

or
mypasswordissecret!Qayxsw2andeasytorememberBIG1337

then u backup ur wallet.dat and destroy all former backups of wallet.dat without password

so now u are secure but when u forget ur password everything is lost!

now about minting ur coins need to be at least 7 days old but only big pile of coins is able mint so young
most coin pile need 30 days to successfull compete for POS rewards

ideal size for DMD POS coin pile is 100 DMD bigger pile will mint most likely before they reach 30 days

more detail about pos:
Quote
How is POS working:

there is a easy and a complex answer

easy:
each year ur coins will increase as much as the pos reward percentage say if u regulary (once a month) open ur wallet in minting mode for at least a day

complex:

following is true for DMD POS
not all coins use the same
and some (most) coin devs dont full understand what i describe here
and so their code isnt utilizing POS in its full power or values not adapted to fit their coin amount

to test other coins just ask them to explain u how POS works in detail
u will get lot different and most of them are wrong answers (copycoder alarm .....)

pile
coin weight
coin age
burn coin age
min time
max time
split stake
group stake
pos difficulty
pos block time
pos reward

pile = if u check coin control u see u have lot pile of coins
each pile try to POS on his own (only group stake act different)

coin weight=determined by amount of coin in pile and his age used to calculate ur chance to mint coin weight stop to grow once ur coins reach max time is reached (this is to prevent someone gather lot coin weight and be able do some kind of attack(no guide for attack here...) (which wont work anyway at DMD because of hybrid security))

coin age=determined by amount of coin in pile and his age used to calculate ur reward when u mint successful
coin age doesnt stop to grow and so do ur rewards get bigger and bigger until
u mint successful then ur coin age of the involved coin pile is set to zero

burn coin age/coin weight happens also for all coins in a pile which is involved in a transaction
that mean that pile get his coin weight and coin age reset to zero
if u have only one big pile of coins and u send every 5 days a little outgoing transaction
u will never ever be able to mint because u always destroy the coin weight before its big enough u get a minting possibility

min time is 7 days for DMD which mean once ur pile of coins is at least 7 days old he can compete to try mint a block if ur wallet is unlocked
between mint time and max time every successful minting will be split stake

max time is 30 days for DMD which means coin weight dont grow even if ur coins are older than 30 days (but ur coin age grow without limit even after 30 days)
any minting with coins  older than 30 days will use group stake mechanism

split stake means when a pile of coins successful mint a block and is below 30 days old he will be split in 2 pile of coins where both pile will be increased with half of pos rewards u earned

group stake will be attempted by coin pile older than 30 days the they no longer are forced to try mint alone but can group with other coin pile also older than 30 days
up to 100 DMD can group up and try to mint together. if successfull they merge together forming a single pile and get the earned pos rewards added to that pile. coin pile above 100 coins cant group but when they mint the group stake mechanism will prevent them from beeing split in 2 pile

pos difficulty u can see when u enter getdifficulty into console
it determine the chance that u will be able to mint
similar to POW but this time not pure hashrate of complex hashes and luck determine who able create next block
instead simple hashes created by  wallet via cpu  and modified with the coin weight of pile which try to mint compete against each other on the network

pos block time a diff adjusting will try to raise and lower pos difficulty to reach target pos block time (in case of DMD its 600sec because of our hybrid POW/POS setup we need no faster POS block generation and it helps keep ur wallet clean of POS spam (lot small pos rewards) instead u generate less but bigger minting rewards.

pos reward determined by coin age and actual pos stage of coin
example 50% per anno  pos reward means a pile with 1000 dmd and age 30 days will if he mint successfull be
1000+(1000/100*50/12)= 1041.67 dmd

I made the little script to generate blockchain bootstrap.

Here is info about bootstrap: https://litecoin.info/Bootstrap.dat
(it is written for litecoin, but it can be applied for diamond too)

Here is the bootstrap file (the filename contains the last block number):
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/n00msaswem1ntza/AABI1-JolD_laMsOVVoGSyOwa?dl=0

Dont forget to rename the file, otherwise wallet will not load!

i say great
more diamond for the cloudminers and multipool miners

we started at 0.00012 now i guess the dump will end at 0.00040
after a short time with small up and downs the upwards trend will start again

normal stock market behavior

we defended us pretty good against pump into heaven
so this dump is pretty small

save trading area for now 0.00040 - 0.00075

update: what we see now is waiting....

noone wana sell cheaper so sell orders not follow the low buy orderbook
but still everyone want to see someone else make first step fill the buy orderbook

the fear is if i place a significant buyorder will someone dump in and even further downwards

the answer is if there would be a goal to dump further down it would have happend already

place as example a 2000-5000 DMD buyorder at 0.00040 is a nice way to reduce fear of people
and if someone dump into it say thx  Grin

Hello Guys, i'm new to dmd mining...

I've been havin' some trouble with 2 Laptops that i' trying to run workers from...

On Both i'm using ccminer since they have this Graphics cards:

Nvidia GForce GT 330M
Nvidia GForce GT 425M

the miner runs, it connects it mines...
it shows "new block detected" from time to time...
it gives me the Hash rate on both...

but it doesn't show as 'active' on the mining pool that i'm using... (miningfield)

i tried to solve this with the internal help support from them and nothing seams to work... :\
i've tried to change the port from 3389 to 3388 and backwards...
i've tried the second ccminer.exe file that comes along on the zip file...
ive tried changing the difficulty level...
(by the way, if i put this command: --difficulty-multiplier 0.0039062500 or --difficulty-multiplier=0.0039062500  the file wont run... it shuts down...)

btw... they said that it should be giving me some message about "accepted" or "rejected shares".... it doesn't show any of that!

can anyone help me with this? Smiley

Has anyone had this issue before?

The user is connecting with:

ccminer35-50.exe -a dmd-gr -o stratum+tcp://dmd.miningfield.com:3389 -u worker.usr -p workerpwd

I can see his worker authenticating with the stratum server but he is not getting any accepted shares and no rejected also.

Just a thought...
Have you tried to use port 3388 instead of 3389? On this port you start with a lower difficulty, hopefully more suitable for your cards.

Sorry I had to take a nap, been busy lately ... try http://utahjohn.ddns.net I am mining fine there in USA

I use advanced sgminer.conf but these should work command line with batch file ...

Also if u are using catalyst 14.9 this can also be a problem ... revert to catalyst 14.7 RC3

Hello Josevora.  I run multiple 750 ti's on miningfield with no problems.  I definitely get accepted/rejected.  I use ccminer 1.2 with the following config.
ccminer35-50.exe -q -s 1 -a dmd-gr -o stratum+tcp://dmd.miningfield.com:3389 -u x -p x
What is the speed of your NVidia processors?  Do you have their compute set properly?  Also, do you have the right algo chosen?

Difficulty close to 250, that is a quite steep rise. Could that be some kind of Diff. Pump?
